(Clearwisdom.net) I am an elderly practitioner, and at this final state of Fa rectification, I understand very deeply that Dafa's requirement for practitioners is growing higher and higher. Although I was not well educated, and I was weak in enlightenment quality, I have always wanted to write something about my cultivation. This universal principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance has not only enlightened my wisdom, but also given me a brand new life.
1. Zhuan Falun brought me back to life
I was introduced to Dafa by a practitioner on December 25, 1996. I had been sick for a long time. I had Hepatitis B, stomach problems, arthritis, knee joint problems, pelvic inflammatory disease, and migraines as well as other illnesses. In October 1996, I was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer. I was very skinny and weighed only 36 kilograms when I had an operation. I was given too much anesthetic and it took me 32 hours to wake up after the operation. My doctor did not think that I would live and asked my family to prepare for my funeral. One month later, I was transferred to a hospital specializing in tumors for chemotherapy. A friend of mine came for a visit and told me," There is a good qigong, why don't you practice it?" I said, "I will learn it after I leave the hospital."
When I started to learn Falun Dafa, I went to a practice site where practitioners taught me the five sets of exercises. I got the book Zhuan Falun later. When I opened the book and saw Master's picture, I could not hold back my tears. Oftentimes, when I was reading the book, my tears just would not stop. Since then, I have sincerely read the Fa and strove to do everything according to what is written in the book. After I practiced and read the book for three months, my body experienced a dramatic change. After the operation, I was unable to move my right hand. After reading Zhuan Falun, I could use my right hand again to cook, wash clothes, and do some light housework. Some of the illnesses which I had suffered from for decades were suddenly gone. My friends and relatives, colleagues, and local people from my neighborhood all witnessed this miraculous change. An old woman near death and her body magically recovered? After this, many people joined me in the journey of cultivation.
2. Keep righteous thoughts and Master will protect you
During my cultivation, I have gone through a lot of difficulties. During the dangerous days, when each day seemed like a year, the 610 Office, the law enforcement service, and the police department came to ransack my home many times. I would sit and send righteous thoughts. One time, 9 policemen came into my home at one o'clock in the morning. They were trying to find and confiscate a laser printer which I had already put away. The police and the 610 Office were unable to find anything. When they started to search my home, my precious book, Zhuan Falun, was right near the phone covered by some newspapers. Although they searched everywhere, they couldn't find anything.
The practitioners in our region covered a large area to clarify the truth, including the village, towns, and the county. The information necessary to do this was very complicated. When the 610 Office police arrested Practitioner A, who had a very strong attachment to fear, and sent Practitioner A to the city brainwashing center, Practitioner A revealed all the information center practitioners in our local area. I escaped and lived a homeless life in the nearby mountains. Later, I went to live at my son's home in the city. During this time, the police from the 610 Office came to look for me several times. I was able to escape because our compassionate, great Master saved me. In September 2007, I went home and the 610 Office came to harass me again. I would send righteous thoughts and I never even moved a bit. My employer told the police, "This lady is very popular in my office because of her kindness. Please leave her alone!" The police left, shamed by their actions.
As practitioners, if we can take the Fa as our teacher and every practitioner removes his or her own attachments, what would dare to test or persecute us? So the most important part of our cultivation practice is the cultivation of ourselves.
3. I was enlightened through sending righteous thoughts
When I began to send righteous thoughts, I had the attitude that I was just completing a task. My mind always went somewhere else, and I was unable to concentrate for very long. Later, I suddenly enlightened during sending righteous thoughts. I thought, "Sending righteous thoughts at four specific times during the day is not just the act of a a single practitioner, it is all the practitioners in the world sending righteous thoughts together. We are all doing the same exact thing." I realized the importance of sending righteous thoughts four times a day as a global coordinated group event that requires every single practitioner to attend.
Every time I was sending righteous thoughts, my heart realized that the purpose of all practitioners sending righteous thoughts was to search out and destroy the evil from everywhere. Every practitioner has his or her own dimensional space and a particular area in the universe that he or she is responsible for. Like during a war, each soldier has his own position to defend and attack. When it's time to send forth global righteous thoughts, if any practitioner does not do it, then his or or her cosmic space and dimensions will be the place for the evil to escape to and hide. Their absence will influence the entire effect of destroying the evil. So sending forth righteous thoughts four times a day is very divine. Being diligent and doing a good job while sending righteous thoughts is a divine act for practitioners. We must accomplish and send righteous thoughts on time, four times a day. Master said,
"Then if every student is able to do that, I can tell you, with five minutes of sending forth righteous thoughts together, the evil in the Three Realms will never exist again--that's how important this is." ("Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.")
4. Experiencing Dafa's miracles
I have had many miraculous experiences since I began to study Falun Dafa. On December 29, 2006, because there are a lot of people in our county that like to travel to the mountains in the morning, I made a plan with a fellow practitioner to display two ten-meter yellow banners on the mountain at midnight. We left home before midnight. It was snowing that day and the snow covered the road so that we couldn't tell the ups and downs in the road. It was very slippery, and we couldn't move fast, but after much effort we had almost reached the top of the mountain. And that is when miracles started to happen. A very bright light appeared in front of us and was helping us to see the way. We were thinking, "Master, you are helping and guiding us again!" Suddenly we saw a very large, deep hole that was dug out of the limestone. It was so deep that if a person fell into it, they would be killed. We felt so touched that Master provided a light and showed us the hole in the road, keeping us safe from danger. After we reached the top of the mountain, we quickly hung the banners on the mountain and safely returned home.
Of course every time we validate Dafa and assist in saving sentient beings, we are under Master's compassionate protection. We cannot do anything without Master's protection. We appreciate Master's compassionate power that saves us.
