(Clearwisdom.net) The Sanhe Detention Center in Hebei Province is a den of evil where Falun Dafa practitioners are persecuted. So many practitioners have suffered from savage persecution there, and so many unforgivable crimes have been committed there during the past seven years.

The most recent round of arrests began as of February 25, 2006. Officers from the Sanhe City Police Department, from the “610 Office” and from the National Security Bureau arrested more than 20 Falun Dafa practitioners and non-practitioners. Those arrested include married couple Zhou Chuanzhong and Wang Shuhua (both practitioners) and their son Zhou Jia (non-practitioner); Zhang Deli and his second son Zhang Guangliang (non-practitioner), practitioners Ma Weishan, Zhou Zaitian, Bai Yanxia, and Du Fucang.

Practitioners Liu Shujuan, Zhang Zhiping, Tian Fengling and Liu Cuirong were released after one year in a forced labor camp. Nine practitioners, though -- Zhang Deli, Ma Weishan, Zhou Zaitian, Di Wenzhu, Zhou Chuanzhong, Bai Yanxia, Zhang Liancun, Liang Baotian and Du Fucang -- are still being held in the Sanhe Detention Center. Some of them have been detained for over a year. On January 11, 2007, some people in the city's law branches tried to convict these nine practitioners but failed.

1. Three generations of Zhou Chuanzhong's family members suffer arrest and persecution

Around 9:00 a.m. on February 25, 2006, two groups of agents from the Yanjiao Police Precinct set out in six or seven police cars. One group went to a rented house where they confiscated a copy machine and other personal belongings valued at more than 100,000 “yuan” and arrested a non-practitioner surnamed Bai. The other group went to Zhou Chuanzhong's home. They confiscated a PC, a tape player and many other personal items, even a small cotton bed cover for his grandson. Zhou Chuanzhong and his wife Wang Shuhua practice Falun Dafa, but the police even arrested their son, their daughter-in-law and their three-year-old grandson and took them to the police precinct.

2. Zhang Deli and his family members arrested and suffer persecution

Around 8:00 a.m. on February 25, 2006, officers in four police cars arrived at Zhang Deli's home. They also thoroughly searched Mr. Zhang's oldest son's home and his second son's home. They confiscated a TV, DVD player, Dafa books and Master's picture. They arrested Zhang Deli and his second son Zhang Guangliang, not a practitioner. The police beat Zhang Guangliang with a water-filled Sprite bottle on his back, feet and hands in the detention center. Such a beating leaves no surface marks but causes severe internal injuries. Zhang Guangliang is still unable to work, even now, because of the beating. When police were questioned as to why they arrested non-practitioner Zhang Guangliang, they told Mr. Zhang's family that he was implicated because of his father. Zhang Guangliang was held for one month in the detention center.

Zhang Deli's wife Hu Baozhen was not at home when the arrest happened. Later on, police were looking for her everywhere, including their relatives' homes. Plainclothes police agents constantly patrolled in front of Mr. Zhang's home, and his family members were often harassed. Hu Baozhen decided to leave home to avoid further persecution.

Zhang Deli suffered brutal torture in the detention center. In the chilly February weather the guards poured cold water on him and incited the inmates to beat him. His over-70-year-old mother often cried for her son. His elderly father and other family members often went to the detention center and wished to see him but were always refused a visit.

There were “forced brainwashing classes” at the detention center, and inmates assigned to be so-called “educational assistants.” Two inmates were assigned to monitor Zhang Deli. He was forbidden to leave the room and had to make wreaths. The police tried to send him to a forced labor camp, but the camp refused their request. However, the Sanhe Detention Center authorities still refuse to release him.

3. Ma Weishan arrested and taken to the Sanhe Detention Center

Around 8:00 a.m. on February 25, 2006, many police officers rushed into Ma Weishan's home, searched it and arrested Mr. Ma. Police officer Li Liandi took 66-year-old Ma Weishan away and sent him to the Sanhe Detention Center. Ma Weishan protested the “illegal arrest” with a hunger strike. He is not in good condition.

Ma Weishan had been arrested before, on October 26, 1999, and was sentenced to two years of forced labor. He served time at the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp and later in the notorious Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp.

Police officer Li Liandi was from Caigezhuang Village in Yanjiao Town. He was called “smiling tiger,” meaning that he seemed friendly but was indeed vicious. Around 3:30 p.m. on February 28, 2003, Li Liandi and three other police officers passed through Ma Weishan's residential compound. Noticing two cars in the yard, he immediately questioned Mr. Ma's oldest son and stopped by Ma's own home. Seeing other practitioners in Ma Weishan's home, Li Liandi called for reinforcements. Many officers arrived in five or six police cars and thoroughly searched the home. They confiscated a TV, a tape player, other home appliances and all of the Dafa books. Ma Weishan and two practitioners were arrested. The cars in the yard were taken away as well. Yanjiao Police Department head Zan Qingcai was also involved in the search and arrest.

4. Police continue to arrest and persecute practitioners

Di Wenzhou, an engineer employed at the No.1 Metallurgy Bureau, was arrested on March 2, 2006. He has been detained for nearly one year.

Around 8:00 a.m. on March 4, 2006, about 20 or 30 Yanjiao Police Bureau and Sanhe City Political and Security Section agents took Zhou Zaitian to the Sanhe Detention Center. He has been detained there for nearly one year now. According to inside information, former village director Yang He was involved in this arrest.

Around 12:00 p.m. on March 16, 2006, several officers from the Yanjiao Police Precinct and from the No.1 Metallurgy Bureau Police Station, including police station head Wang Hong, arrived at practitioner Guo Zheng's home. Guo Zheng refused to open the door. Three hours later, the police broke the door down and forcibly arrested Guo Zheng. Guo Zheng was released eight months later after having been abused and mistreated until he was on the brink of death.

Around 10:00 a.m. May 26, 2006, police in two vehicles from the Yanjiao Police Precinct arrived at Zhang Liancun's home. They jumped over the wall and broke into Zhang's home. Zhang Liancun was not at home. On July 20, 2006, they went to Pinggezhuang in Shunyi County and arrested Zhang Liancun, who was working there.

On June 29, 2006, agents from the Liangfang City Police Department, from the Yanjiao Police Precinct and the Gaolou Police Station arrested practitioner Liang Baotian. Mr. Liang was from Liujihe Village, Gaolou Town. His home was searched and personal belongings such as a PC and printer were confiscated. Prior to starting cultivation, Liang Baotian had been unable to work because of poor health. In 1998 he attended a nine-day of “Fa” lectures series, and miraculously recovered completely and regained his life. Liang Baotian's own experiences showed people how great Falun Dafa is. However, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) cannot tolerate those who strive to be good people. The nearly 60-year-old man was arrested and taken to the Langfang City Brainwashing Center and later to the Sanhe Detention Center.

On the afternoon of June 29, 2006, practitioner Du Fucang, employed at the Yanjiao Base of the Zhonghai Oil Corporation, was forcibly sent to the Langfang Detention Center. His home and work PC were confiscated. He was compelled to undergo brainwashing. The authorities claimed he would not be released if he refused to be brainwashed. His work place also stated that Mr. Du would be fired if he refused to give up his belief. Du Fucang is still being held in the detention center.

Around 3:30 p.m. on February 27, 2006, six plainclothes police officers arrived in two cars and stopped at the hotel owned by the family of practitioner Ms. Bai Yanxia. Two of these agents pretended to be potential customers. Bai Yanxia was just returning from a food market and was going to prepare food. The two police rushed out to grab her and took her into the hotel. They searched the hotel but didn't find anything. They were going to take Bai Yanxia to the police department, but Ms. Bai and her family members reasoned with them. Two hours later, Bai Yanxia managed to escape. Around 12:00 p.m. on June 29, 2006, a mere three days after Bai Yanxia's return home, she was arrested at the family's hotel. The police searched the hotel again, as well as her home. They confiscated a tape player, Master's picture and other items. Bai Yanxia was first detained at the city detention center and was later transferred to the Langfang Brainwashing Center. She is still detained there now.

At 9:30 a.m. on November 9, 2006, officers from the Sanhe Police Department, the 610 Office and from the No.1 Metallurgy Bureau Police Station, including police station head Wang Hong, arrived at the Jingri Company to arrest practitioner Zhang Yanming. Zhang Yanming kept “clarifying the truth” to them, to no avail. At 1:40 p.m. they sent Zhang Yanming under force to the Langfang Brainwashing Center. Later on, four or five police officers led by Wang Hong came to Zhang Yanming's home. They searched it and took away a desktop PC. Zhang Yanming's whereabouts are unknown.

Practitioners Ma Weishan, Zhou Chuanzhong and Zhang Deli have been gone for over a year. Zhou Zaitian and Di Wenzhu have been detained for nearly one year. Practitioners Bai Yanxia, Du Fucang, Liang Baotian and Zhang Liancun were arrested over eight months ago. They were sent to the Sanhe Detention Center, the Langfang Brainwashing Center and Xianghe to endure brainwashing, but these efforts to make them renounce Falun Dafa failed. They were eventually sent back to the Sanhe Detention Center.

Since September 2006, several agents in the Sanhe City law branch offices have tried to sentence these practitioners. On January 11, 2007, they held a trial of all nine practitioners. Many police officers were stationed inside and outside the courtroom. The practitioners denied all of the false charges against them. The court session, lasting from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., ended in a mistrial.

