Cases of Immediate Retribution in Gaozhou City, Guangdong Province

September 05, 2008 |

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' note: In both Western and Chinese cultures, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward acts that are in harmony with this principle, while doing things such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

The evil deeds committed by the officials in Gaozhou City, Guangdong Province as they they have persecuted of Falun Gong have resulted, for many of them, in retribution. The following officials were actively involved in and responsible for many instances of persecution against local Falun Gong practitioners:

1. Guang Liang was Party secretary of the Nanhu District in Gaozhou City. He died suddenly on the way home from drinking in 2004.

2. Zhang Yuqi, associate party secretary of Nanhu District in Gaozhou City, died of liver cancer in late 2004.

3. Liang Feng, neighborhood director in the Nanhu District in Gaozhou City, died of a terminal illnesses in April 2008.

4. Zhan Jie, associate head of section No. 1 of the Gaozhou City Public Security Department, was attacked by thugs while out one night. He needed hospitalization. He detained and sent dozens of practitioners to forced labor camps and brainwashing centers during 2001.

5. Liu Guiwen, a 30-year-old police officer from Beiguan Police Station, died of liver cancer in 2003.

For their own good, we would like to encourage the government officials and police officers still committing evil deeds to stop persecuting practitioners, and instead treat practitioners with kindness.
