(Clearwisdom.net) (By a Clearwisdom correspondent in Guangdong Province) Recently the Rongcheng District Court in Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, secretly put Ms. Lin Shaona on trial, but denied her access to a lawyer and didn't inform her family. Throughout the trial, Ms. Lin refuted the charges against her. In the end, the judge had to admit that Ms. Lin Shaona was innocent but still sentenced her to three years in prison and sent her to the Jieyang City Detention Center.

Ms. Lin was in very poor health when she was young. When she went to visit her relatives in 1998, she saw them practicing a new form of qigong. She was very curious and started to follow the exercises. She felt her whole body become very warm and very comfortable. After that she started to cultivate Falun Dafa and soon she became very healthy.

After the Chinese Communist Party started to persecute Falun Gong in July 1999, Ms. Lin often clarified the truth of Falun Dafa to her neighbors with her personal experience. On September 2, 2009, she was falsely accused and arrested by the Xianqiao Police Station while she was explaining the facts about Falun Gong in Shanqian Village, Xianqiao Township in the Rongcheng District. She has been detained in the Jieyang City Detention Center since.

The officers in the detention center didn't allow Ms. Lin's family to visit her. Her family members didn't hear any news about her. They didn't know when or how she was tried and sentenced. Her family was not allowed to visit her until after she was sentenced.

Ms. Lin's family found that her mental state was not very good when they finally visited her. According to Ms. Lin, she was forced to work like a slave in the detention center. Detainees have a very heavy workload and cannot rest until they finish all their assigned tasks. Ms. Lin was not able to get enough rest.