We are calling on international organizations, human rights organizations and people of conscience to pay attention to these incidents and to help stop the persecution of kind people. We hope that the local practitioners will clarify the truth to these practitioners' family members and to the local public. We encourage all to help the family members reason with personnel in the relevant agencies on behalf of their loved ones, and to expose and stop the perpetrators and their evil conduct.

(Clearwisdom.net) Baimalong Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province is one of the key centers where a lot of Falun Gong practitioners are "illegally imprisoned." Every practitioner imprisoned there is subjected to both mental and physical tortures. The following are stories of how several practitioners I know were persecuted to death.

Ms. Cao Jianzhen, 50 years old, was a farmer in the Ruanjiang of Hunan Province. She weighed 62 kilograms (137 pounds) when she was first taken to the forced labor camp and imprisoned there. After suffering numerous tortures, she weighed only 47 kilograms (104 pounds). The guards, led by Guard Xiao, frequently beat and kicked Ms. Cao, and broke three of her ribs and injured some of her internal organs. As a result of the torture, she vomited pus and blood. When she was unable to eat, the guards dragged her off to be force-fed. In addition, they attempted to brainwash her by forcing her to watch slanderous videotapes against Dafa. Ms. Cao was so injured that she could not sit up or stand. Once she lay down she could not get up. She was taken back to her hometown when the authorities found out she was dying. Ms. Cao Jianzhen died soon after she was taken home.

Ms. Zuo Shuchun, 38 years old, was from Changsha City, Hunan Province. When she was first imprisoned at the forced labor camp, seventeen guards tortured her with the "hanging up in the air" torture. As soon as she moved slightly, she experienced severe physical pain. If she cried out, they would tape her mouth and nose and then use electric batons to shock her whole body. One day, they took Ms. Zuo out and force-fed her. Soon after, we saw a bunch of guards and some drug-addict inmates quickly carrying a person out, who was entirely wrapped up in a blanket, including the head. Later I learned that Ms. Zuo had died during the brutal force-feeding.

Ms. Cao Sanyuan, in her fifties, was a lecturer at Hunan Teachers' College. During her imprisonment at Baimalong Forced Labor Camp, the guards shocked her with electric batons, handcuffed her, put her in small cells many times, and hung her up and beat her. They force-fed Ms. Cao so cruelly that her nose often bled and finally she collapsed mentally. Ms. Cao Sanyuan died soon after she was taken home.

Ms. Peng Meiren, who was in her fifties and from North Zhen Street of Ningxiang County, Hunan Province was a retired worker at the County Meat Plant. After suffering brutal persecution and forced brainwashing, she died soon after returning home.

Ms. Li Rong was nearly seventy years old. Ever since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, Ms. Li has been constantly persecuted. She previously suffered from many illnesses and nearly died before she started practicing Falun Gong. But her illnesses all disappeared and she became a healthy person again after beginning her practice. Ms. Li was illegally imprisoned twice in a forced labor camp, and altogether she spent over four years at the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp. After that, she was under house arrest in the countryside for almost two years. The authorities withheld her entire pension, so Li Rong did not have any income. No one knows her whereabouts now. During her imprisonment at the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp, the authorities tortured her with various means, including shocking her with electric batons, hanging her up in the air, clamping her mouth with fire tongs, and stuffing her mouth and throat with dirty rags. They beat her, shook her, and broke three of her teeth. Using the torture of "hanging up in the air" for an extended period of time, they nearly suffocated and killed Ms. Li. The guards struck her foot and nearly broke her foot in half. They forced her to sit on the tiger bench and shackled her in a painful posture all day long. They shocked her with electric batons and then dragged her out under the sun in the scorching heat of summer or in the freezing wind in winter. The "monitors" constantly watched Ms. Li, stopping her from either doing the Falun Gong exercises or reciting Dafa teachings. They grabbed her head and smashed it against the wall whenever they pleased. They brutally tortured Li Rong by punching her and stomping on her.

Zhang Lihua, a drug addict around thirty years of age, was an especially vicious woman at the forced labor camp. Under the instruction of the authorities, she injured numerous Falun Dafa practitioners at the forced labor camp. Good is rewarded and evil is punished. Later I was told that she suffered two kinds of cancers, became very emaciated, and was no longer as active in the persecution.

The above persecution stories are what I personally witnessed at Baimalong Forced Labor Camp. Because of the physical and mental persecution, I cannot accurately recall the time and further details of these facts or write about the persecution of many other Falun Dafa practitioners.

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners Xi Zhaojun and Zhang Decai were clarifying the truth in Gaojiagou Village, Mandetang Township, Kangbao County on February 24, 2007. The village Party secretary, Feng Quan, saw them and threatened to call the police. The practitioners clarified the truth to him and warned him that persecuting practitioners would bring him karmic retribution. Feng Quan said, "I am not afraid of retribution."

Soon after the two practitioners left the village, a car pulled up to them. Two township police officers and Party secretary Feng Quan and the driver started punching Mr. Xi Zhaojun. They tied him up with a rope and savagely beat him for about 40 minutes.

After two hours, a vehicle from the Kangbao County Police Department arrived. Some police officers took the two practitioners to the police department. They handcuffed the practitioners, and one officer kicked practitioner Zhang Decai until he fell to the ground. The officers stripped both practitioners naked and brutally beat them. They then ordered them to get dressed and took them to the Kangbao County Detention Center where they ordered the inmates to beat them. Police department head Hao Yanfei screamed, "The police department is where beatings take place!"

Police officers Zhang Jianwu, Ren Daxiong and Dong broke into practitioner Zhang Decai's home on the morning of February 25. They confiscated all Dafa books, cassette players and other items. One week later, Zhang Decai was released after the police extorted over 5,000 yuan from him. Practitioner Xi Zhaojun was sent to a custody center where he went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. While there, the guards force-fed him salt water and forbade his family from visiting him. It has been two weeks since he was first taken there. The officials submitted some fabricated documents about Xi Zhaojun to the procuratorate and claimed they would sentence Xi Zhaojun to prison. Xi Zhaojun is now very weak and in critical condition.

Xi Zhaojun was a teacher at the No. 2 Buzi Township Middle School, but was fired after the persecution began on July 20, 1999, because he refused to renounce Falun Gong. He became homeless to avoid being illegally arrested, but officials constantly harassed his family. Their relentless persecution traumatized his parents. They also harassed his sister. His family has been persecuted mentally and financially.

Xi Zhaojun's parents learned that he was held at a detention center, so they went to the police department and knelt before the officers, begging to see their son. The police told them, "If you cooperate with us and say whatever we tell you to say while we videotape you, you can see your son."

His parents were so anxious to see Xi Zhaojun that they said untruthful things [against Dafa and Dafa practitioners] as the officials demanded. After achieving their goal, the officials went back on their promise and refused to let them see Xi Zhaojun.

(Clearwisdom.net) I first began cultivating in Falun Dafa in 1998. On July 20, 1999, the labor union of our factory required that every practitioner hand in their Dafa books. I refused to do so, for which I was later fired. When I came back home, I cried loudly in front of Master’s picture. At that time I heard that those who went to Beijing to exercise their legal rights and appeal would later be jailed. In this unjust situation, as a Dafa practitioner I could not think much about other things, and I decided that “clarifying the facts” and validating Dafa was what I should do.

In June 2000, several fellow practitioners and I went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa and validate Dafa's goodness. At that time, our minds were very righteous. We kept reciting “Hong Yin” in our hearts. We were arrested and sent to a district police department in Beijing, where we insisted on a free release. We came back home safely that same day.

In late 2000, some police officers locked me up in the guest house of our factory for no reason. Dozens of us practitioners were detained there. After two weeks, most of them said they would give up practicing Falun Gong due to fear. They were sent home. In the end, only a few others and I persisted in not cooperating with this wicked situation. We insisted on cultivating in Dafa openly and freely in front of the police. They didn't know what to do with us, and finally sent us home.

During the lunar New Year in 2001, I was again taken to the guest house. My aunt Yan was with me. Both of us did not cooperate with the police. Later we were sent to a brainwashing class, and then to a detention center where we were detained for three months. After that, I was sent back home, but I wasn't allowed to go out alone. Every morning when I needed to go out to buy food and vegetables, a monitoring person led me to the market. He watched me closely step by step.

In 2002, I was once again taken to Sanshui Legal Study Class in Guangdong Province (a brainwashing class). I did not listen to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) lies and propaganda and refused to be “transformed.”

In April 2003, I was arrested and taken to Huizhou City Judicial Study Class (a brainwashing class). I told them that my mind was already made up, and strong like a diamond. Later the police sent me to Huizhou Detention Center. Finally, after that I was sent to a forced labor camp.

In August 2003, I was forcibly taken to a labor camp. I was often deprived of sleep and was put in solitary confinement. I was asked to recite the six articles of public security. After making me suffer for years, the evil took advantage of me. They made me sign the “Four Statements.” I felt very bad about myself.

In April 2006, when I was back in my hometown to distribute materials, I was reported by someone who did not understand the truth of the persecution. I was arrested and sent to Lianzhou Detention Center and then to a labor camp. As I had a high blood pressure, I was refused to be taken in. The “610 Office” sent me to Sanshui Brainwashing Class for the fourth time. In the following months, I did not cooperate with the persecution and they started using violence to torture me. They forced me to watch propaganda VCDs that slandered Dafa until midnight every day. After midnight I was also deprived of sleep. They made me stay awake until sunrise. Then they pinched my neck and beat me with a bench. They punished me by making me stand while eating and slandered me with nasty language. As I did not have enough righteous thoughts, again I signed the statements. In late December, 2006, I was finally sent home.

