My Non-Practitioner Mom Persuades People To Renounce Their CCP Membership

October 12, 2008 |   By a practitioner from Harbin City

(Clearwisdom.net) My mother is now seventy-five years old. She has never attended school and has toiled her whole life. She did not join any CCP organizations. During the nine years since the CCP began to persecute Falun Gong, my mother has suffered greatly, worrying about my safety and being under much emotional pressure. During her long life, she has lived through and suffered under many of the CCP's evil "movements" and she was inspired by my example and that of the practitioners around her. We patiently explained the truth to her, thus she came to understand Falun Gong and the persecution being carried out by the CCP. Consequently, she has frequently helped us to clarify the truth to my relatives and friends and urged them to renounce their membership to the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

This July, my mother made use of the opportunity presented to her while visiting our neighbors to clarify the truth about Falun Gong and urged a dozen people to renounce their CCP membership. She did this on her own, out of her own heart. When someone who is not a Falun Gong practitioner urges people to renounce their CCP membership, they are at an advantage. First, they are able to communicate more openly, as the other party, knowing that they are not a practitioner, will not be so cautious and wary. Second, their thinking is still at an ordinary person's level and thus they are able to relate to one another better; the non-practitioner will not say things at too high a level that might turn the other party away. Third, they have more things in common and are thus able to better build a rapport and quickly reach an understanding. Currently, my second oldest brother, who knows the truth about Falun Gong, has also started to clarify the truth and urge people to renounce their CCP membership. Yesterday, he managed to use the chance presented by a gathering with friends and successfully persuaded one person to renounce his CCP membership. We should encourage our families and relatives to join in and urge people to renounce their CCP membership.
