(Clearwisdom.net) On February 4, 2008, police from Shibei District Department arrested Mr. Xu Zhifeng in Qingdao City, Shandong Province. He was tortured in the Ningxia Street Police Station, and later detained in the Dashan Detention Center (also called the Qingdao City First Detention Center). He lost his eyesight during detention as a result of being brutally mistreated. The Shibei District Court sentenced him to three years in prison with four extra years of probation on March 23, 2009.