These are my experiences. I wrote about them to expose the evil CCP’s crimes of persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners.

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Li Xuejin, a resident of Wafangdian in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, started practicing Falun Gong in 1995. Very soon he went from being a quick-tempered person to becoming a person who is helpful, considerate and well-liked by others.

After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, Li Xuejin went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong. He was arrested on Tiananmen Square and transfered back to Dalian City, where he was “illegally detained” for over a month. During his detention, Li Xuejin was beaten and tortured by criminal inmates.

After his release, Li Xuejin continued to explain the true situation about Falun Gong to others. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) deployed a lot of manpower trying to arrest him but failed at first.

In 2001, Li Xuejin was arrested at a relative's home. During his detention he resisted the demands of his captors but was subjected to various tortures and was later sentenced to three years of forced labor.

When he was detained in the Dalian Forced Labor Camp, he conducted himself righteously. In an attempt to further intimidate him, the guards transfered him to the infamous and dreaded Guanshan Forced Labor Camp. During his detention at the Guanshan Forced Labor Camp, Li Xuejin was tortured with various methods including "wearing a boxing cap," and the “death bed” torture. He was also exposed to temperatures of minus 10 degrees Celsius (14°F) while wearing only his underwear, for an entire day.

In the face of these cruel tortures, he still refused to compromise with the demands of the CCP. Together with other practitioners, he changed the environment of the labor camp such that eventually the criminal inmates even admired practitioners.

In order to achieve their goal of "transforming" Li Xuejin, agents of the CCP once sent him to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, where he was surrounded by “collaborators” who attempted to brainwash him. However, Li Xuejin was not fooled and instead managed to open the eyes of some of the collaborators so that they realized their mistakes. Eventually, the guards at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp told the staff at the Guanshan Forced Labor Camp to take him away immediately and not bring him back again. Li Xuejin never signed any statements renouncing Falun Gong, and in the end his forced labor term expired and he was released unconditionally.

Most recently, on February 6, 2007, Li Xuejin was arrested once again by officials from the Dafang Township Police Station, in the Ganjingzi District of Dalian City. He is currently detained at the Yaojia Detention Center of Dalian City. According to trusted sources, the CCP plans to sentence him to two years of prison and the Public Security Bureau of Ganjingzi District has already approved the sentence. His sentencing is now awaiting final approval at the Dalian City Public Security Bureau's Law Enforcement Division.

(Clearwisdom.net) On February 1, 2007, agents from the Shanghai City 610 Office, ordered the chief justice of the Shanghai Hongkou District Court, Xiao Wanxiang (male), to bring Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiang Suying to trial. Ms. Jiang was sentenced to three and a half years in prison. As a chief justice, Xiao Wanxiang had also presided over the trials of four other practitioners in Shanghai on April 11, 2005. On that occasion, Ms. Zhou Shumei was sentenced to six years, Ms. Liu Fendi to seven years, and Ms. Hua Liping to three years in prison, while Ms. Wu Peiyu was given three years of probation. In addition, on January 11, 2007, he put Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Guan Longmei, a resident of Hongkou District, on trial and sentenced her to seven years in prison.

We need to seriously warn Xiao Wanxiang: You will not escape punishment when the time is ripe! It may be that you were only following orders, but anyone who coordinates or is involved in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners will meet his or her retribution, no matter what the excuse for their involvement. At some point in your career, perhaps you really were fighting for justice and wanted to work for a better society. Perhaps you were even wondering why moral standards are declining so precipitously and were hoping to make a contribution. What are you doing now? At present, you are putting good people who believe in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" on trial, thereby further contributing to the declining moral standards. If you still have any righteous thoughts left, please do not follow the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners any longer. Try to make up for the harm you have caused practitioners in the past, in order to atone for your crimes.

At the end of last year, police from Lanzhou City and Tianshui City in Gansu Province “illegally arrested” many practitioners. When the local prisons in Gansu Province no longer had room for these practitioners, a large group of practitioners were transferred to Shaanxi Province at the end of last year.

In addition, there are indications that a large group of practitioners sentenced to imprisonment and held in the local prisons in Shaanxi Province, regardless of the length of their prison terms, are being transferred to Weinan City.

2. [Guangdong Province] Mr. Li Fulin Previously Held for Four Years Arrested Again

Practitioner Mr. Li Fulin from Shenzhen City was about to leave home as usual on February 27, 2007 (the tenth day of Chinese New Year), when over ten people from the “610 Office,” hidding by the door of his home, suddenly rushed out to arrest him. Reportedly he is being held in the Futian Detention Center.

Mr. Li Fulin was born on August 23, 1969, in Meizhou City of Guangdong Province. He worked with fellow practitioners from Shenzhen City to distribute several tens of thousands of Falun Dafa “truth-clarification” materials in the buildings along the main streets, such as Shennan Boulevard and Huaqiang Road, during the Second Chinese New and Advanced Science and Technology Achievement Conference held on October 12, 2000. Because of this, he was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment by the Futian District Court of Shenzhen City on November 8, 2002. In November 2006, after being held for four years, he was released. Afterwards, the Shenzhen City 610 Office repeatedly harassed Mr. Li Fulin via phone calls, ordering him to show up for a “conversation,” but Mr. Li solemnly refused to comply. During the same time period, his family members noticed that he was being followed.

3. [Shanghai City] Supplementary Information on the Illegal Sentencing of Practitioner Mr. Lin Mingli to Imprisonment

Practitioner Mr. Lin Mingli was taken to a forced labor camp by the Shanghai City police and was subjected to brutal torture for two years just because he practices Falun Dafa. Over two years ago, he was released from the forced labor camp and was reunited with his family.

On October 9, 2006, shortly after his reunion with his wife, he was suddenly arrested again by police from the local 610 Office, while he was taking a walk with his wife on a small road near their home. He has been illegally held since then. The local police from the 610 Office have been treating him as a primary target for persecution.

In order to achieve the goal of sentencing Mr. Lin to imprisonment, the police arrested friends he had been interacting with and interrogated them under torture to force them to provide the “evidence” that would allow them to sentence Mr. Lin to imprisonment. The police also ransacked Mr. Lin’s home from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. but found nothing. Even though they couldn't get any evidence from his friends or find any pieces of evidence, just because the 610 Office suspected that he had passed along a DVD disc of the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party”, Mr. Lin was given a heavy, six-year sentence by the Putuo District Court of Shanghai City on November 10, 2006.

Mr. Lin immediately appealed. However, the Middle-Level Court refused to carry out any investigations or verification, and also refused to hold a trial. At the end of last year, the court notified Mr. Lin Mingli’s attorney that the case was too simple to be re-opened and that the original sentence was upheld. When his attorney requested to discuss the case in person, they rejected his request. In the detention center, Mr. Lin Mingli has been transferred to a cell for those who have been sentenced to prison. He is about to be taken to a prison.

Practitioner Mr. Shan Zhiping from Shuangyashan City has been arrested and held in the Hongxinglong Detention Center for almost two months. The CCP is trying to gather accusations in an attempt to sentence him to prison.

Mr. Shan’s wife has been suffering from mental illness due to too much stress from the repeated torture of her husband during the past several years just because he practices Falun Dafa. This time, when she learned of the arrest of her husband for the second time, her mental illness recurred. Their daughter, who lives out of town, was unable to come to visit her father, due to her poor health, until one month after his arrest. When she arrived, her mother was already sick and had to be hospitalized. Mr. Shan Zhiping’s mother is in her 80s.

5. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Detailed Information on the Arrest of Five Practitioners

On March 3, 2007, five practitioners were arrested. Later, three of them were released. The other two were held in the Baishan City Detention Center.

Prior to the Chinese New Year on January 28 and January 29, a fellow practitioner from Baishan City went to the Sanjiang Building of Baishan City to do some shopping and lost his/her wallet at the cashier's counter. The wallet was turned in to the manager of the Sanjiang Building. The manager handed over the wallet to the Baishan City Police Department. In the wallet were DVD discs, an identification card, truth-clarification materials, the phone numbers of the practitioner’s relatives and friends, and saving slips as well as cash. The police then started to secretly monitor and follow the practitioner. They started to arrest practitioners on March 3, 2007 (the fourteenth day of the Chinese New Year). Five practitioners have been arrested. Three of them have been released, while the other two practitioners are still in the Baishan City Detention Center.

Police found machinery and other equipment as well as Falun Dafa materials when they ransacked their homes. The loss was very severe.

6. [Qixia City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Mou Zuguang Arrested by Police

Practitioner Mr. Mou Zuguang, who lost his job at the Tangjiabo Town Silk Factory in Qixia City, was arrested by police from the Tangjiabo Town Police Station when he was clarifying the truth in Tangjiabo Town around February 10, 2007. He is currently being held in the Qixia City Detention Center and being tortured.

7. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] The Luxun Art Institute Forcing New Students to “Express Opinions” against Their Wills

Last year, the Luxun Art Institute in Shenyang City requested that new students fill out a survey form at the beginning of the semester. In the survey form, there were questions regarding Falun Gong. Three choices were given: 1) Falun Gong is a cult; 2) Falun Gong is not a cult; 3) Not sure. Two new students chose “Not Sure.” Consequently, the institute officials forced them to write a self-criticism statement of at least 500 words. If they refused to write the statement, they would be dismissed from the institute. Under pressure, the new students were forced to do things that were against their wills. They were angry but too afraid to talk about it.

8. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Li Fu Arrested

On February 19, 2007 (the second day of the Chinese New Year), practitioner Ms. Li Fu, 60 years old, from Huangtupo Village of Tangshan City/Zhunhua City went to the home of Li Shan (male) in her village to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to Li’s wife, Yang Shuying, and to persuade her to withdraw from the CCP. Yang, however, reported her to the village CCP secretary, Li Ying (male). Subsequently, Li Ying led eight people from the Xisanli Township Police Station and Xisanli Township Government to break into Ms. Li Fu’s home a total of three times between February 19 and February 27, 2007 to harass her. Furthermore, on March 5, 2007, Li Ying led eight people from Xisanli Township Police Station and Government to forcibly take Ms. Li Fu to the Zhunhua City Brainwashing Center to torture her. Ms. Li Fu experienced symptoms such as whole body cramps, increased blood pressure, and increased heart rate. However, they disregarded her safety and still took her away.

9. [Sanhe City, Hebei Province] Ms. Shi Ruixiang from the North China Institute of Science and Technology Illegally Held

On March 2, 2007, practitioner Ms. Shi Ruixiang, from the North China Institute of Science and Technology located in the Yanjiao District of Sanhe City in Hebei Province, was arrested when she was distributing truth-clarification materials in Gaopaidian District. She is still being held in the Gaopaidian District.

Practitioner Mr. Zhang Linfeng from Lujiagang Village, Niutang Township, Wujin District of Changzhou City, was reported to police because he distributed truth-clarification materials. At the end of 2006, right before the Chinese New Year’s Eve, when families are supposed to meet, he was arrested by police from the Niutang Township Police Station of Wujin District. Mr. Zhang is currently being held illegally in the Wujin District Detention Center and is being tortured.

17. [Tianmen City, Hubei Province] Follow-Up Information on What Happened after Practitioner Ms. He Meirong’s Home Was Ransacked

In 2006, practitioner Ms. He Meirong was forced to leave home to avoid being arrested after her home was ransacked. After ten days, the police returned her computer and also deceived her into returning to school. Her brother, He Tongqiang, was forced to take her back to school, where she only spent two days. The police arrested her again and took her into the Tianmen Detention Center. She has since been taken to the Hubei Provincial Women’s Forced Labor Camp, where she is serving a one-year sentence.

18. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Shao Yongmei Illegally Held

On the morning of March 7, 2007, practitioners Ms. Shao Yongmei and Ms. Guo Zhanyu from the Cultural District of Zhaoyuan City were reported to police while clarifying the truth and were taken to the Luofeng Road Police Station of Zhaoyuan City. Subsequently, police officer Li Jianguang (male) from Zhaoyuan City State Security Division and 610 Office led several police officers to illegally ransack the homes of Ms. Shao and Ms. Guo. Ms. Guo was taken to the Zhaoyuan City Brainwashing Center. Because her family members actively requested her release, she was released on March 8, 2007. Ms. Shao was taken to Zhaoyuan City Detention Center and is still being illegally held there.

20. [Jilin City] Many Practitioners Arrested

On February 12 and 13, 2007, the State Security Division of the Police Department of Jilin City arrested practitioners Ms. Zhao Yingjie, Ms. Wang Liqiu, Ms. Miao Chunhong, Ms. Zhao Guoxing, and Ms. Liu Yuhe and held them for 20 days without notifying any of their family members. Only after their family members had searched for the practitioners everywhere did the State Security Division of the Cangyi Police Department of the Jilin City Police Department issue Criminal Detention Certificates to the family members of the arrested practitioners.

A case manager used a stick to hit Ms. Zhao Yingjie in her vaginal area. Ms. Zhao is 34 years old, single, and has graduated from college. When Ms. Zhao informed other case managers of this treatment, no one inquired about the matter.

Practitioner Ms. Li Xiantao from the Dongxihu District of Wuhan City was reported to police on March 7, 2007, when she was clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa on the Dongshan Farm. She was arrested by the local police and has been transferred to the Dongxuhu District Police Station.

22. [Zhoukou City, Henan Province] Practitioner Ms. Liu Yanhua Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Liu Yanhua from the former Cotton Printing and Dyeing Mill of Zhoukou City (already bankrupt) was arrested by police on March 9, 2007.

23. [Huhhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Seventy-Year-Old Practitioner Mr. Li Guangzhi Arrested

On Chinese New Year’s Day 2007, practitioner Mr. Li Guangzhi, around 70 years old, was posting truth-clarification couplets on the door of his own home and the doors of his apartment unit when he was reported to the police. Two officers came and ordered him to take the couplets down. Mr. Li refused. Later, five police officers went to ransack his home and confiscated truth-clarification materials including the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Since Mr. Li's arrest, there has been no news about him.

24. [Xinyang City, Henan Province] Practitioner Mr. Hou Hui Arrested

On the night of March 15, 2007, the Xinyang City 610 Office suddenly broke into the home of practitioner Mr. Hou Hui, ransacked the home, and arrested him. Two days later, Mr. Hou was taken to a forced labor camp.

On February 27, 2007, practitioners Ms. Song Ronghua and Ms. Lu Suxia from Gaopaidian City in Hebei Province were distributing truth-clarification materials at the Batong Market in Gaopaidian City when they were arrested by the Criminal Division of the Gaopaidian City Police Department. 26. [Shanxi Province] Qi County Prison Refuses to Release Mr. Luan Fusheng, Who Is Near Death

Practitioner Mr. Luan Fusheng from Shijiazhuang City has been held in Qi County Prison of Shanxi Province. He was again taken to the 109 Police Department Hospital for emergency treatment. The hospital has issued, for the third time, a notification of imminent death. However, the prison still refuses to release him, claiming that the “paperwork for a release to seek medical attention has not been completed.”

On March 2, 2007, when Mr. Luan’s family members went to visit him in prison, they saw that his entire body was swollen and he was no longer able to speak clearly. He looked extremely thin and was bedridden. He is no longer able to take care of himself and is on his last breath. A criminal inmate shares his bed and takes care of him.

27. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Sun Jinghuan “Out on Bail Awaiting Trial”

Practitioner Mr. Sun Jinghuan was arrested for no reason on February 2, 2007, by the Dalian City State Security Division, and was released on March 2, 2007. The State Security Division stated that he had been “bailed out awaiting trial.”

Practitioner Ms. Liu Zhaozhen from Huawo Village, Shangcang Town, Ji County of Tianjin City, was by police from the 610 Office of Ji County on January 31, 2007. Police confiscated a laptop computer, a printer, a DVD player, a paper cutter, and several packages of printing paper. Other confiscated items were not identified.

Practitioner Mr. Li Xinguang was arrested by the Wolong Police Department of Nanyang City after he walked out of his home on the evening of March 6, 2007. He is currently being held in the Shangzhuang Detention Center of Nanyang City.

On the morning of March 7, 2007, police from the Wolong Police Department went to ransack Mr. Li's home. His family members refused to open the door. Police used 800 “yuan” to lure someone who did not know the truth about Falun Dafa to break in through the family's thief-proof door. They then dragged Mr. Li Xinguang’s wife, Ms. Zhao Qin, by her hair into the police car and took her away. Ms. Zhao walked away with righteous thoughts that night.

31. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhang Jiang Subjected to Torture in Hulan Prison of Harbin City

Practitioner Mr. Zhang Jian has been subjected to torture in the No. 9 Division of Hulan Prison of Harbin City. On February 6, 2007, the Instructor of the No. 9 Division, Liu Lingfeng (male), noticed that Mr. Zhang was doing the Falun Dafa exercises. The next day, Liu instructed Liu Kai (male) and Zhang Chengbao (male) to slap Mr. Zhang’s face over 30 times, causing his right cheek and right ear to bleed. They also kicked him and forced him to write a “repentance statement.” On February 9, 2007, when Mr. Zhang Jiang was doing the exercises, he was noticed again and was again subjected to a severe beating. Afterwards, he was subjected to the “Small Cell” (1).

Practitioners Ms. Du Liangfen and Ms. Zhang Yuzhen were reported to police when they went to Taixing City to distribute truth-clarification materials on the afternoon of March 5, 2007. They are currently being held and are being subjected to torture.

(1) In the “Small Cell” torture, the detainee is locked up in a very small cell. The guards handcuff the victim behind his back in a fixed position, so that he can neither move nor lie down. The small cell is very damp and no sunshine comes in. Only half of a regular meal is served to those locked up in a small cell. At night the rats run around. A bucket in the cell serves as a toilet. The stench in the small cell is so bad that it is difficult to breathe.

Every Family Is Reading the Nine Commentaries

Today is the first work day after the Chinese New Year. Many people send greetings to each other after returning to work.

One colleague asked me, “Did you read the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party”?” I said I had read it on the Internet. He told me his hometown is Ling County. He had gone to his hometown to celebrate Chinese New Year. On the morning of the first day of the New Year, there was a copy of the Nine Commentaries outside each family's front door. Many people tried to be the first to read it. I asked him what he thought about the book. He said it was very good, only the bookbinding was not good and some pages were out of order, so it was a little bit difficult to read. However, the package was very good. Everyone liked it very much.

