(Clearwisdom.net) My wife and I are both new practitioners. We obtained the Fa and started cultivating in 2007. Our personal cultivation is combined with saving sentient beings during the Fa-rectification period. My wife and I often share our experiences in persuading people to do the three withdrawals and clarifying the truth. Today I want to write about and share one of our experiences and understandings with fellow practitioners.

I once heard a story about a person who felt hungry, so he bought a bun and ate it. After eating that bun, he still felt hungry. So he bought a second bun and ate it. After eating that, he didn't feel so hungry, but he still felt that he did not have sufficient sustenance. So he ate a third, fourth, and fifth bun. When he finished eating the fifth bun, he no longer felt any hunger and had had enough. He then thought that if he had known that he wouldn't feel full until he ate the fifth bun, he would simply eat the fifth bun and skip the previous four buns. That way, he could save some money and expend less effort. Everybody knows that is a joke. From the story however, I thought of clarifying the truth and persuading people to do the three withdrawals.

Many of our fellow practitioners are clarifying the truth to the world's people, persuading people to do the three withdrawals, and saving the world's people using various methods, in different environments, and using our own strengths. Some distribute fliers, some put up posters, some clarify the truth face to face, and some use their wisdom to enlighten the world's people's compassionate thoughts. It's possible that due to various reasons, sometimes clarifying the truth and persuading people to do the three withdrawals one time doesn't achieve the expected result, or the truth is not clarified clearly enough the first time and the goal of thoroughly clarifying the truth and persuading people to withdraw is not achieved. However, fellow practitioners' various methods of clarifying the truth give the world's people an initial impression, enlighten their kind thoughts to some extent, and lay a good foundation to save them the next time. The encounters people have with the truth are like the first bun, second bun, etc. When the person comes across a practitioner clarifying the truth to him again, he may be saved.

For example, one time the lighting in our kitchen broke. My wife and I were unable to fix it after working on it for quite some time, so we called a technician who specialized in maintaining small home electrical equipment and asked him for help. My wife then realized that it was very likely that Master was arranging people with predestined relationships to come to be saved. So before the technician came, we sent forth righteous thoughts together to eliminate all the evil factors that may interfere with him. After he came, we directly talked with him about the three withdrawals. I asked him, "Mr. Liu, have you heard of the three withdrawals?" Upon starting the topic, Mr. Liu went on and on talking. He said that he had heard of it many times. When he was maintaining electrical equipment for some families, a couple of older ladies told him about the three withdrawals, and he had also received various materials about the three withdrawals. My wife and I then "sailed with the wind," and with a few words, we helped him do the three withdrawals with no difficulty.

We encountered many similar situations. When we clarified the truth and persuaded people to do the three withdrawals face to face, many people said that they had heard of it. Many people had also received phone calls about the three withdrawals and various kinds of truth clarifying materials. Some other people also talked about the three withdrawals to them face to face. When Mr. Liu left, my wife and I chatted about it. We both thought that fellow practitioners were doing really well. If fellow practitioners had not previously talked about the three withdrawals to the technician, distributed truth clarifying materials to him, and laid a very good foundation for saving him, it may not have been that easy to persuade him do the three withdrawals today.

The major reason that I'm writing this article is to encourage fellow practitioners to be confident about clarifying the truth and persuading people to do the three withdrawals. Don't lose confidence because of failing to achieve the expected goal one time, because the process of our clarifying the truth with various methods is like constantly feeding buns to the world's people. When the person reaches the state of being "full," with his or her conscience awakened, he will naturally be saved. Falun Dafa practitioners are one whole body and the effect we have in saving the world's people is also the manifestation of the effect of the whole body. I remember that Master said:

"Even when in your daily life you pass by people so quickly that you don't have a chance to talk to them, you should still leave them with your compassion and kindness. Don't lose those who should be saved, especially those with predestined connections." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference")

In the process of saving the world's people using various methods, Falun Dafa practitioners are all awakening the world's people's kind thoughts. Even one sentence could leave a deep impression on a person and constantly create opportunities and plant the seeds to save people.
