(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 21 cities or counties in 12 provinces. In this report, 15 Falun Gong practitioners have been subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 20 practitioners have been illegally arrested.
1. [Yitong, Jilin Province] Ms. Du Liming Sentenced to Three Years in Prison by Yitong Court
Ms. Du Liming, a handicapped woman from Yitong, was sentenced to three years in prison by Yitong Court and was sent to Heizuizi Prison in Jilin Province on October 19, 2010. The prison authorities refused to take her in because she was in extremely poor health condition. Ms. Du was not taken back to her local city, however, and her whereabouts are unknown.

4. [Ju County, Shandong Province] Ms. Han Yuhong Arrested
Ms. Han Yuhong from Ju County was working in the fields at about 9:00 am on October 20, 2010, when several people showed up and ordered her to write a guarantee statement promising not to practice Falun Gong any longer. Ms. Han refused and was consequently taken to Zhangqiu Forced Labor Camp in Shandong.

5. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Ke Yuanzhen, in Her 50s, Arrested at Her Workplace on October 14
6. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Fang Shue Arrested
Ms. Fang Shue is from Dazhangzi, Mutoudeng, Qinglong County, Qinhuangdao City. She was arrested at home by officers from Mutoudeng Police Station at about 11:30 a.m. on October 21, 2010.
7. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Ping Sentenced to 12 Years in Prison
The Lixia District Court tried Ms. Sun Ping on October 21, 2010, and sentenced her to 12 years in prison. Ms. Sun is now being held in Jinan Detention Center in Zhonggong Town.
Ms. Sun, 56, is an employee of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Because of her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, she has been harassed many times by agents from the 610 Office of Jinan Public Security Bureau Lixia District Branch, officers from Keyuanlu Police Station, and security officers from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
8. [Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yin Guangsu Arrested
Ms. Yin Guangsu from Mianzhu was working in her store on the afternoon of October 18, 2010, when officers from Chengzhong Police Station in Manzhu and staff from the Tianhe District Community Committee told her to go to the police station to pick something up, which was a lie. She went to Chengzhong Police Station and was detained there for 15 days.

9. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Information about the Persecution of Ms. Yi Shifen
Ms. Yi Shifen, 75, is from the Baiyun District, Guiyang. She was taken to Guiyang Law and Order Center on July 8, 2003, and persecuted there for a month.
Yu Meiqiu, director of Hongyun Community Residents' Committee, Yanshanhong Subdistrict Office, Baiyun District, and officers from Hongshan Police Station barged into Ms. Yi's home in March of 2002 and took a copy of Zhuan Falun. They have also being tracking Ms. Yi for a long time. In April of 2003, Ms. Yi was arrested at home and was released after being held for a day.
Officers tried to force Ms. Yi to write the Three Statements to renounce her belief in May or June of 2003, which she refused to do. Ms. Yi was arrested at home on July 8, 2003 and taken to the brainwashing center located in Lannigou Law and Order Center in Guiyang City. She was held there and locked in an isolated room for a month.
10. [Chibi City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhong Xiaoming and His Wife Persecuted
Mr. Zhong Xiaoming and his wife, Ms. Zhen Yu, from Chibi City were sentenced to one year of forced labor. Mr. Zhong will be sent to Xiangyanghu Forced Labor Camp in Xianning City, Hubei Province. Ms. Zhen was allowed to serve her term outside of prison because she just had a baby on October 6, 2010.
11. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Additional Information about the Arrests of Mr. Wu Yinhua and Ms. Cai Huaying
Mr. Wu Yinhua from the Yanjiang District, Ziyang City, in his 40s, is a doctor and has his own clinic. He was arrested on September 14, 2010.
Ms. Cai Huaying, 60, is retired from Nanche Company Ziyang Locomotive Ltd. She was falsely accused on the afternoon of October 13, 2010, when she was explaining the facts about Falun Gong. Officers from Binhelu Police Station barged into her home and took her into Erehu Brainwashing Center in Yingjie Town.

