(Clearwisdom.net) A colleague of mine, a man now in his 70s, worked for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime for decades. He was recently arrested and imprisoned simply because he wrote a few words on a wall.
His name is Wang Jingxiao. He is a retired official from Linshu Communist Party Committee in Shandong Province. He was a section head at the administrative level. To have achieved that level is a dream for most people. Mr. Wang was a well-known figure in the county in the early 90s. Later, he started to practice Falun Gong. He would tell everyone he met about how good Falun Gong is, and I was quite touched by his enthusiasm. Gradually, I also gained a deeper understanding about the practice. I heard that simply because he wrote the words "Falun Dafa is good" on a wall, he was reported and arrested. I was really shocked by this news.
In China today, to welcome the Olympics to Beijing, the Communist regime has initiated a campaign to seek out, crack down on and eliminate, what the regime has labeled "unstable elements." Linshu County Party Committee officials ordered the 610 Office to hire street workers and the security personnel of each work place and to pay them 400 yuan per month to patrol the streets every day, looking for any "unstable elements." If they see anyone writing "Falun Dafa is good," they must report this immediately. It said that the person who reported Wang was praised and even offered a bonus.
Immediately after Mr. Wang was locked up, the 610 Office unlawfully searched his house and found some copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. At the beginning of March, the Procuratorate announced the arrest Mr. Wang for possessing the Nine Commentaries. Here I would like to ask this question: Is it going against the Chinese nation to point out the crimes committed by the CCP? How can the CCP be equated to the nation of China, a nation with 5000 years of history behind her? What a joke! Every sentence in the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party is the truth and it exposes the true nature of the CCP. I would say that exposing the crimes committed by the Communist regime against the Chinese nation and her people is, in fact, an act of patriotism.
Officials are demanding that Mr. Wang tell them where he got the copies of the Nine Commentaries. The CCP is notorious for the cruel means used in extorting a confession through torture. I cannot even imagine what horrible torture this man in his 70s is going through. It saddens me greatly to even think about it.
Well-heeled Communist officials say things like, "The Communist Party has provided for Wang, and it has provided him with what he eats and drinks, but now he refuses to listen to what the Party says and is even acting against it." Such remarks really upset me. The Communist regime treats its own members like dogs. I would like to ask these officials: Who is it that has provided for the Party? And who has provided the Party with what it eats and drinks? Hasn't it always been the people? So why doesn't the Party listen to the people? Why does the Party deprive people of the freedom of speech? The Communist regime is very skillful at double-dealing. How can it torture this old man, all the while shouting "social harmony"?
What we see here is a sad caricature of China, presenting a miserable Olympics, propped up with artificial "flowers and stability." The false wealth that is on display was actually created out of the blood, sweat and tears of the Chinese people. Where is the heart of conscience and justice to be found in China? They have been locked up in detention centers, in jails. These days in China, the people with noble consciences are locked up and tortured in jails.
