(Clearwisdom.net) On April 7, the Divine Performing Arts held the first show of the Chinese Spectacular in Brisbane, Australia, at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Center.

Dr. Bui, a leader of the local Vietnamese community, came to the show with his wife. They had enjoyed the Spectacular last year. This year, Dr. Bui said: "It is splendid! It demonstrates the rich culture of China. There are lots of new performances compared to the one last year. It is a great show of Chinese culture and beliefs."

Dr. Bui was impressed by the drum dances and "The Story of Yue Fei." He was also deeply moved by "The Risen Lotus Flower." "The story reminds people about the human rights situation in China today. We enjoy freedom in Australia, but we should not forget the human rights violations in other places in the world," he said.

Rose Chi, a Chinese teacher, was deeply impressed by the show last year, so she drove 100 kilometers to Brisbane this year with several friends.

Ms. Chi's friends were amazed by the show. "The Westerners in the audience were enthralled. They hope the show will be held here every year. It is a precious opportunity to enjoy Chinese culture," she said.

According to Ms. Chi, Chinese culture has been ruined by the Communist Party. "It is amazing to see such a great show in modern times. My friends and I hope to see it every year."

As a Chinese person, she is proud of the show. "The traditional dances and beautiful costumes helped my Western friends learn about our 5,000-year-old beautiful culture. I am very proud of it," she said.

Anne, a Chinese immigrant from Liaoning Province, came to the show with her husband, Bob Gallasher.

Anne was happy to see the presentation of genuine Chinese culture in Australia. She thought that every dance was excellent. "Water sleeves" and the fan dances were her favorites. Her husband was amazed by the "Mongolian Bowl Dance." "The performers are very professional. The show is great," he said.
