Prosecuting Those Evildoers Who Participated in the Persecution

December 06, 2009 |   By a practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) We often read on Minghui.org (the Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net) about the high-ranking Chinese Communist Party (CCP) government officials being prosecuted from overseas for their persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. These movements not only serve to support Falun Gong practitioners, but also to send fear to the evil at the same time. This caused me to wonder: can we practitioners from mainland China not do the same from within China and bring lawsuits directly against those evil persons who have actively participated in the persecution?

We are all aware that the Chinese prisons, forced labor camps, detention centers, and public security bureaus have carried out physical, psychological, and financial persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. They have already violated China's laws and severely violated not only the legal rights of citizens, but also the most fundamental human rights. In particular, each year on the so-called sensitive dates, they have arrested and sent large numbers of practitioners to all kinds of brainwashing sessions--"re-education sessions"--to coerce reform and brainwashing through use of physical assault, extortion, blackmail, and imprisonment.

If only practitioners in mainland China could publicly expose the persecution using the legal system. If only we could prosecute those evil persons who are responsible. If only we could report the truth through the media. We could make the entire society aware of the CCP's total defiance of the law in its cruel acts. Make use of your free time for collecting evidence. No matter who it is, if a person participated in wrongdoing, bring charges against him, issue an indictment to take him to court. Would those evil persons still dare to do as they please? Would they still dare to be so arrogant and rampant? Let their every wrongdoing against practitioners turn into their undoing.

Of course the ultimate purpose is not to prosecute those evil persons responsible, but to issue them a warning and to let the people of the world understand the truth and benefit from it. The purpose is even less so than to satisfy our own attachments for conflict and to achieve a certain goal, but for peace and to display the benevolent, harmonious, and glorious side of practitioners to all sentient beings.
