(Clearwisdom.net) During the mid-summer dry season this year, there was a strange drought in some areas, while in other areas there was sufficient rain.

There are two neighboring villages, A and B, in Qianguo County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province. There are Falun Gong practitioners in both villages.

In past dry seasons, it always rained more in Village A than in Village B. In July last year, the Communist Party secretary of Village A led police officers in arresting six Dafa practitioners. The practitioners were sent to the county detention center for half a month. One of them was imprisoned in a forced labor camp and has still not been released. The practitioners left in the village were not spared either. They were monitored by people arranged by the village cadres. In mid-summer this year, there was no rain for 20 days. The cornfields were so dry that the corn shucks turned almost yellow. It was obvious that the farmers' yield would be greatly reduced.

Village B cadres protected Falun Gong in their village and did not arrest any practitioners. It rained twice in mid-summer and the fields got very wet. Their area did not see any drought. The officials there have righteous minds and this benefits their people.
