The Asian American Festival tradition started in 2004. Practitioners from Dallas have attended this festival before. They performed Chinese dances and demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. Many people asked for more detailed information about the practice. Practitioners also took this opportunity to promote the Divine Performing Arts' upcoming shows in Dallas. Several people told practitioners that they had already booked tickets for the show.
