This article reports on the persecution of 26 practitioners detained by the police and 20 practitioners arrested in 11 provinces and 23 counties.
1. [Hailin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wei Yucai Arrested
Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wei Yucai is 50 years old and employed by the Hengdao Railroad Company, Hailin City. On September 7, 2007, he was illegally arrested on the train going from Mudanjiang City to Harbin City by the railroad police and taken to the Yabuli Railroad Police Station. He has been transferred to the Mudanjiang City Railroad Police Department.
From 2000 to 2002, Wei Yucai was detained in the Mudanjiang City Railroad Police's Detention Center for 15 days. His younger sister, Wei Liping, was sentenced to five years of imprisonment.
2. [Nenjiang County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Hui and Other Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Liu Hui, a practitioner from the Qixingbao Farm in Nenjiang County, Heilongjiang Province, and another senior female practitioner were distributing Falun Gong materials on the streets when they were arrested by the local authorities around 10 o'clock on the evening of September 6. They were transferred to, and are being held at, the Jiusanju Detention Center.
3. [Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Shaohua and Ms. Kong Fengying Tortured
On the evening of August 30, Ms. Li Shaohua and Ms. Kong Fengying from Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province were arrested by the local police while they distributed Falun Gong materials. Their homes were ransacked. Currently, Li Shaohua is being detained at the Deqing County Detention Center and Kong Fengying in the Fengkai County Detention Center.
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] The Third Detention Center Currently Detaining Over 20 Practitioners
The Third Detention Center is currently detaining over 20 practitioners, including Ms. Shao Mingying, Ms. Song Xue, Ms. Lu Lan, Ms. Chen Nan, Ms. Li Jing, Ms. Wang Yuhuan, and Ms. Su.
5. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Han Fengying Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Han Fengying from the Wuying District of Yichun City was arrested in 2006 by the Wuying District Police. Her younger brother was arrested at the same time. Han Fengying was sent to Harbin City for further persecution. Her home was ransacked.
6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Senior Practitioner Couple Mr. and Mrs. Jiang from Tiebei of Changchun City Arrested by a Dozen Policemen on September 5, 2007
7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Bi Kefu Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor and Detention at the Wa City Detention Center in September 2007
8. [Shanghai] Practitioner Mr. Xu Chenghua Arrested on September 4, 2007, and His Whereabouts Unknown
9. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Qin Yueling Tried Illegally
On August 24, 2007, practitioner Ms. Qin Yueling from Zhangjiakou City was tried illegally in the Qiaoxi Court of Zhangjiakou City.
10. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Hospital Head Mr. Shi and Doctor Li from 260 Hospital Arrested
In September 2007, practitioners Mr. Shi, head of the Shijiazhuang City's 260 Hospital, and Dr. Li, a medical doctor with the Shijiazhuang City 260 Hospital, were detained and forced to attend brainwashing sessions at the Law Enforcement Education Center of Hebei Province.
11. [ Tanghai County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Xiuyun Arrested
On the morning of September 6, 2007, practitioner Ms. Yang Xiuyun from the fifth team of the No. 9 Farm was arrested by the No.9 Farm's Police. On the morning of September 7, she was sent to the Tangshan City Detention Center. Her home was ransacked.
12. [Chicheng County, Hebei Province] Mr. Wu Zhanhua Arrested
Around 4 o'clock on the morning of September 4, 2007, Mr. Wu Zhanhua was arrested by the local police while he was posting flyers of Falun Gong materials in the Xitaixia Village, Huairou County, Beijing. His whereabouts are unknown. All his Falun Gong books at home were confiscated.
13. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cao Suna Arrested
At noon on October 16, 2006, the police from the Shuidao Town Police Station in the Muping District of Yantai City and the Muping District's National Security Team broke into and ransacked Ms. Cao Suna's home. Ms. Cao Suna was arrested and her Falun Gong materials were confiscated. She was later sent to the Muping District Detention Center.
The Houshuidao Town Police Station extorted 3,000 yuan in cash from Cao Suna's husband and released her afterwards.
