(Clearwisdom.net) My colleague Ms. Zhao (a practitioner) has frequently discussed Falun Gong with me. She also gave me a little booklet that debunks the propaganda that the Chinese government spreads about Falun Gong. However, I had doubts about the miraculous healing effects of reciting "Falun Dafa is good."
She told me that her auntie (who is seventy-nine years old this year and lives in a village in Liaoxi City) was diagnosed with lung cancer last year. At the time of her diagnosis, the major hospitals determined her disease to be the late stages of lung cancer. The doctor told the patient's family members that she could live for at most six more months, and told them to prepare for her funeral. The miracle was that after her auntie started to recite "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good," the symptoms of her lung cancer disappeared. A few days ago, Ms. Zhao went to attend the wedding of her cousin's son. She met her auntie there and saw that she was very jovial and followed the guests clapping. I was moved by her story and I wanted to see for myself. Ms. Zhao happily agreed.
Last Sunday, Ms. Zhao and I went to her auntie's house.
We pushed open the door and entered the yard. An elderly lady with grey white hair, looking very spirited and energetic, walked out of the house towards us with steady steps. She welcomed us warmly and gestured for us to come into the house. She did not look like a patient in the late stage of cancer to me. When we congratulated her on her good health, she opened the topic and said, "It is all thanks to my niece (pointing to Ms. Zhao) who taught me to recite "Falun Dafa is good." In one month's time, I've recovered from my illness. This is all due to the good fortune brought by Falun Gong. It is Master Li who has saved me. If not, I would have been long gone."
I interrupted her and asked her with a doubtful attitude, "Auntie, do you take medicine frequently?" She sighed and said, "Sigh! It is such a bother. I have this problem with medicine. Once I take any medicine, I start to have rashes on my skin. The doctor told me that it's an allergic reaction to medicine and thus I dare not take any." The old lady quietly continued in a confiding manner, "Don't you think it's strange? In the past I was full of anger. Ever since I learned that Falun Dafa is good, each time I am unhappy, I recite "Falun Dafa is good." Then my anger goes away. In the past my grandchildren frequently bickered with one another and had friction amongst themselves. I also told them to recite "Falun Dafa is good." The friction among them has reduced and the whole family is more harmonious." She continued to share many incidents with me. Every sentence and incident that she recounted was related to how Falun Dafa is good. I felt that Falun Dafa has taken root, flowered and borne fruit in the old lady's heart.
From the happiness and good fortune that Falun Dafa has brought to this elderly lady, I deeply felt the wonderfulness of Falun Dafa. I must quickly tell my own mother about these "life-saving" words.