12. [Suizhong, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Wei and Ms. Huang Lihua Arrested
Mr. Liu Wei, a teacher at a vocational senior high school, and Ms. Huang Lihua, a teacher at the Experimental Primary School, from Suizhong were taken to a brainwashing center at Huludao Athlete School in Xingcheng.
13. [Anshun City, Guizhou Province] Mr. Liang Shaofei Arrested
On his way home from grocery shopping at about 10:00 a.m. on October 18, 2010, Mr. Liang Shaofei from Anshun City was taken to Lannigou Brainwashing Center in Guiyang City by five or six people from Guiyang, aided by officers from the local police station.
14. [Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yu Liqun and Mr. Gao Jie Arrested
Mr. Yu Liqun from Wenchun Town, Mudanjiang, was arrested by officers from Mudanjiang Domestic Security Division at about 11:00 a.m. on October 15. They took his computer and printer, among other items. Mr. Gao Jie was arrested by officers from the domestic security division at about 3:00 p.m. and his home was ransacked.
15. [Luannan County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Shujing Being Persecuted in Luannan County Vocation Education Center
Authorities of Luannan County Vocation Education Center have been persecuting their employee, teacher, Ms. Zhang Shujing, and trying to force her to write a statement renouncing Falun Gong. Although the directors of the center did admit that Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good, under pressure from the Communist Party, they are still trying to make Ms. Zhang sign the statement and have threatened to dismiss her from her job if she refuses. Ms. Zhang's husband is the deputy director of the Luannan County No.2 Middle School. He also collaborated to force his wife to sign the statement and has threatened to divorce her if she refuses.

Ms. Yuxian and Ms. Dafeng, in her 50s, from Xuchang City were arrested on the morning of October 18, 2010, while they were explaining the facts about Falun Gong to the public. They are now being held in Liyuan Detention Center, Xuchang.

Ms. Wang Honglei from Laixi was arrested by Zhang Luning and other officers from Laixi City Domestic Security Division near the apartment building where she lives at about 8:00 a.m. on October 20, 2010. They ransacked Ms. Wang's home and took her computer, printer, Falun Gong books, MP3 player, and MP5 player, among other items.
19. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Jie's Home Ransacked
Mr. Zhang Jie is from Dasitou Village, Zhaocun Township, Dingzhou City. His computer, Falun Gong books, and other items were taken on October 20, 2010.

20. [Jianyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Ma and Mr. Wang Hua Arrested
Mr. Ma from Jianyang City, 72, was arrested at night on October 19, 2010. Over 20 officers went to a material production site near Jianyang Train Station at about 2:00 p.m. on October 20. They took a laptop computer, a laser printer, two Canon color inkjet 4500 printers, three single-sided 1020 laser printers, a big case of printer ink, two big cases of laser printer powder, toner cartridges, a gross of Weibao DVDs, and a gross of Weibao VCDs, valued at 15,000 yuan in total.
In the middle of October 2010 when Mr. Wang Hua from Jianyang was at home, seven or eight officers from the local police station and the Public Security Bureau Domestic Security Division barged in and ransacked his home. They took a laptop computer, a Canon color ink jet 4680 printer, an MP3 player and Falun Gong books, valued at 5,000 yuan in total. Mr. Wang was taken to Erehu Brainwashing Center in Yingjie Town, Ziyang City.
21. [Yingshan, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tao Qiubi Arrested
Ms. Tao Qiubi from Yingshan called a taxi to take her home on October 14, 2010. She explained the facts about Falun Gong to the taxi driver, who reported her to the police. Ms. Tao was arrested that night.
22. [Sichuan Province] Additional Information about the Persecution of Practitioners in Xichang City Brainwashing Center
Six practitioner from Xichang city - Ms. Li Zhonghua, Ms. Xu Shaoqiong, Ms. Guo Hongping, Mr. Guo Bing, Mr. Zhang Yi, and Mr. Liao Ancai were taken to Xining Town Brainwashing Center in Xichang City on September 27, 2010.
Ms. Huang Yanyun and Mr. Zhao Yuling, who were arrested by officers from Ningyuan Police Station in Xichang and held in Tuohuang Detention Center in Xichang, were also transferred to the brainwashing center on September 9.
Mr. Zhang Yi was released from the brainwashing center on October 17 and Ms. Xu Shaoqiong on the 18th.
