(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Fan Jianguo from the Zichuan Area of Zibo City, Shandong Province was tried and secretly sentenced by the Zichuan Area Court to four years of imprisonment. His family was unaware of the situation before the trial ended. The entire trial process took place secretly. Mr. Fan's parents both passed away after hearing the news.

Mr. Fan was an employee of the Zichuan Water Company. Before he learned Falun Dafa, he had a fatty liver and possessed a very bad temper. After learning Dafa, his sickness gradually disappeared. He became more diligent in his work and showed more respect for the elderly. This change made a deep impression on his colleagues, family, and friends.

Because Mr. Fan went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa and to clarify the truth, he was fired from his public service position by the company manager, Wang Ling. His home was then searched on November 9, 2006. He was imprisoned in Zichuan District Detention Center.

Mr. Fan's wife has breast cancer and is currently unemployed. His 85-year-old mother suffered from slight hemi-paralysis before ultimately passing away from the emotional pressure of her son's sentence.

The court, controlled by the Chinese Communist Party's 610 Office, repeatedly rejected requests from Mr. Fan's family for him to visit his sick mother. After his mother passed away, the aforementioned authorities refused to allow Mr. Fan to attend her funeral.

Mr. Fan's 84-year-old father had been healthy until he learned of these two shocking events, after which he suffered a fatal cerebral hemorrhage.

This happy family was torn apart by the terrible persecution. At present, Mr. Fan Jianguo may still be imprisoned at Zichuan Prison. The Zichuan Area prosecutor returned the case to the Zichuan Area Police Branch Bureau so that they can continue to investigate the source of truth-clarification material production equipment.