I also saw another co-worker. I did not have a good impression of him and felt that he was not really a good person. However, today he was seriously discussing something with four or five older women. I walked by and overheard that he was talking about the Nine Commentaries. He could recite from each chapter of the Nine Commentaries. In that instant I realized that another human being had chosen a good future for himself.

Fortunate to Be Protected by Dafa

Story 1

Mr. Wang lives in Jilin Province. One day, he drove his farming tricycle with his wife, mother-in-law (a Dafa practitioner) and a baby on board. His mother-in-law was resting in the vehicle. At a long ridge, the brakes failed. The situation looked very bad. The vehicle rushed down the ridge, out of control. His wife shouted, “Teacher Li rescue me!”

At the same time, Mr. Wang told his wife to quickly wake his sleeping mother-in-law and tell her that the brakes were broken. His mother-in-law slowly got up and said, “Do not fear. We have Master to protect us.”

The vehicle mysteriously slowed down and stopped when it was close to a village. If the vehicle had crashed into the village, the consequences would have been terrible. The whole family witnessed the miracle of Dafa. It was merciful Master who protected them.

Story 2

Ms. Yang is from Jilin Province. Beginning on January 7, she had unexplainable pain in her back. It was so bad that she could not work. She even had difficulty breathing. She said that the pain made her think she was dying. After two days, because one of her classmates had died, she suppressed the pain and got on a bus. All through the ride she was in so much pain that she could not speak, and she could not sit down. After a Dafa practitioner who was on the same bus told her the facts about Dafa and the persecution, Ms. Yang began to recite, “Falun Dafa is good.” When they arrived at her destination, she could not bend her back. When she got up the next morning, Ms. Yang “clarified the truth” and urged people to quit the Chinese Communist Party with the Dafa disciple. Suddenly, she found that her back was no longer sore. She walked lightly and felt very light.

Ms. Yang was excited and told many people about her experience. It was very mysterious! When other people asked her again what she said to make her well, Ms. Yang said, “I repeatedly recited, 'Falun Dafa is good. Falun Dafa is the righteous “Fa”. Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance are good.'” Many people understood the truth. Ms. Yang told them, “I will study Zhuan Falun well and thank Master Li.”

I Will Tell Others of the Benefits I Obtained

I am a Dafa practitioner from Weihai, Shandong Province, and I am 57 years old. I once opened a cake shop and ran a small business. I got up at 3:00 a.m. every day and worked the entire morning. Gradually my physical condition deteriorated. I had headaches, carsickness, leg and back pain and other illnesses. One of my friends introduced me to Falun Dafa and I began to cultivate.

Before, when I was carsick, I would have to lie down for several hours after taking a bus. Now I can stand for several hours on a bus. Before, I could not get out of bed when I had a headache. The headaches where like needles in my head. Now, I do not get headaches and I appear very healthy. My neighbor of many years is also cultivating Dafa.

One time, I went to her home to give her some Falun Dafa materials. I saw that her mother could not walk because of leg pain. She was almost to the point that she could not care for herself. Then I talked about Dafa to her. I said that I had back pain before and could not walk, like her. Since I have been practicing Dafa, not only can I walk but I can do many physically demanding tasks as well. I am becoming more and more solid. She agreed with me before I said anything more. Every day she recited, “Falun Dafa is good. Falun Dafa is righteous.” After about 20 days, a miracle happened. She showed me that she could walk and do some some light housework. Now, she persists in practicing Dafa and her faith is very firm.

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a frequent patron of the Wagner Festspiele (Wagner Festival) at the Wagner Festspielhaus (or festival opera house), which seats 1,925 people. There are thirty performances annually. On opening day, nearly 50 percent of the audience are celebrities of German mainstream society. It is rumored that 50,000 more people line up for tickets to the Wagner Festival than seats are available. Some people have waited in line yearly for eleven years for a ticket. Every year I run into such people. The audience often complains about how difficult it is to get a ticket. After reading reports about the audience's reviews of NTDTV Global Chinese New Year Spectacular touring performances around the world, I think that it will become equally difficult to obtain tickets for the Spectacular in the future, and may even surpass the number of people who want to see the Wagner Festival. Why do I say this?

An elderly lady from Paris bought a ticket to see the Spectacular a second time after she saw the opening performance in Paris. After she watched the show twice in Paris, she anxiously looked for its touring schedule. When she learned that there would be two shows in Berlin, she immediately decided to fly to Berlin and bought tickets for both shows. She told an NTDTV staff member in Germany who did not speak French excitedly that the music touched deep in her heart and every program appealed to her. She used body language to describe who the music penetrates to her heart and through her body.

But would an audience member from Munich travel to Berlin for the Spectacular? It is more than 500 km (311 mi.) from Munich to Berlin! According to a Spectacular hostess, a lady in her thirties and her husband traveled all the way from Munich to Berlin to see the show. The woman told her that her mother is from Asia and she has been interested in things related to Asia since she was little. When she saw a poster in Munich about the Spectacular show in Berlin, she decided to come see the show with her husband.

Let us not forget that these stories happened in the very first year the Spectacular ever toured Germany. These two audience members had only heard about or found out about the Spectacular by chance the first time. Imagine what will happen in a few years?

I heard that although most of the programs for the Spectacular in NY are shown in other cities, only New York City's Spectacular showed the full program. Also, apparently, NTDTV will not release a DVD this year, because it is planning to sign long-term commercial contracts with large theaters in the future. I became anxious when I heard that I would not be able to buy a DVD this year. I dropped everything, not matter how important, and flew to New York from Germany, so I could watch the show. There was also Tianyin Orchestra's maiden show at the Spectacular. Each program deeply touched my heart. Was it a surprise or an opportunity to ponder? By the end of the show, I was completely mesmerized and lost in the show. I wanted more. What is spiritual enjoyment? Spending $180 for the best seat and flying to see a show is a spiritual enjoyment. It is about longing for high-quality art and telling myself, "It's well worth it!" After I watched the show, I knew that it was truly worth the trip. There is nothing more beautiful or more worthwhile than this. That's how I felt. The seating capacity at Radio City in New York is 6,000. It is three times more than the Wagner Festival house seating capacity.

The day will not be far when audiences around the world will fly to see the NTDTV production of the Chinese New Year Spectacular, just like people are flying to Germany to see the Wagner Festival and praise Wagner's operas. (Of course, it cannot be more inappropriate to compare the Wagner Festival to the Spectacular. But Wagner Festival is so famous that it does not need any advertisement. For close to 100 years, people waited outside the Festival House to purchase tickets. People who get the tickets are filled with pride. Even when the tickets are sold out, there are still people from around the world staying up in their sleeping bags in front of the theater, waiting for people to return their ticket. Hence, I am showing you that people may have to do the same to get tickets for the Spectacular in coming years.) The day will not be far when people will have to wait in line every year for 11 years to get tickets for the Spectacular. The day will not be far when people who obtain tickets for the Spectacular will call their family to boast that they got a ticket. The day will not be far when people from around the world and proudly purchase the Spectacular memorabilia or proudly send a show-off postcard from the post office in front of the theater hosting the Spectacular. Once people have a deeper understanding about the meaning of the Spectacular, the day will not be far when the Spectacular surpasses the status of the Wagner Festival.

The box office for the Wagner Festival is open all year round. There are Friends of Wagner Association in many countries around the world. For example, someone from London told me that their association told them that they had obtained only three tickets for the Wagner Festival in 2006 and that they had to draw lots to determine who would get a ticket.

Of course, it took more than ten years to build the Wagner Festival House. It is unlikely that NTDTV will spend ten years to build a theater. Yet, it is a practical idea to have an advanced ticket sales office. As long as the global tour schedule and theaters are finalized, the box offices around the world may start selling tickets in advance. Once you have read all the reports and audience's reviews about the NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular, you will be just as confident that the day will not be far.

After watching the show, many who were in the audience spread the news to the world about the beauty of the Spectacular. Presently many people are asking about the Spectacular in 2008. There are such people in the world who prefer buying the tickets a year in advance so that they may rest assured for the rest of the year. After the Berlin shows, many people called the ticket hot-line and asked what other cities the Spectacular would tour, whether the Spectacular would tour Germany next year, what time and location the Spectacular would be presented in Germany, and so on.

About two months ago when the NTDTV Holiday Wonders show had just ended, an English newspaper in New York said that if people wish to enjoy magnificent costumes, outstanding dance performances, beautiful music, vocal performance and magnificent stage background in the same show or look for the world's most elegant art, they will first think about and recommend the NTDTV production of such shows.

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 17, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners exposed the persecution of Falun Gong in China, especial in Harbin, on the downtown square of Aarhus, the second largest city in Denmark.

Look! This is what is happening in Harbin.

Banner states, “Genocide in Aarhus' Sister City Harbin.”

“Let me see. Such cruel things are happening in Harbin!”

Kind people were shocked at the cruel facts.

“We can't accept the persecution in Harbin.”

The people in Aarhus were very kind and honest. When Falun Gong practitioners passed newsletters to them, many of them expressed their gratitude. A lady put her right hand on her left cheek and thanked Falun Gong practitioners sincerely.

A mother told her children the terrible things happening in Harbin and China. Her children couldn't believe the innocent woman in the picture taken before persecution was the same person as the woman with a haggard face and swelled belly after being persecuted!

Many people were shocked to know such cruel crimes are happening in Aarhus' sister city Harbin. One said if the city government continues the sister relationship with Harbin, it must be ignoring the crimes for economic interest.

