(Clearwisdom.net) The highly acclaimed Shen Yun Performing Arts performed once again in Los Angeles on the evening of Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Ms. Esther Pearlman and her husband Martin were among the enthusiastic audience at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion at the Music Center, one of the largest stages in the country.

Ms. Pearlman, an abstract artist and writer, appreciated seeing the New York-based dance company's presentation of ancient Chinese culture in classical dance and music.
"I really enjoyed it. It was really beautiful colors and excellent. I really recommend it to everybody I know. Very nice! I really enjoyed it. It was very pleasurable."
Ms. Pearlman was amazed by the company's repertoire of classical Chinese dance and song. "I loved it! It was very relaxing and very pleasurable. It was very meditative. It made you feel really good."
She added that the show was a wonderful surprise. "I was very surprised. We had been in China and we hadn't seen anything like it. It was very unusual and astonishing, and the music and the paintings in the background were very good too. The orchestra was excellent and the performers were really great too!"
"The message was, try to enjoy life and also, they believe in reincarnation and that you came here to help out other people, and that we are all to help people- that's what life is all about, and also if we didn't do what we were supposed to do in this time that when we die we will come back another way to help other people.
Ms. Pearlman was deeply moved by the performances touching on the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners that is still taking place in China. "It showed that the Gods can help you and that you can become a better person after you believe in something that is better than yourself."
Mr. Martin Pearlman, a retired pharmacist, was also greatly impressed, "Well, I thought it was wonderful. I enjoyed it very much."
He was touched by the message he was left with after seeing Shen Yun. "It is a united world and we have a gift of life from God and that we should all be happy and try to take care of each other."
Ms. Pearlman concluded by saying she felt happy after seeing Shen Yun, "Yes, it was a very pleasurable thing. I enjoyed it. I really recommend it to everybody I know!"
