(Clearwisdom.net) Like most Chinese people, I grew up under the rule of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which promotes atheism. Hence, I had no idea of the true purpose of life. A few years ago a relative of mine, a Dafa practitioner, came to visit and asked me to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. At that time I was not sure what she was talking about, but I noticed that she was sincerely concerned with my welfare. To avoid dealing further with the matter and to ease her worry, I casually agreed.

One day in 2007 I by chance opened the book Zhuan Falun and was deeply impressed by its content. In two days I finished reading the whole book. It was clear to me that my future depended on aligning myself with Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Many people told me that Falun Gong practitioners were good and kind people. If so, why did the CCP want to stop people from the practice and moreover, why did they persecute them?

When I was in school, I listened passively to what the teachers said. By 2007 I was an adult and wanted to examine the above question very carefully for myself.

The more I thought about what was taught in Zhuan Falun, the more I could not find anything wrong with it. Asking people to be truthful cannot be wrong. It has to be a crime for the CCP to fabricate the Tiananmen Square self-immolation. Actually, the incident at Tiananmen Square seemed strange to me even when it happened. The day before the incident, the official state television announced that Falun Gong was bad. Then, the very next day, this incident occurred. It is both laughable and deplorable for the CCP to fool people into believing that learning to be truthful and compassionate is bad.

The positive side is that many Chinese people, like myself, are able to see that the CCP is wicked because it supports lies instead of truth.

At the time I agreed to withdraw from the CCP I did not understand what Falun Gong was all about. After reading Zhuan Falun for a period of time, I found that it was telling me the real purpose of life. It provided me with the opportunity to return to my true home.

I was not very serious when I wrote down my agreement. Now I want to announce sincerely that I do want to withdraw from the CCP and any related organizations. I also hope that all people in this world can see through the lies fabricated by the CCP and seek the truth that will bring light to their lives.

Master has shown us the way home. We should follow the teachings of Master closely and diligently,

so that we can progress quickly.

May 2010 be a year for many more predestined people to find the way home!
