(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 17 cities or counties in eight provinces. In this report, 11 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 17 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Ao Yiwen Sentenced to Forced Labor; Mr. Liu Yong Detained
Ms. Ao Yiwen was sentenced to 18 months of forced labor and is now in Nanchang City Women's Forced Labor Camp. She has refused to do slave labor and went on a persecution protest hunger strike. The officials have refused to let her family meet with her.
Liu Yong is currently held at Nanchang City No. 1 Detention Center and is being brutally tortured.

2. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Ye Yongfeng Persecuted - Belated Information -
Ms. Ye Yongfeng is now in the Futian Detention Center in Shenzhen City and facing illegal trial.
She was arrested in 2005 and held in Shekou Detention Center for more than a year. She was taken to Sanshui Women's Forced Labor Camp in Guangdong Province and the illegal sentence was extended. She returned home in July or August 2008.
3. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Yurong Taken to a Brainwashing Facility
Fangshan District 610 Office agents from Beijing broke into the home of Ms. Wang Yurong in Zhilou Village, the Fangshan District, on October 15, 2010, and took her to a brainwashing facility. She has not yet returned home.
4. [Chongqing] Mr. Liu Chenggao Detained
Plainclothes officers from the Shapingba District Police Department arrested nine practitioners. They included Mr. Liu Chenggao, in his 70s, from Shapingba. They were arrested as they spoke with people about Falun Gong in Sanxia Square in Shapingba. The police searched the practitioners, ransacked their homes, and interrogated them.
Liu Chenggao was taken to the Baihelin Detention Center in the Shapingba District later that night and held for 15 days; the other eight practitioners were released.
5. [Shanghai] Mr. Li Yinguan, Who Was Arrested on September 8, 2010, Was Sentenced to Three Years of Forced Labor

Officers from the Xihekou Border Patrol Police Station arrested Ms. Zhao Lanhua the evening of October 29, 2010, as she tried to expose the Communist Party's crimes in Xihekou Village, Xihai Township.

7. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Zhaochun and Mr. Wang Hanyong Persecuted
Ms. Zhang Zhaochun and Mr. Wang Hanyong from the Hailong Corporation were arrested by officers from Changle Police Department on October 16, 2010, and are now in Changle Detention Center. They have been illegally fired from their jobs.
8. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Mr. Wang Xu, Mr. Wang Ruilin and Ms. Liu Rufang Face Trial in Yongjing Court
9. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yuan Shuzhi Persecuted
Sun Yueguo, Dongdayuan Village security chief, took Ms. Yuan Shuzhi to the Cunkou Development District National Resource Bureau on the afternoon of August 28, 2010. She had been posting Falun Gong-related stickers on Chenggang Road, Dongdayuan Village, Laizhou City. The police ransacked her home. She was taken to the Dianzi Custody Center and released on September 12, 2010, after 15 days of detention.

11. [Suiling County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Kai and Ms. Guan Shubo Arrested and Detained
Officers from the Zhenbei Police Station, who jumped over the wall and ransacked their homes, arrested Mr. Li Kai and Ms. Guan Shubo. The practitioners are currently being held at the Suiling County Detention Center; their families are forbidden to visit them.

Huangdao District 610 Office agents arrested Ms. Gao Xia from the Huangdao District in mid-October 2010 and took her to the Qingdao City Detention Center.

14. [Fujin City, Heilongjiang Province] The Persecution of Ms. Gao Yumin - Belated Information -
Officers from Fujin City Police Department broke into Ms. Gao Yumin's home on December 15, 2008; arrested her; and took her to Xigemu Forced Labor Camp in Jiamusi City around midnight.
The authorities closed the Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp on December 3, 2009. Ms. Gao was taken to the Harbin Women's Drug Rehab Center, to be held until November 17, 2010. It is said the officials are planning to hold her beyond her term.

15. [Xiantao City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhang Zhibing and Others Taken to a Brainwashing Session
About five practitioners from Xiantao City were arrested on October 27, 2010, and are held in Magang Brainwashing Facility in Huchang Town, Xiantao City. Below is a brief summary:
Mr. Zhang Zhibing is in his 40s. He works in the computer business and was arrested the morning of October 27, 2010, at his place of business.

16. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xie Lixue and Ms. Dong Hua Arrested
Ms. Xie Lixue, a nurse, was arrested on her way home from work on October 28, 2010.
Ms. Dong Hua was arrested at home. Officers from the Zhangjia Police Station participated in the arrest on the morning of October 28, 2010.
17. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Zhihong and Wife, Sun Xiuxia, Face Covert Trial
Officers from the Changchun City Police Department, from the 610 Office, and from the Jinqian Police Station broke into the home of Mr. Wang Zhihong and his wife, Sun Xiuxia, on September 29, 2009. They took the couple's TV, computer(s), printer(s), and other personal belongings. Mr. Wang is currently in the Shuangyang District No. 3 Detention Center; Ms. Sun is being held in the Tiebei Police Hospital.
After persecuting the couple for over a year, more than 50 Changchun police officers took them to Changchun City's Erdao District Court at 6 a.m. on September 26, 2010. The officials would not let the practitioners' families hire a lawyer and held the trial in secret.

18. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
Officers from the Huanren County Police Department launched another round of arrests at around 6 a.m. on October 28, 2010. These practitioners were arrested: Mr. Wang Yonghua, Mr. Zhang Yunsheng, Ms. Pan Guizhi, and Ms. Liang Jiaju, whose legs are severely handicapped (she was released later that afternoon).
Several other practitioners who have not yet been identified were also arrested that same morning.
19. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ding Hua and Others Arrested
Ms. Ding Hua and two other practitioners were recently arrested. Officers from the Zhongshan Park Police Station near the Houer Subdivision in the Shahekou District participated.
20. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xiao Renying Poisoned at Brainwashing Facility
Xiao Renying from Yangjia Town in the Jingyang District was taken to brainwashing sessions held by Deyang City 610 Office agents in Hexin Town, Guanghan. The officials laced her food with unknown substances. After eating, she became bloated and had abdominal pain and panic attacks. She still feels dizzy and has experienced hallucinations since her release.
