(Clearwisdom.net) (Correspondent from Guizhou Province) Mr. Ou Ziwen, an elderly retiree, was severely tortured for practicing Falun Gong, resulting in many health problems after he was released from prison in 2007. He died in April 2009, as a result of being tortured.

Mr. Ou began practicing Falun Dafa in 1998, and people who knew him considered him a very
pure-hearted person. At the end of March 2001, he was reported for handing out truth clarifying materials, and was arrested by Yang Chengbao, the vice-chief of the Factory Police Station and a group of officers from the Xixiu District Police Department.

After they ransacked Mr. Ou's home, the officers detained him for 15 days, then further detained him for two months in the Second Detention Center. He was released after the guards extorted 3,000 yuan from his family. After Mr. Ou was released, he was put under 24-hour surveillance.

In 2002, he was detained for two months after he wrote a letter in defense of Falun Gong.

On December 1, 2004, police arrested Mr. Ou again, took his Falun Dafa books and materials, and detained him. He was sentenced to three years in the Zhongba Forced Labor Camp where he was regularly tortured with sleep deprivation and heavy labor.

In addition, the guards put Mr. Ou's rice bowel next to the cell's chamber pot and brutally beat him until they knocked out two of his teeth. The guards instructed prisoners to squeeze his testes and kick him in his lower abdominal area, causing Mr. Ou to pass out for several hours from the acute pain. When he awoke, he started having symptoms of rectal prolapse. The labor camp had no choice but to rush him to the local hospital.

Mr. Ou was finally released in 2007, but due to being brutally tortured in the Zhongba Forced Labor Camp, he suffered from a hernia, became very emaciated, experienced liver, kidney and lung failure, and finally died on April 4, 2009.
