(Clearwisdom.net) (Correspondent from Shengyang City, Liaoning Province) On March 31, 2009, at around 10p.m., two police officers arrested Ms. Zhang Zhiqin, a practitioner from Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. Before they took Ms. Zhang away, the officers ruthlessly kicked her head, body, and legs. She attempted to cover herself with both her hands, and said loudly, "Falun Dafa is good." Many passersby witnessed the assault.

She was then taken to the Xiadongmen Police Station in Dadong District, and confined in an iron cage with a 24-hour guard. She was charged with hanging over 800 posters. Her father came from Fushun City to find out what happened to his daughter. The police offers then drove him and three relatives off. One of the relatives was detained for over two hours without being given any reason. The officer responsible was Wang Jiandong, approximately 36 or 37 years of age.

On June 26, 2009, at about 3p.m., the Dadong District Trial Court opened for Ms. Zhang's case. On this day, members of the Chinese communist party were in high alert as if faced with dangerous enemies. Due to the pressure from the Shenyang "610" office, Ms. Zhang was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment. She is currently being held in the Women's Prison in Liaoning Province.

Ms. Zhang Zhiqin, 47, is from Qingyuan County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province. She suffered from many illnesses including a nervous breakdown, and back pain. At times, she was unable to work due to the seriousness of her illnesses. She was also quick-tempered. In 1995, she began to practice Falun Dafa. Miraculously, her illnesses vanished without medical help. She became a gentle, kind-hearted and selfless person.