Aarhus and Harbin became sister cities in the 1980s. The human rights condition of Harbin became the focus of attention in recent months. Major newspaper in Aarhus devote a lot of space to the appalling crime of torturing Falun Gong practitioners and harvesting their organs in Harbin.

According to an incomplete count of death cases in the Clearwisdom database, 378 deaths were in Heilongjiang Province. It is the province with the second most cases of death among the thirty provinces. One third of the deaths happened in Harbin.

Wanjia Forced Labor Camp, Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp and Women's Jail of Heilongjiang Province were most notorious for persecuting Falun Gong. Harvesting living Falun Gong practitioners' organs also happened in these three places.

A local resident told the reporter, “It is not the right time for Denmark to strengthen friendship and extend exchanges with Harbin, because China is not a democratic county. The people there don't have freedom. The government of Denmark should not give up human rights for economic interest, much less ignore the persecution occurring in Harbin.”

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 17, 2007, the “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” International Art Exhibition was held in National Tainan Social Education Center. The deputy mayor of Tainan City, Mr. Hong Cheng-chung, along with city Parliament Members Cai Wang-chuan and Wang Bao-hsing, Professor Chan Shi-huang from Cheng Kung University, and other guests came to the exhibition.

Ms. Chen Meifang, a high school art teacher explains the content of the artwork to the visitors

More than 40 artworks, which were created by several oversea Chinese artists, were exhibited. The artworks express the artists' pursuit of truth and respect to deities. They also demonstrate the fight between deities and demons.

Mr. Yang Minhsiung, the representative from the Falun Dafa Association in Tainan, said that the purpose of the art exhibition was to call for voices of justice and help to stop the persecution. Falun Gong practitioners also hope that people will recognize the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) through the artworks.

The deputy mayor, Hong Cheng-chung, praised the way of clarifying the truth through the artworks. He said that everyone knows what fairness is, and as long as we fight for the truth, the truth will stay with us.

City Parliament member Mr. Cai Wang-chuan said that he hoped that everyone in Tainan would come to the art exhibition and learn about the principles of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” which help to improve one's spiritual level.

Dr. Wang Bao-hsing, who has a very deep understanding of the CCP, said that through the artworks he can sense Falun Gong practitioners' appreciation of their Master, Mr. Li Hongzhi. He also learned the brutality of the persecution. He stated that the media in Taiwan is afraid of the CCP, which is a pity. He hoped that the artworks would be exhibited everywhere in the world and help people to recognize the evil nature of the CCP.

Professor Chan Shi-huang from Cheng Kung University praised Falun Dafa. He said that his wife became healthier and nicer after she practiced Falun Dafa, and she is busy but happy every day. He hopes that people can sense the beauty of Falun Dafa through the artworks.

Mr. Yan Hongming, the principal of Nanning High School, said that the artworks were excellent, and they are helpful in improving students' moral standards.

Businessman Mr. Chen Jinfu was shocked by the persecution manifested by the artworks. He knew about the persecution, but he didn't know that it was so brutal. He said that people should learn about the evil nature of the CCP.

Ms. Chen Mei-fang, an art teacher from Hou Bi High School, explained the content of the artworks for the visitors. The organizers said that the exhibition will last until March 28, and that they hoped more people would come to it.

Falun Gong practitioners were also invited to participate in the conference and submitted a document appealing to the Chinese authorities to end the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

Greetings Master and fellow practitioners:

During the last several years, one sentence taught by Master has been always on my mind, “As Fa-rectification cultivators, we can't just watch these innocent beings get deceived like this into sinning and be destroyed.” (“Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Fa Conference,” 2001 from Guiding the Voyage)

In the process of spreading the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party” and promoting withdrawal from the CCP among Chinese people, I realized that “clarifying the facts” is very urgent and important. I also cherish the opportunity to write and share my experiences. Writing and sharing my experiences helped me do things better in the future. The following is my recent experience. Please help to point out any mistakes.

I. The Sacred Mission of Spreading The Nine Commentaries and Promoting Withdrawal from the CCP

In the last few years, I met practitioners from mainland China, and some of them have doubts about spreading the Nine Commentaries and promoting withdrawal from the CCP. One reason was that they could not get Master Li’s new articles due to the current situation in China. Another reason was due to fear. Some of these practitioners think that it is just fine to practice and study the “Fa” at home because they feel the danger. The evil forces take advantage of their fears and intensify the interference to these practitioners, which makes them think that spreading the Nine Commentaries and other truth clarification materials is getting involved in politics, as defined by the evil CCP.

We should collectively understand the sacred mission for spreading the Nine Commentaries and promoting withdrawal from the CCP. Master stated in “Teaching the Fa at the 2005 Manhattan International Fa Conference,”

“Let's take the Nine Commentaries as an example. The primary goal of publishing the Nine Commentaries was to expose the CCP's nature so that people who had been deceived by the CCP could see it for what it is and recognize the CCP's evilness, and thus be saved.”

Master also stated in “Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference,”

“Our Dafa disciples have read the Nine Commentaries, and since that party is something of that nature, think about how many people in the world have been misled by it and thus don't believe in gods, and how many people are following it and persecuting Dafa disciples and sinning against Dafa. Could we not save those people? Could we possibly approve of it? So I could see that some students were still holding themselves back by way of human thinking, and some lacked righteous thoughts and thought that it was getting involved in politics.”

After Master’s new article entitled “Further Remarks on 'Politics'” was recently published, I have enlightened that we should not worry when everyday people comment that we are getting involved in politics. We should openly tell them that—as stated in Chinese law—Chinese citizens have the right to be involved in politics. The objective of spreading the the Nine Commentaries is to tell people about the nature of the CCP and wake up their conscience so they don't follow the CCP in doing bad things. Security and peace is the primary concern for everyday people. What we are doing is telling them that the best way to escape a catastrophe is to withdraw from the CCP, and stay away from the CCP because Heaven will eliminate the CCP and “one would rather believe it to be true than not.”

This is not a problem for clear-minded practitioners, but it is a great obstacle for those who can’t understand it from the standpoint of the Fa or for those who have been left behind in the Fa Rectification process. Some practitioners are even lost because they are controlled by the evil spirit. Another fundamental issue is having respect and faith in Master and the Fa. Disciples should help those practitioners who are left behind and who should wake up as soon as possible. Otherwise these practitioners will not only lose the opportunity to save sentient beings, but may also miss this once-in-a-billion-year opportunity of cultivation.

II. Pay Much Attention to Studying the Fa, Eliminate Human Attachments, and Maintain Righteous Thoughts and Actions

I received a letter last month from a friend on the Internet in mainland China. The letter said “I have a friend. She can access the Internet via a dynamic website. She was deeply moved by your story and often said that Falun Gong is the only hope for the Chinese people. She wants to learn Falun Gong and asked how to learn Falun Gong on the Internet.”

While clarifying the truth, in addition to eliminating the poisons injected into Chinese people by the CCP, we also spread the goodness of the Fa and show the purity and compassion of the practitioners. We may come to know various kinds of people. When those who are poisoned by the CCP curse at us, it is crucial to maintain calm and further clarify the truth to them with greater compassion. If we can’t demonstrate the compassion of a cultivator, we won’t be able to eliminate the evil. It is also important to upgrade our “xinxing” while clarifying the facts.

In “Teaching the Fa at the Conference in Switzerland”, Master said,

“Your sentences have complicated thoughts included in them, such as your human emotions and desires, and even those many attachments of yours. That makes your words not so powerful and rather diluted. ...But when your mind can truly become tranquil, when your attachments get less and less, or when the distracting thoughts get less and less, then you’ll find that your words have power.”

In the past I used to be bothered by my lack of ability to do well in truth-clarification, and troubled by my remaining attachments. In “Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference,” one practitioner asked, “I could never completely eliminate my own attachments. I’m really worried about this, but I’m never able to do well.” Master replied,

“Study the Fa more, study the Fa more. There’s no magic pill. Let’s take a pill and the attachments will go away. Actually, Dafa’s mighty power is even more effective than some cure-all magic pill.”

Our righteous thoughts are acquired completely through Fa study. For a very long period of time, though I had kept studying the Fa, I did not genuinely keep Master’s teaching in mind. When I do not pay attention to my actions, my thoughts might not be on the Fa. This was a very serious problem.

Now I have come to the following understandings. When I study the Fa, full attention is required without any distracting thoughts. My behavior should meet the requirements of the Fa at all times. I should cultivate my mind and upgrade my level by putting Master’s teaching into practice. I should be strict with myself about eliminating my attachments and desires.

In the past, I used to search outside myself. When studying the Fa, I stood up reading the Fa and temporarily tried to forget about other things. I forced myself to focus on Fa study, yet I failed to understand that it was because of the attachments remaining in my mind that my attention could be easily diverted when I was reading the Fa. While putting more emphasis on studying the Fa, we should also strictly base every single thought and deed on the Fa. Let's not slacken our efforts to do well in the “three things” that Master asked of us.

III. Using Our Time to Promote the Nine Commentaries and Encouraging the Three Withdrawals

Once I met a college freshman majoring in music from Yunnan Province. He told me that he had already made a statement about his withdrawal from the CCP. He anxiously asked me, “What can I do? I can use a band or rock and roll music to criticize the CCP. What do you think of this idea?”

