March 12, 2010 |

(Clearwisdom.net) New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts premiered at the Kanagawa Prefectural Civic Hall in Yokohama on March 9. As Shen Yun travels the world, Chinese people outside of the mainland have expressed their deep appreciation for the opportunity to see authentic divinely-imparted Chinese culture.

Ms. Lu was delighted to see Shen Yun

Ms. Lu Juan, who immigrated to Japan from China four years ago, said that such a meaningful program should be watched by all Chinese and she would definitely watch the show again next year. She also expressed that it was indeed meaningful to see such traditional Chinese culture. "I am really excited. It is indeed worthwhile to see the show today," she exclaimed.

"The program Wu Song Battles the Tiger was marvelous. I read the legendary story in the past, but I seemed to see the true story today. I think it is a unique Chinese culture. The performance with bow and arrow are usually performed in dramas such as The Three Kingdoms. It is very meaningful to see something here that we cannot see in China, so I feel really very happy. "

Ms. Lu was from Shenzhen, a city in Southern China, and she currently teaches Japanese and Chinese language. After watching the Shen Yun Performing Arts' show in Yokohama, she said with excitement that the show she saw today was different from what she had watched in China, as the Shen Yun show illustrates the divinely-imparted Chinese culture and has international significance. Dance of the Dai and Mongolian Hospitality were among the programs that she felt especially touching. "It is indeed valuable to see such dance performances overseas," she added.
