Recently, many fellow practitioners have been saying, "Be careful--the 60-year anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party is approaching." Actually, every time it gets close to any of those "sensitive days," fellow practitioners remind each other, "Be careful." I'm thinking, "Fellow practitioners, we should completely let go of this notion now. Do not say that anymore." When we say that, we are unintentionally acknowledging the persecution by the old forces. Meanwhile, our impulse to hide shows our attachments of fear and selfishness.

Think about it: "sensitive days" or not, has the evil ever stopped the illegal persecution for even one day in the past ten years?

A few years ago, Teacher commented in a Fa lecture on how some practitioners had hope in the prime minister of China. Although many years have passed, some practitioners in China still really haven't improved a lot on this issue. When the Olympic torch was paraded through the country, many practitioners developed attachments about it and were consequently Illegally arrested. We should not make the same mistake today. No matter what kind of tricks the evil Party might come up with to celebrate its 60 years of dictatorship, we shouldn't be attached. We should keep saving sentient beings, sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil, and cultivating ourselves well. If all practitioners as one body became mature, the evil would have no way to deceive us. There would be no persecution.

Right before the Olympics, the environment in my local area was very bad. During that period of time, my mind and heart were steady. Everyday I Clarifying the Truth and helped people quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I didn't encounter any trouble. Teacher said,

"When it comes to those who genuinely do well, they truly don't dare to touch them. When it comes to those who oppose the old forces' arrangements and who have very strong righteous thoughts, they can't touch them." (From "Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference")

We can see a pattern over the past ten years. Every time things got "quiet" for a while, the old forces used the issue of "sensitive days" to stir things up. Fellow practitioners with strong attachments have been persecuted. Then the environment "quiets" again until the next "sensitive days." The evil use sthis malicious tactic to remove practitioners' attachments. However, Teacher does not acknowledge such a persecutory approach. As Falun Dafa practitioners, we should not acknowledge it either.

If you have many attachments, no matter how much attention you pay to your security, the authorities will try to arrest you. If you can firmly deny it and follow well the path that Teacher arranged for us to do the three things, who will dare to persecute you?

Meanwhile, we should clearly know that Fa-rectification is moving forward very rapidly. Whether it's ordinary people or police officers, their attitudes towards practitioners have changed a lot. A few days ago, a fellow practitioner told me a story. An older policeman and younger policeman went to the home of a practitioner. At the time, the practitioner was doing the meditation exercise. She forgot to lock the door, so the two cops came in. She thought it was her husband, so she didn't even open her eyes at first. The older cop talked to her for a while and then left. On their way out, he said to the younger cop, "Remember, when we get back, just say you didn't see anything." From this, we can tell that, even when the Party's authority seems to be absolute, many are no longer obeying the regime's orders . The police have come to understand what Falun Gong really is and they try to leave a way out for themselves . More and more people want to know the truth about Falun Dafa now.

One day I had lunch with an executive from a large company. I clarified the truth to him and talked to him about quitting the Chinese Communist Party. He said, "I have already quit!" When I asked him where, he answered, "In Melbourne, when I was in Australia. I was there on a tour and a group of Falun Gong happened to be holding an activity. I took a picture of them. Someone then came to tell me the facts about Falun Gong and asked me to quit. I agreed immediately, 'Yes, yes, yes, I want to quit the Party.'"

Then the executive said to me, "Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to see the Shen Yun show." I said, "I have a DVD of the show that I can give you." He accepted it very happily. Then he said, "If you ask me, I'd say that, in the world today, only Falun Gong could made such great achievements. I saw them in other countries. Their activities were so well organized. They are very nice and considerate. Truly magnificent!" During the whole lunch, the only thing we talked about was Falun Dafa and quitting the Party and its affiliates. Three other guests agreed to quit the Party, too. The progress of Fa-rectification has really reached the point that even ordinary people can recognize the Dafa (Great Law).

I have had many positive experiences like this. As Falun Dafa practitioners, we should rationally view the changes in the progress of Fa-rectification. We should work on our cultivation and not get confused by superficial occurrences. Teacher said,

"It is true that in the past I've said that the time left for Fa-rectification was not that long, quite short in fact. I had really hoped that you would quickly mature and grow rational, thus allowing this affair to be concluded in a short time." ("Fa Teaching at the 2009 Washington DC International Fa Conference")

Teacher said, "When you have all become mature, the next stage will begin." ("Don't Be Self-Indulgent and Draw Demons to Ourselves * With Master's Commentary") I read the recent articles from Teacher several times. I came to realize that Teacher is worried that practitioners as one body are still not mature yet! Teacher has been hoping that we will remove our attachments and become mature soon, then Teacher would end the whole thing . Fellow practitioners, please examine why are we not moving forward to this next stage?
