Falun Gong Practitioner Yao Qingfeng in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province Passed Away as a Result of Persecution

Falun Gong practitioner Yao Qingfeng lived in Yutun Village, Niangnianggong Township, Linghai, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. He obtained the Fa in 1996 and benefited in both body and mind from practicing Falun Gong. Many illnesses he suffered disappeared and his family became harmonious. When he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, he was arrested and sent back home by the police.

On January 31, 2002, officers from the Niangnianggong Police Station arrested Yao Qingfeng when he displayed Falun Dafa banners in Cuitun Village. At that time, he was 66 years old. He was brutally tortured in the police station. The police beat his head and lower body with their shoes. After the police fined him 3,000 yuan, he was released.

After going home, Yao Qingfeng was harassed and threatened repeatedly by the police. On March 20, 2003, he passed away at the age of 67.

Officer Ma Zheng of the Ji'an Forestry Bureau in Jilin Province Passed Away as a Result of Persecution

Falun Gong practitioner Ma Zheng was a deputy director at the Ji'an Forestry Bureau in Jilin Province. Because he went to Beijing to validate Dafa in October 2000, he was arrested and sentenced to two years of forced labor. Since he had a serious heart disease, the term was carried out outside of the labor camp.

At the end of 2002, Ma Zheng was turned in to the police, arrested and sent to the Ji'an City Detention Center because he distributed truth-clarifying materials. Ma Zheng resisted the authorities' attempts to force him to give up Falun Gong, so he was brutally tortured, which aggravated his heart disease. At the time, he was critically ill, but the authorities still sentenced him to seven years of imprisonment while he was hospitalized. When his condition worsened, the CCP officials still tried to forcibly take him away. Under his family members' strong protests, he was released on medical parole.

In the following five years, the police kept harassing and threatening him. On July 26, 2007, he died from heart and liver disease. He passed away at the age of 53.
