(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioners have walked the path of resisting the persecution, one that is filled with various kinds of hardships and events. Practitioners have improved and achieved maturity in cultivation as a whole. They have become increasingly clear minded when it comes to understanding the Fa and are doing the three things well, as required by Teacher. However, according to my cultivation experience and that of some fellow practitioners in my area, we are not doing well enough or conducting ourselves as true cultivators due to interference from various factors and human attachments. This is especially the case for those who have been doing the three things consistently, but are not aware of and do not pay attention to some issues in their daily truth clarification work. Gradually, a gap has developed between the practitioners' status and the requirements of the Fa. The longer this state exists, the more this gap will increase and develop into serious problems.

This issue does not mean that we are doing worse; instead, it results from the lack of measuring everything against the Fa in our daily cultivation, and the absence of looking inward to determine whether our behavior meets the requirements of the Fa in the various stages of Fa-rectification. We tend to think, "I am studying the Fa, sending forth righteous thoughts, and doing truth clarification work daily. Therefore, I am cultivating myself diligently." At the same time, we are ignoring the fact that, along with the progress of Fa-rectification and advancement of our cultivation levels, the requirements of the Fa are becoming higher. Particularly for veteran practitioners, the responsibilities are greater than for the others, and our state as a whole may directly affect the overall situation in assisting Teacher in the Fa-rectification. Are we living up to the requirements in the teaching:

"Study the Fa and gain the Fa,
Focus on how you study and cultivate,
Let each and every thing be measured against the Fa.
Only then, with that, is it actually cultivation."("Solid Cultivation" from Hong Yin)

Are we truly grasping each and every minute to study the Fa? Are you in the state of true tranquility while sending forth righteous thoughts? Are we seizing every opportunity to clarify the truth and save sentient beings? From my understanding, practitioners are not just validating the Fa while doing the three things. We are validating the Fa in each and every thing we do in our daily lives. In our routine lives, only when we measure everything against the Fa, will people believe us and enable us to assist Teacher in the Fa-rectification and saving sentient beings. Only when we study the Fa well, can we enlighten to the requirements of the Fa and do better. Teacher is waiting and hoping that we improve faster as a whole.

I think that as practitioners, we should remind ourselves constantly to measure our every action against the Fa, correct our paths accordingly, and walk the last portion of our path well. This is only my personal understanding. Fellow practitioners, please point out anything inappropriate.