14. [Jimo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ren Jing Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor
On the evening of August 22, 2007, Ms. Ren Jin, who was working in Jimo City, was arrested by the police from the Jimo City Development Region's Police Station while she was clarifying the truth of Falun Gong. She was sentenced on September 4 to one year of forced labor and sent to the Shandong Province Second Women's Forced Labor Camp.
15. [Taikang County, Henan Province] Ms. Li Jingzhi Sentenced to Three Years of Imprisonment
On August 18, 2006, Ms. Li Jingzhi from Taikang County, Henan Province, was clarifying the truth of Falun Gong in the Yinzhuang Township of the Xihuaying Town when Yin Xincheng, the janitor of the Yinzhuang Township Elementary School, reported her to the Xihuaying Town Police Station. On November 23, she was sentenced to three years of imprisonment by the Xihua County Court.
16. [Baoji City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Duan Xiaoke and Ms. Li Xiaocui Arrested
On the evening of September 1, 2007, Ms. Duan Xiaoke and Ms. Li Xiaocui from Baoji City, Shanxi Province, were arrested by the policemen from the Shennong Township Police Station, Weibin District, Baoji City when they were clarifying the truth of Falun Gong. They are currently being detained at the Weibin District Detention Center.
17. [Dengzhou City, Henan Province] Pracitioner Ms. Fu Xiuyun Arrested by 610 Office
On September 6, 2007, Ms. Fu Xiuyun and Ms. Liao Shuhua were arrested by the Dengzhou City's 610 Office personnel in Henan Province. On the same morning, Ms. Chen Liying was arrested from home.

18. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Hui Tortured by Personnel from Xinjin Brainwashing Center
In October 2006, practitioner Ms. Liu Hui, over 30 years old and teacher at Paotongshu Elementary School in Chengdu City, was arrested and is being held at the Xinjin Brainwashing Center. When she went on a hunger strike to protest the brainwashing and maltreatment, she was tortured by the brainwashing center staff, who pried open her mouth with a special can opener and force-fed her.
On August 4, 2007, Mr. Chen Shikun was arrested and is currently being detained in the Xinjin Brainwashing Center.
19. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Yi Xiangang Arrested and Sent to Brainwashing Center
On the afternoon of September 3, 2007, practitioner Mr. Yi Xiangang from Ziyang City, Sichuan Province, was arrested by the Yanjiang District's 610 Office of Ziyang City and the local national security bureau. He is currently being detained at the Ererhu Brainwashing Center in the Yanjiang District.
20. [Jianyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tao Suqing and Ms. Su Mei Arrested
In mid-August 2007, practitioners Ms. Tao Suqing and Ms. Su Mei from Yucheng, Jianyang City, Sichuan Province, were arrested and sent to the Ziyang City Brainwashing Center.
21. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Shuhua Arrested
Since April 2007, the police from Leshan City have arrested over 30 practitioners, including Ms. Huang Shuhua and her husband, Mr. Wan Yongguo, in his 70's; Ms. Wu Shuhua, in her 70's; Ms. Zou Yinzhi, nearly 70 years old; Ms. Rao Guorong, nearly 60 years old; Mr. Chen Jiashun; and Ms. Ao Xiurong.
22. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Ms. Duan Chunwei Arrested
On the afternoon of September 7, 2007, practitioner Ms. Duan Chunwei, 26 years old, was arrested near the gate to the Jinchuan District Elementary School and sent to the Jinchuan District Police Department's Xinhua Street Police Station. Afterwards she was transferred to, and is currently being detained at the Jinchang City Detention Center.
23. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Mr. Li Jianjian, Ms. Cao Linying and Others Arrested
On the evening of September 7, 2007, Mr. Li Jianjun, Ms. Cao Linying, and another practitioner were arrested while clarifying the truth of Falun Gong in section 4 of the Xiangyong Coal Mine, which belongs to the Baisha Coal Mine Bureau.
24. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Gong Xingcan Tortured
Practitioner Ms. Gong Xingcan, economist of the Deyang City Post Office in Sichuan Province, was arrested and sent to the Deyang City Brainwashing Center on June 7, 2005. On September 19, 2005, she was sentenced to two years of forced labor and has been detained in the Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong City, Sichuan Province ever since.
