(Clearwisdom.net) Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners in 1999, the officials and police frequently harassed practitioner Ms. Han Wenmin in the Dagang District of Tianjin City. Ms. Han firmly persisted in her belief and refused to cooperate with the officials. She was illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor. She was later sentenced to forced labor for a second time and is currently held at the Tianjin Women's Labor Camp.

Han Wenmin's pregnant daughter made numerous trips to the Tianjin Women's Labor Camp in the second half of 2006 and requested her mother's release. The camp officials "kicked the ball around" and refused to release her. The daughter went to the Banqiao Forced Labor Division in Dagang District, Tianjin City, the morning of March 15, 2007, when she was close to giving birth. The officials still refused to directly address the issue and scolded the daughter saying, "We are not responsible for anything that happens to you!"

The daughter was hospitalized in the afternoon in preparation for delivery. She was so anxious to get her mother released, however, that she went to the labor division again despite terrible pain and asked for her mother. The guards refused to open the gate. She stood outside in the rain.

Out of fear, Party officials know only to follow orders, even if the order is to bully the innocent and assist evildoers.
