February 02, 2008 |   By a Clearwisdom reporter

(Clearwisdom.net) The Divine Performing Arts presented three shows at the Arie Crown Theater in Chicago, and many in the audience had high praise.

Feruca, who is originally from Russia and is a project manager by profession, attended the show with her son, Amir.

When the reporter asked for their impressions of the show, Amir said: "Yes, I liked at the end when they played the drums, and when the women were holding the cups on their heads."

Feruca said, "That was amazing! That was just spectacular. The name matches the show, I liked it very much, I just loved it! We are actually from Russia and we are in America for just about a year now." "Now he knows more about Chinese culture and Chinese tradition, it was just beautiful."

She continued, "He said, 'Mom it looks just like a fairy tale of Cinderella, with the costumes.' He didn't want to come when I bought the ticket, but now he was just so excited and gave me a big hug and kiss and said, 'Mom thank you so much!'"

Paula, a Chinese lady, a former accountant by profession and now retired, said: "It's a really good show. It's really interesting, lots of Chinese stories which I understand, so it's really good." "The singing is good, the voices and dances are very nice. The costumes are very colorful and beautiful, and the background is very nice."

Her husband also enjoyed the show.
