Woman from Xi'an: Deep feeling of excitement watching the show

After the show, Ms. Hong said she was very moved by the performance and her eyes were red from crying. "I don't know why, and I can't express it, but I am very touched. I feel as if Gods sent these dancers to the earth to perform ..."

Ms. Hong, from Xi'an in China, had learned on the Internet that Shen Yun is widely appreciated in various countries, and that many people who have seen the show mention that they feel like their minds have been cleansed, so when she knew that Shen Yun was coming to Argentina, she knew she had to come and witness it for herself.

"It is very thrilling; it is really excellent. Whether the music, dancing, or other aspects, it was all great; I liked them all. This performance is very touching; it feels as if it truly stirs the heart."

Shen Yun shows the five-thousand-year history and traditional culture

On the evening of July 5, Mr. Luo brought his wife and family, a total of nine members, to watch the ninth Shen Yun show.

Mr. Luo, originally from Shanghai, has lived in Argentina for more than forty years. He saw the show with eight of his relatives. He said that the performance was of a very high standard, especially as it showcases China's 5,000-year history and traditional culture for the Western society to understand. "It is really great for all the performers and staff to make such a contribution," he said.

Last year, Mr. Luo joined a tourist group to mainland China with his three daughters so that they could find their roots, but they didn't find anything like Shen Yun in China. "This is the first time we have seen this kind of display of true cultural arts," he said.

The dance about Falun Gong is touching

Mr. Luo's daughters, Angelica and Anna, particularly liked the dance Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution. The dance depicts the persecution of a group of people who believe in the spiritual discipline of Falun Gong, which is based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Despite the persecution, their steadfast faith in Buddha Law is not swayed. Ultimately, good was rewarded and the cultivator who was persecuted to death was brought to heaven.

Angelica said, "They (the story characters) are common people like us. The family is broken just because the father has his own belief."

Anna, who works as a physician, said that from this dance she saw that "violence can never change one's faith."

Ms. Luo said in Spanish, "The show is great, splendid!" She appreciated all the performers to come to Argentina.

Students: Tear running when watching the show

Four Chinese students who just came to Buenos Aires for two weeks watched the show. During intermission, they said they like the dance 'Mongolian Chopsticks' showing magnificent and powerful youths.

Mei, from Heilongjiang Province, said she had tears while watching the show, "I have danced for more than ten years. I was very touched when seeing the show." She thought the choreographer's creation and backdrops were great and innovative. Another girl, Tracy, said the using chopsticks on stage is very unique and the dancers performed well. It was great.

A Chinese supermarket owner, Mr. Chen and his wife, came to watch the show, "I have been here more than twenty years. It is my first time to see such programs on Chinese culture. All are great!" Both he and his physician wife liked the dancing 'Welcoming Spring'. In addition, he said it was beyond his expectation that the hosts spoke in both Chinese and Spanish, "I thought that Chinese host only can speak Chinese and the Western host can only speak Spanish. But in reality, it is reversed."

Shen Yun Performing Arts will have three shows in Santiago, Chile from July 10 to 12. After that it will go to Cordoba, the second largest city in Argentina and conduct the final three shows in South America from July 16 to 18.
