(Clearwisdom.net) (Correspondent from Jilin Province) Police in Yushu City, Jilin Province arrested and harassed many Falun Dafa practitioners in the area the week of September 14-20, 2009.

On the afternoon of September 14, 2009, seven police officers from the Yushu City National Security Division and the Peiying Police Station went to Ms. Wei Yunxia's home and took her away by force. They then went to Mr. Zhang Kui's home, arrested him and his two guests Mr. Yang Fujun and Mr. Fu Decai, who are all practitioners, and put them in a detention center. Later they went to the homes of Liu Shihua and Ms. Man Shuijie to harass them, and confiscated Falun Dafa books. Sources said that one of the police officers posed as former chief of the National Security Division, Zhang Deqing.

At 7:00 p.m. on September 15, officer Li Jianfeng from the Huachang Police Station, under the Yushu Public Security Bureau led Fan Hongkai, chief of the National Security Division, and three other officers to pay a surprise visit to Ms. Jin Shuying's home. They took her away by force and detained her in a detention center. They also confiscated Ms. Jin's Falun Dafa books.

At 7:00 p.m. on September 17, Shi Hailin, an officer from the Yushu City National Security Division, led four policemen to visit Liu Fengming. Liu was not home at the time, and escaped arrest. The police then went to Mr. Zhao Dachun's home, arrested him and put him in a detention center. At 9:00 p.m. the officers went to the home of Ms. Wang Xiuqin, a retired school teacher. They arrested her and put her in a detention center.

On September 19, Shi Hailin, from the Yushu City National Security Division led other officers to Huzhu Village, Wukeshu Town to arrest Mr. Zhao Ximing, but he was not at home. The police ransacked Mr. Zhao's home and took his copy of the book Zhuan Falun and a photo of the founder of Falun Gong. The police then drove to an asbestos tile factory in Liaocheng and arrested Zhao Ximing, who was at work. Mr. Zhao is now being detained in the Yushu City Detention Center.

On September 20, officers from the Yushu National Security Division drove to Zhengyi Village in Wukeshu Town to arrest Ms. Li Xiuying, but she was not home. They then went to a rental property where Ms. Li's two middle school sons lived. They arrested Ms. Li and her guest Li Xiangyun, and put them in the Yushu City Detention Center.
