(Clearwisdom.net) I once met a middle-aged woman from the south who had fled to the north. Her clothes were very shabby and she was begging for money. I suddenly realized that she and I probably had a predestined relationship that might have been arranged by Teacher.

I gave her five yuan and asked her where she was from. She tearfully told me that she had come from the south and that her hometown had been hit by a disaster. The folks there had not received any support from the government and they were too poor to survive. Their houses had collapsed and they did not have anywhere to stay. They had to flee if they wanted to survive and many other people had come along with her.

I then told her about the corruption of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) and that the government does not care about the people at all. I also told her about the persecution of Falun Gong and about the movement of quitting the CCP. She said: "I am a peasant and never went to school. I have never joined any political group either." I then told her to say "Falun Dafa is good" and that it would save her if disaster strikes again. She nodded her head in understanding.

I suddenly noticed that she had started to cry. She asked me to repeat the phrase to her several times and she kept saying: "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is good!" She then told me that she knew someone who could read and write and wanted me to write down the characters so she could teach this person to say it, too. I asked to borrow a pen from a nearby grocery store and wrote down the phrase. She was still saying loudly, "Falun Dafa is good!"

To my surprise, she suddenly took my hands and said, "Thank you! Thank you! I met a Buddha today." I realized that she had the deep wish to be saved. She said, "When I get back to the others, I will definitely let them know that 'Falun Dafa is good.'"
