(Clearwisdom.net) Chen Shuyi was clarifying the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong in Zhuozhou City on September 2, 2009. Someone reported his actions to authorities and he was unlawfully arrested. On September 3, 2009, officers from the Zhuozhou City Police Department transferred Mr. Chen to the Zhuozhou City Detention Center. They have not allowed his family to see him.

After Mr. Chen was arrested, personnel from the Zhuozhou City Police Department called the Laishui County Police Department, which is in Mr. Chen's hometown. As a result, police from the Wangcun Township Police Station ransacked his house. At around 5:00 p.m. on September 2 the Party branch head from Dongwangzhuang Village led officers Wang Yongchuan, Yang Fudong and Liu Jianwu from the police station, together with the new deputy party head from Wangcun Township, to Mr. Chen's house. They showed no legal documents or certificates giving them the authority to do this and they thoroughly overturned his residence, searching everywhere and making a huge mess. They took personal items valued at one thousand yuan and did not leave a receipt.

Officers from the Laishui County Police Department and the Zhuozhou City Police Department went to the Dongwangzhuang Village Party head's home again on the afternoon of September 3. They brought a detention notice and accused Mr. Chen of a so-called "crime of sabotaging legal enforcement by organizing and using a cult," and took him directly to the Zhuozhou City Detention Center.

Mr. Chen's family went to the detention center to bring him some clothes, but the detention center authorities did not allow them to meet with Chen Shuyi, and only allowed them to leave the clothes there.

Yuan Guoqi, the Wangcun Township head, is currently in charge of monitoring Chen Shuyi's family. The Chinese Communist regime will celebrate the 60th anniversary of its coming to power on October 1, so many authorities are charged with closely monitoring practitioners on the streets in many villages.
