(Clearwisdom.net) On February 3, 2008, the Chinese New Year Splendor staged two performances at Radio City Music Hall in New York. Many artists were in attendance and were generous with their praise for the show and the costumes, music, dances, and singers.

Voice Teacher: "The singers are all outstanding"
Ms. Ingrid Zeldin is a voice teacher at the Manhattan School of Music. She came to the show and brought her friend, Mr. Bob Kaufman. During the intermission, they told a journalist that they thought that every performance was beautiful.

Ms. Zeldin has taught voice at the Manhattan School of Music for seven years. She used to teach at Nyack College and SUNY Fredonia. Before she became a teacher, she was an opera singer for 25 years. This was her first time to see a show by the Divine Performing Arts She said, "The performances were beautiful. The scenery was simply breathtaking!"
Her favorite performances were "Creation," "Nymphs of the Sea," and "The Fruits of Goodness." She said, "The programs were just exquisite. I enjoyed the costumes, the music, and how the dancers were in perfect unison."
Ms. Zeldin also commented on the vocalists in the Splendor, "The singers were outstanding. Wonderfully fine voices, especially the tenor Hong Ming."
She said she plans to return for next year's show.
Lawyer: "Everyone should see the Divine Performing Arts' Splendor"
Mr. Bob Kaufman is a partner in a Manhattan law firm. He used to work for the US Justice Bureau in the Anti-Monopoly Department. Mr. Kaufman thought all the dances were outstanding. "The movements were so pretty! Absolutely spectacular!" He said he has seen many shows, but the Divine Performing Arts' show was very different. It was a new culture to him.
Mr. Kaufman said, "Everyone should see the Divine Performing Arts' Splendor, it is an experience of a different culture!"
Painter and sculptor: "I'm so glad I came"

Manhattan painter and sculptor Mr. Antonio Montenegro said during the intermission, "I am so grateful to the lady who sold me the ticket. I am glad that I am here to see this show. I think it is fantastic."
He mentioned his favorite performances "The Risen Lotus Flower," "Drummers of the Tang Court," and all the singing. "Every program is wonderful. I can't wait for the next half."
He added, "I went to Hong Kong once and feel drawn to things that are Chinese. The Splendor used bright colors, simply breathtaking! The scenery and the stage blended perfectly."
He said with great enthusiasm, "I think everyone should see this show, because it is so beautiful. I hope they can tour more places. The show teaches us about Chinese culture, ancient legends, and freedom. So wonderful! I am so glad that I came. I will tell others to come to this show."
An appreciative musician
Ms. Susan Barrett is a musician who plays the Japanese drums. She came with her husband, John Barrett. She said, "I really liked the show. I loved the drums, the dances, and the singers. I liked every part of this show. Everything was very beautiful."