Some Christian friends told me, “I am really grateful for you and your fellow practitioners. It is you who spread the seeds to dissolve the CCP in mainland China. Now many of the seeds have sprouted, flowered, and even yielded fruit. I am willing to pass on the torch and the seeds of love and hope!”

A net surfer told me, “I know the persecution of the Falun Gong does exist in China. I will also make an effort to help more people understand the facts. I would like to learn Falun Gong.”

Another net surfer told me, “With Freegate or DynaPass software, I can break through China’s Internet blockade. Particularly after viewing the facts of the June 4^th Tiananmen Massacre, I was really shocked. Much to my surprise, the CCP has hidden so many facts from its people and falsified history. The CCP exerts tight media control. I genuinely appreciate your efforts and respect you.

I contacted many people while clarifying the truth. Through such contacts, I realize that after coming to understand the facts, more and more people are making efforts to encourage others to quit the CCP. I realized that the chance to tell people the facts is precious and needs to be grasped, or they will vanish just like melting ice. In “Teaching the Fa in the City of Chicago,” Master said,

“Whether the change in the state of society is negative or positive, or, put another way, whether what comes about is bad or good, it is a test for our Dafa disciples all the same, and not a reason to become content. If things really do change for the better, it will be a different sort of test for you, and you still shouldn’t become content.”

Changes are being brought to the state that the society and people are willing to know and understand the facts. Hence, we should never slack off. On the contrary, we need to put our time to good use.

Finally, to inspire my fellow practitioners and myself, I’d like to quote a passage from Master’s article “The Closer to the End, the More Diligent You Should Be,”

“Actually, if you think about it, the cultivators of the past didn’t dare to slack off for even a second, and that was when it took an entire lifetime to complete the journey. So how can Dafa disciples—who are to achieve the Attainment Status of a being who is saved by Dafa and who have the most convenient cultivation way—not be even more diligent when they are given this most glorious honor of Fa-validating cultivation in a brief cultivation period that passes in the blink of an eye?”

The time we own now is created by Master. We must advance forward with diligence and determination!

(Clearwisdom.net) Time flies, Fa-rectification has reached this stage and the truth of Falun Gong has been widely spread through various means. As ordinary people understand the truth more and more, the righteous power becomes stronger and stronger. However, many innocent Falun Gong practitioners are still held in prisons and forced labor camps that are controlled by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Recently, Falun Gong practitioners from Mainland China and all over the world have been trying their best to end the illegal detentions in labor camps and prisons. This behavior has surfaced naturally with the progress of the Fa-rectification. In order to stop the persecution, and “Completely end the illegal detention of Falun Gong practitioners in labor camps and prisons,” I would like to talk about my understandings in this area.

On the Minghui Website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net), many articles have been posted about “completely ending the illegal detention of Falun Gong practitioners in labor camps and prisons.” Most of the practitioners from both Mainland China and overseas are all working on ending the persecution against Falun Gong and the practitioners. As Dafa practitioners, everyone of us should relate this goal closely with our personal cultivation after reading these kind of articles.

In the following paragraphs, I would like to talk about my understandings, in order to improve as one body, end the persecution earlier, and better save sentient beings.

1. Focus on personal cultivation to end the persecution earlier

Labor camps and jails are the dark dens of the evil forces. They are the locations where the evil forces arranged to “test” Dafa disciples. Actually, the arrangement is the persecution against Fa-rectification. We need to think about why the evil forces want to maintain the existence of labor camps and jails. My understanding is that it is because we still have attachments as a group. We claim, “Even if I have an omission, the evil forces do not deserve to test me.” However, the evil forces are glaring menacingly at our every word and action and looking forward to taking advantage of the loopholes that Dafa disciples have. For example, attachments to lust, sentimentality toward our families, attachments to fear, fame, and profits, etc.

There must be some excuses that the evil forces use to maintain the existence of labor camps and jails. Therefore, to cultivate ourselves well in all areas is essential. That is, if we could reach the requirements of Dafa as a whole body, the evil forces could never find an excuse to persecute. Therefore, truly and solidly cultivating ourselves needs to be carried out by every disciple. Our improvements are because of Master and Dafa, not because of the persecution by the evil forces. If we reach the standard of Dafa, the standard far beyond the one of the old universe, the persecution from the old forces could not exist any more.

2. Forming a (formless) whole body is a good way to end the persecution

To rescue fellow practitioners is not just a slogan. All Dafa disciples should utilize their wisdom and energy to realize this fact. The formation of a whole body is essential to save sentient beings and rescue fellow practitioners. Ordinary people say, “When people's hearts are joined together as one, even Mount Tai can be moved.” These words are not groundless. Therefore, forming a whole body and uniting our strength needs to be considered by all practitioners, especially for those who are in charge of coordination. In fact, in the areas where practitioners are better at forming a whole body, the persecution from the evil is weak, the ability to rescue fellow practitioners is powerful and the success rate is high. The power of the whole body is based on all practitioners in that area cultivating themselves well, validating Dafa, saving sentient beings, and stopping the evil persecution.

Dafa disciples' “whole body” is not organized or coordinated according to ordinary people's formats. On the contrary, Dafa disciples' “whole body” has been mostly shapeless during the several years of anti-persecution activities. Therefore, the “whole body” is based on the work of the coordinator, but the coordinator's personal contribution should not be overemphasized. In reality, no matter whether we do Dafa work well or not, recognize the whole body or not, Dafa disciples are a whole body. Our existence is actually a whole body, a great way without form. If we have a clear understanding of this issue, our whole body will generate enormous power.

3. We do the work to “expose the evil committed locally to the people”

Our charge to “Expose the evil committed locally to the people” has a vitally important effect in the midst of Fa-rectification, since the exposure of the evil people could effectively eliminate the evil elements in other dimensions, greatly discourage the evil behavior, and even make these people give up persecuting Falun Gong, give up the evil, and follow a righteous way. Actually, those evil people are poisoned when they are used by the evil party. During Dafa's spread, those people are also given chances to be saved. However, the connection between them and the evil has to be cut off. Exposure of their evil behaviors is a good method for them to give up persecuting Dafa disciples and choose a bright future.

4. Design detailed plans to rescue our local fellow practitioners currently in detention

Currently, there are still a lot of Dafa disciples “illegally detained” in detention centers, labor camps and prisons throughout China. In order to end the illegal detentions of Dafa disciples, local practitioners should be responsible for rescuing them. In some areas, the situation of Fa-rectification still lags behind. Some practitioners were sentenced to jails or labor camps a long time ago. Therefore, the local practitioners only focused on requesting their release from labor camps or jails. Sometimes, local practitioners were even afraid of requesting fellow practitioners' release. Actually, while focusing on calling for their release, we should also expose the people who were involved in the illegal arrest and illegal conviction.

The goal of rescuing our fellow practitioners is to expose the evil and save sentient beings. While rescuing our fellow practitioners, the evil is eliminated and sentient beings are saved. If we only focus on rescuing fellow practitioners, we often do not achieve the goal of completely stopping the illegal detentions. As the number of people who understand the truth increases, and as the strength to expose the evil gets stronger, our entire environment will get better. The evil elements will be greatly eliminated, and eventually none will exist.

5. Do well with studying the Fa, practicing the exercises and sending forth righteous thoughts

Master mentioned the importance of studying the “Fa” in every lecture. Actually, learning the Fa well is a guarantee for doing Dafa work well. Many practitioners have deep understandings regarding this issue while doing Fa-rectification work. Without deeper understandings of the Fa and without assimilating to the Fa, there is no rising of levels. Without wisdom, our work becomes powerless and noneffective. Only with the guidance from the Fa at high levels and by using higher standards, can we do well with everything during the continuously progressing Fa-rectification, better express Dafa's power and wisdom, better rescue fellow practitioners, and better introduce Dafa into every corner of society.

Practicing the exercises are also necessary. Actually, some practitioners are rather relaxed in practicing the exercises during the Fa-rectification period. They sometimes even use studying the Fa as an excuse to avoid practicing the exercises. In reality, without practicing the exercises, the transformation of our human body is slow, and our righteous thoughts are weak. We find that practitioners who regularly practice the exercises are all full of energy with a ruddy complexion, and their righteous thoughts are strong. More importantly, practicing the exercises can enhance our divine power, clean up our bodies, and make our righteous thoughts more effective in eliminating the evil.

Sending forth righteous thoughts is one of the “three things” we can never ignore. Master mentioned the importance of sending forth righteous thoughts in several lectures. Actually, Teacher is thoroughly rectifying the Fa without missing anything. However, Dafa disciples should eliminate the evil and evil elements interfering with Fa-rectification. This is an important mission of being a Fa-rectification practitioner. Every practitioner should believe in their power and do it well. Any form of interference and persecution is from the evil or evil elements. If we could effectively eliminate the evil, they would never dare to send Dafa disciples to labor camps and jails for persecution. Therefore, every Dafa disciple should keep sending forth righteous thoughts every day. The more we eliminate the evil, the easier it is for us to validate Dafa and save sentient beings, and the more effective it is for us to rescue our fellow practitioners.

6. Clarifying the truth thoroughly, better helping people quit the CCP, and introducing all Chinese people to oppose the persecution

As the truth is widely spread, more and more people understand Dafa. People gradually understand the true nature of the CCP which they have blindly trusted for many years. After understanding the goodness of Dafa and the evil nature of the CCP, many people will decide to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. As the number of people quitting the CCP increases, more and more people have a sense of justice and form a righteous power. Eventually, all the people in Mainland China will step forward to oppose the persecution. If all the people in Mainland China could cut their links with the CCP, the field which the evil depends on for survival would cease to exist. The detentions of Dafa disciples in labor camps and jails would no longer exist.

