Folks from My Hometown: 'It's Just So Miraculous'

I'm a resident of Changsha City. When I went back to my hometown in Shuangfeng County, Hubei Province during the traditional Tomb-Sweeping Day (Qing Ming Day), the townspeople and I witnessed the miracle of Falun Dafa.

On the morning of April 5, while chatting with my cousin at his home, I inquired about the elderly Ms. Cao who lived next door. My cousin replied that Ms. Cao was in terrible health. Not only was she paralyzed, but for the past 6 months one of her eyelids drooped and covered her eye. A thought came to me: I have not clarified the truth to Ms. Cao.

I hurried to Ms. Cao's home. Both her daughter and daughter-in-law were there. I told them about how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) tramples freedom of religion and persecutes Falun Dafa practitioners. I also told them about a popular saying that has been circulating: "Quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, and you will be blessed." The CCP has committed so many terrible acts, including persecuting good, innocent Falun Dafa practitioners and killing 80 million Chinese in the many political movements over the past several decades. If humankind does not do something about it, heaven will. Only by quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations can you avoid disaster.

After listening to what I had to say, Ms. Cao's daughter and daughter-in-law said that they wanted to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Ms. Cao also said, "I, too, used to belong to the Young Pioneers. Hurry up and help me quit." I told Ms. Cao to recite sincerely, "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good," and that doing so would greatly improve her physical and emotional health. There have been countless accounts of people overcoming difficult illnesses by reciting these words. It also works when family members recite these words together. Ms. Cao's daughter and daughter-in-law care very much for Ms. Cao, and they also believed what I said, so they started reciting the words sincerely and loudly.

Before I returned to Changsha, I went to Ms. Cao's home to say goodbye. As soon as I walked in, Ms. Cao grabbed me by the hands and thanked me, exclaiming, "I can see, I can open my eyes." I took a look, and indeed her eyes were completely normal. Dafa is really miraculous.

The word spread, and folks in my hometown came over and said, "It's just so miraculous!" They were deeply moved by the magnificent power of Falun Dafa, and they were all willing to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. In a short while, Ms. Cao's grandson, granddaughter, and two relatives quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. My cousin and his wife, who were hesitant at first, also withdrew. Those folks took all the truth-clarification CDs that I had brought with me for the trip.

Mouth No Longer Droops after Understanding the Truth

The CCP is a totalitarian regime that forces its people to be in total agreement with the Party and the government. A cadre in a village in Tang County, Hebei Province, was one of those deeply poisoned by the CCP and actively cooperated with the Party in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners, including removing truth-clarification posters and messages. He suffered from an affliction that caused his mouth to droop. He visited many different hospitals for medical treatment, but to no avail. He had difficulty speaking, eating, and drinking. He wore a mask when he went out for fear of being ridiculed. He suffered a lot because of this affliction.

A practitioner visited him in the spring of 2008 and saw his condition. The practitioner wondered if he had done something bad with regard to Falun Dafa and discovered that the cadre indeed had. The practitioner took the opportunity to clarify the truth to the man and told him that Falun Dafa's truth-clarification messages could save people, that he had committed a sin against Falun Dafa when he removed a Falun Dafa poster, and that he was receiving karmic retribution for doing it. The practitioner also explained to him that good and bad would be rewarded accordingly, and that he would be blessed for being compassionate to Falun Dafa.

After listening to the practitioner's explanation, the cadre immediately wrote a repentance statement. His family members also came to understand the truth and quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

Several days later, the cadre's eyes, mouth, and face returned to normal. He and his wife were very pleased. His wife worried for him and said to him, "From now on if anyone asks you to remove [Falun Dafa posters], just tell them that you did not see them."
