(Clearwisdom.net) (By a correspondent from Shandong Province) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Qingde from Xuejiagao, Qingdao City Economic and Technology Development Zone, was persecuted many times for his belief in Falun Dafa.

On July 16, 2009, police from the Xuejiagao Police Station came to his home, arrested him, and searched his house.

According to witnesses, when police were taking Mr. Wang away, his family members tried to prevent the arrest. The police brutally beat them, including his fourteen-year-old son, and took all his family members to the police station. His wife and two sons were later released.

Mr. Wang was detained in the detention center for four months. In November 2009, the CCP court opened a session to try Mr. Wang without notifying his family, and sentenced him to three years in prison. Police sent him to the Jinan Prison in Shandong Province before his family could lodge an appeal.
