(Clearwisdom.net) During the cosmic historical Fa rectification drama, Master has bestowed upon us the title of "Fa Rectification Dafa Disciple" to play a leading role in Fa rectification. I will share my understanding on how we can play a leading role, not just a supporting role, in these situations.
Recently in Longgang District, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, Northern precinct officials, who had not awakened to the truth, intensified the persecution of Dafa disciples. They identified the key practitioners in the area and introduced a system of monitoring. Surveillance was carried out on a 24- hour-a-day basis. All telephone calls to relatives and friends and any forms of communication or contact were strictly monitored. Friends and relatives were threatened and forced to cooperate in the surveillance. Practitioners were not allowed to go out. Relatives and friends were pressured to disclose private information about out of town practitioners' employers, addresses and phone numbers. Every day they would initiate several calls or send someone to check and verify if the practitioners were at home. Even the village head was forced to patrol the area throughout the night. The disturbance caused the dogs to bark non-stop at night, as if in fear of an enemy attack.
Facing these officials, out of benevolence and compassion, the local practitioners sent forth strong righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors affecting them, followed by boldly clarifying the truth, pointing out the fact that the surveillance was against the law as well as against the constitution; the actions were illegal and criminal. They explicitly told the officials that information about employers of out-of-town practitioners, their addresses and phone numbers were personal and confidential information, which cannot be disclosed. Disclosing them would equate to breaking the law and becoming an accomplice in breaking the law. They added, "When heaven extinguishes Chinese Communist Party and the final day for justice arrives, we do not wish to see you harmed because of your mistake. It is our responsibility to tell you to withdraw from the "three levels of association" with the Communist party to save yourselves. Helping you to commit crimes is not our responsibility."
Several of the officials' evil thoughts reduced greatly. One of them said: "I also know that persecuting Falun Gong is illegal, and that Falun Gong practitioners do not do bad things." He also complained that the "Olympic Games" had created sleepless nights for everyone--that they were carrying out orders from higher up and they had little choice but to carry out the orders.
The following is another example of righteous thoughts and righteous actions in taking a leading role. One day, five practitioners went to visit a fellow practitioner in prison using their real identities. There was an evil prison rule stipulating that practitioners of Falun Gong were not allowed to visit. At first the guards came up to the practitioners and asked if they practiced Falun Gong. Two of the visitors said that they do. They were refused a visit right away. Two others avoided the questions and evaded answering. The remaining practitioner questioned the guards and asked who made this rule. The guard answered that it was one of the jail's stipulations.
The practitioners then seriously informed the guard that "the stipulation was illegal, it violated the constitution as well as the law, whoever makes the stipulation should take full responsibility. Whoever carried out this stipulation should also shoulder the responsibility." The practitioner sternly warned the prison guard with his strong righteous thoughts. The prison guard did not say a word; he turned around and walked away. After a while the same prison guard returned to inform the practitioners that he reported their conversation to his superior and got permission to allow one person to visit. Dafa practitioners' righteous thoughts had disintegrated the evil prison rule; this was a special breakthrough.
It is my personal understanding that during this historical drama's final stage, we must walk our path with righteousness and play a leading role. If we aim to play the leading role well, we can definitely play it well.
