(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in ten provinces. In this report, nine practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 22 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Beijing] Shijingshan Police Arrest Dozens of Practitioners
Shijingshan police arrested dozens of practitioners in the afternoon and evening of September 28, 2010. Those arrested include Mr. An Degui and his wife, Mr. Peng Tianguo, and Mr. Li Qian from the Wulitun region.
2. [Fuyang, Anhui Province] Recent Circumstances Regarding Ms. He Jun and Ms. Guo Fuhua
Ms. He Jun from Fuyang and Ms. Guo Fuhua from Linquan County were arrested on July 17, 2010, and held in the Linquan County Detention Center. They were each subjected to one year of forced labor, and sent to the Hefei Women's Forced Labor Camp on August 13. Ms. Guo was sent back to the Linquan County Detention Center that same day. She was able to leave the detention center on September 10.
3. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Chen Ling Arrested
Ms. Chen Ling, an employee from the Shenyi Rubber Products Factory in Mawangdian, was arrested on September 13, 2010, as she spoke with people about Falun Gong in Dawa. She was held in the Jinhui Police Station that same day, and her home was ransacked that evening. She was taken to the Baihuashan Detention Center the next morning and transferred to the Lannigou Brainwashing Center on September 29.
4. [Jiuquan, Gansu Province] Ms. Zhang Xuelian Transferred from a Forced Labor Camp to the Dunhuang Detention Center on October 2, 2010

5. [Wuxi, Jiangsu Province] Circumstances of Ms. Wang Juan and Ms. Wang Weineng
Practitioners Ms. Wang Juan and Ms. Wang Weineng, who are employees of the Jianghai Hospital, were arrested on February 9, 2010. Participating in the arrest were officers from the city's Domestic Security Division and from the Shangmadun Police Station. The practitioners are still in the Wuxi City No. 1 Detention Center. Shangmadun Police Station officials, along with officials from the Chong'an District Procuratorate and the Chong'an District Court, attempted to imprison them. The practitioners' families have been to the above three institutions to demand their releases, but were ignored.

6. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Shi Yunting Arrested
Elderly practitioner Ms. Shi Yunting, from Qiancheng Village, Taoxu Town, was arrested as she and her grandson were walking along the roadside on October 2, 2010. Mengyin County and Taoxu Town 610 Office agents made the arrest. Her whereabouts are unknown.
7. [Sanhe City, Hebei Province] Ms. Lu Baoju and Ms. Tang Feng Arrested
Yanjiao 610 Office agents and officers from the Yanjiao Police Station arrested Ms. Lu Baoju from Yanjiao Town on October 2, 2010. Ms. Tang Feng was arrested several days ago.
8. [Xinxiang, Henan Province] Mr. Zhu Ying Arrested Again
Ms. Zhu Ying was arrested again on the evening of September 27, 2010, less than two months after she was released from a prior detention. Officers from the Dongdajie Police Station, including Wei Guanglei, deceived her into going downstairs from her home and arrested her. Ms. Zhu is in the Xinxiang City Detention Center.
Ms. Zhu was previously harassed, arrested and detained twice in September 2009 and April 2010.

9. [Guantao County, Hebei Province] Ms. Ban Xiuling Harassed
Guantao County Domestic Security Division head Li Junshan and a group of officers broke into Ms. Ban Xiuling's home and ransacked it at around 10:00 a.m. on August 27, 2010. They forced Ms. Ban's husband to pay 10,000 yuan, which constituted extortion. Li Junshan's attempt to make Ms. Ban to go to the police department failed, as Ms. Ban refused to comply. He then harassed Ms. Ban's husband by telephone.
Li Junshan made another harassing phone call at around 9:00 a.m. on October 2, 2010, attempting to make Ms. Ban to go to the police department.

10. [Lushan, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Han Yuming Arrested
Lushan 610 Office agent Sun Weiguang arrested Ms. Han Yuming on September 29, 2010, and ransacked her home.

11. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Prison Inmate Bites off One of Ms. Sun Jingwen's Fingers
Ms. Sun Jingwen was sentenced to four years in prison. During her detention, a guard instigated an inmate to bite one of her fingers off.
12. [Zhengzhou, Henan Province] Ms. Ma Qimei Arrested
Ms. Ma Qimei, from Gao Village, Xingyang, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. on September 26, 2010. Officers from the local police station, the police department, and the Political and Judiciary Committee made the arrest. She is in the Red Forest Sanitorium No. 2 Building.
13. [Wuxue, Hubei Province] Mr. Chen Zhimeng and Ms. Sun Guihua Detained
Mr. Chen Zhimeng, Ms. Sun Guihua, and another practitioner were arrested in early September 2010. They are still in the Wuxue City Administrative Detention Center.
