(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Song Xiaotang, a resident of Shangkuang Village, Tianheng Town in Jimo City, Shandong Province, was arrested by police officers from the Tianheng Station on June, 3, 2007. On the same afternoon, she was taken to Dashan First Detention Center in Qingdao City. Ms. Song held a hunger strike to protest her treatment.

On June 27, 2007, Xu Ke'ai (female), head of the 610 Office, Diao Renke (male), head of the Tianheng Police Station, and officer Sun Dinghui (male) took her to the Fourth Division at the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Song continued her hunger strike and was tortured until she lost consciousness on the ninth day after she arrived at the labor camp. She had to be admitted to a hospital at one point. Although her family asked to visit her several times, their requests were denied. Eventually, Ms. Song's husband and 9 year-old daughter were allowed to visit her. When the little girl saw her mother's miserable condition, her swollen abdomen and deformed appearance, she cried.

The guards at the forced labor camp even asked Ms. Song's husband to pay for the treatment she received at the hospital. Ms. Song said, "You all pushed me and forced me to have injections, you force-fed me in the most brutal way and you tortured me. Now, you want me to pay for that?" Her husband also denied the unreasonable request.