7. Dafa disciples in China and overseas work as a whole body

Since the beginning of the persecution, everything done by overseas practitioners was to validate Dafa, expose the evil, and back up the practitioners in China. Actually, the more powerful, widespread, and deeper the Fa-validation activities are by overseas practitioners, the more pressure the evil party will be under, and the faster the evil party will decompose.

There is an old story in Chinese history, “Sima Guang broke the water crock.” If China under the CCP is a big water crock, all the activities that overseas practitioners do, such as parades, anti-torture exhibitions, candlelight vigils, Minghui schools, and organ harvesting reenactments, are to break the “crock.” The “crock” is full of “water.” People live in the “water.” Whatever practitioners in China do, is to save the people in the “crock.” Although the crock is big, it starts to leak. Actually, every successful step in Fa-rectification is to break the “crock,” whether it is breaking through the CCP's Internet blockade, setting up a new “truth-clarification” materials production center, one more person understanding the truth, one more person quitting the CCP, one more practitioner being rescued, and righteous actions from human rights advocacy personnel. Therefore, if we want to completely stop the illegal detention of Dafa disciples in labor camps and jails, all the disciples should be steadfast as a whole body, coordinate well, and do well the three things. Since our goal is to “completely end the detentions,” if we reach the standard and the mindset of “completely ending the detentions,” labor camps and jails could no longer detain Dafa disciples.

The above is my personal understanding about “completely ending the illegal detention of Falun Dafa practitioners.” Please point out anything inappropriate.

After undergoing recent “xinxing” tribulations, I deeply understand that Dafa cultivation is most serious, and I have truly experienced how dangerous it is to hold human attachments in one hand, while cultivating Buddhahood with the other. I suffered greatly from illness karma, to the point of being at the brink of death.

It was in October 1998 that I was fortunate to start practicing Falun Dafa while I was suffering from various illness. I had bronchitis, in which I coughed and gasped all year round, along with serious diabetes, arthritis, in which I couldn't carry anything in my hands, and cramps in both hands and feet. All this endless pain and suffering made each day seem like a year to me.

Only a few months after I started cultivation practice, I truly enjoyed the state of being released from illness, for Master cleaned up my body from head to toe. Also, I got rid of all the bad habits, including smoking, that I was addicted to for 35 years, and playing cards, with which I gambled to kill time. Above all, I found the truth of life.

But after the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, I became lax in my cultivation practice. I was hit by fear, indecisiveness, and was totally lost. Yet with the warning and help of my younger sister (also a practitioner) who encouraged and inspired me, I was able to study the “Fa” more and to send forth righteous thoughts more often. Eventually, I returned to my cultivation path. I tried to do the “three things” well and closely follow the process of Fa-rectification.

During November 2006, I ignored Fa-study due to family trivialities. Thus, I encountered successive xinxing tribulations, which I failed, five times, to pass well. With one tribulation not yet passed, the second immediately arrived. Hence, it was getting harder each time. I was stuck in human thoughts and emotions, feeling frustration that my son was not as obedient and my mother-in-law was annoying. On November 27, signs of illness karma started to appear. I coughed and gasped so severely that I could not sleep at night. Within a single day, the tissues I used filled up a whole bucket. I did not eat for four or five days and I lost all my energy. With both hands and feet cramping, I could not even sit still. My son pressured me to see a doctor but I told him, “I know what is going on here. I can make it through this tribulation, and if not, then the doctors and hospitals won't be of any help. My Teacher taught us clearly about sickness karma when he imparted the Fa.” Hearing this, my son didn't reply.

The next day a Buddhist believer in our village came to visit me. He said, “Do not cultivate Falun Gong any more for your Law Wheel has already been deformed and the mechanisms placed in you by your Master are all gone too. I will give you something.” I did not reply, but thought that if he did not have an opened celestial eye, how did he know this? It must be interference again! Then he continued, “ I will teach you some curses tomorrow.” I suddenly remembered the Fa principle that Master taught in “Zhuan Falun:” “...in cultivation you need to commit to one discipline.” I enlightened and immediately answered, “Thanks but no thanks. I won't take anything from you. All I want is Dafa.” With these righteous words and thoughts, I became steadfast. He never showed up again.

However not long after this, I dropped from my level and found my face ashen when looking in the mirror. All my hair turned gray, my lips turned dark, and I had wrinkles all over on my face. I went up to a fellow practitioner and uttered breathlessly that he should cultivate diligently instead of slacking off like I had. At that time my whole body was shivering, while gasping for breath. This practitioner's wife happened to be at home, so I sobbed to her, “See? I've got all my illnesses back for not cultivating diligently and upgrading xinxing. I was just like this before cultivation. When I cultivated diligently, I was illness free, even not taking any medicine for years. See? Dafa is great and wonderful! But at the same time, we must be dignified and strict as well. Please do not interfere with your husband's cultivation any more, for practitioners have to strictly follow the Fa's requirements.” After saying this, I wailed. The fellow practitioner inspired me and said, “ You can't be like this! Remember? Last time, you told me to stand up straight where I fell, right? And you have to do the same.” I then thought, “That is right. We should not be afraid of falling, but we have to get up immediately. All the divine beings are watching me, while the old forces are staring covetously as well. I won't provide them with any loopholes. I am a Dafa Disciple in the Fa-rectification Period and I will not allow the old forces to interfere with me. I shall be steadfast.” Master's lectures started emerging in my brain, scene after scene. Then I felt I was renewed with energy and confidence.

Upon arriving home, I sat down and sent forth righteous thoughts. I added a thought of clearing up my mind and eliminating acquired notions. After that, I practiced the fifth exercise set, the meditation. But at this time, I could only meditate a little more than ten minutes. Following that, I again sent forth righteous thoughts. Later I enlightened that I could not let myself gasp and cough all the time. Wasn't this abetting the old forces and walking on the path they arranged for me? No, I shouldn't be like this. I had to eliminate it. So, after I coughed, I then sent forth a thought to eliminate a dark minion, and after another cough I sent, again, another thought to dissolve a rotten demon. Thus within two days, I could sleep at night for about ten minutes. I had a dream in which a voice told me, “You see it? This is your tomb. Go and have a look. I walked to this direction and came to a wasteland where only weeds grew. In the middle of the land was a big tomb with a large pit beside it. I said, “What a shabby place! I will not stay here.” And I stepped back. By this time, I woke up and was startled. How dangerous it was! Even the tomb was ready for me!

I then realized it was Master who enlightened me and let me know that while I was cultivating the Fa, I had human attachments firmly grasped in my hands. Hence my xinxing could not be raised. If I did not live according to the Fa's principles and requirements, I would not become divine, and instead could only remain human, a being who suffers from birth, aging, illness, and death. If I couldn't keep on doing well, then I would play a negative role in validating the Fa and fail in saving sentient beings, which would bring about great loss or damage to the Fa. Was this allowed? Absolutely not! Cultivation practice is very serious, and the Fa is very compassionate, but strict and awesome as well.

My mind was clear with righteous thoughts and I had physical energy so I acted righteously. I made great changes every day. I practiced the five sets of exercises. I went to visit my mother, who did not publicly oppose Dafa, yet she would say something against it every now and then. This was a very good chance for me to validate Dafa to her. I rode on a motorbike to her home. Upon stepping in the room, I cried aloud, gasping and shaking at the same time, “Aren't you seeing it? You always urged us not to practice, and this is the result of not practicing well and not following Master's words.” My parents were both shocked. My mother replied in a rush, “I never said you shouldn't cultivate. I know that this cultivation practice is really good. I just do not want you to be arrested and suffer all the tortures.” My father told me, “Go and sit on the Kang (a brick-and-mud made bed especially for Northern Chinese) and I will cook you some noodles and eggs.” I answered, “I do not have any appetite. I've almost had nothing for four or five days.” My father (also a practitioner) then said, “No problem, you can eat them all.” And it was really odd that I finished the whole bowl of noodles plus two eggs. My younger brother, not a practitioner, pressured me to go to the hospital. I then countered, “You know little about cultivation. In our books it talks a lot about illness karma. If I treat it righteously, I will make it, but if I fail I will not survive, even in hospitals. Cultivation practice is indeed very serious, more serious than anything in the human world. And this time I did not do well, so I got all the old illnesses back. Also, in fact because your third elder sister did not do well, she passed away.” I used this opportunity to change their notions against Dafa, as I knew it was definitely good for them. My mother and younger brother kept silent and I knew they were thinking. I comforted them with words and rode back home. On my way home, I cried out loud, “Falun Dafa is good!”

That night I slept well. Again, I had a dream in which I was walking and came to a well which was not round but square. I passed it, but when I looked back I fell down into the well. Inside the well there were many bricks. I stepped on them, and with great effort, I climbed out. After I woke up, I then knew it was Master's hint that the path of validating the Fa is not easy to walk on at all. It was dangerous. I breathed a sigh of relief.

When I could not sleep, I sat up and sent forth righteous thoughts, and practiced meditation and sent forth righteous thoughts again. I then looked within from the Fa perspective. I examined carefully, one attachment after another. When I found one, I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate it, knowing that this thought was not me, but an acquired notion that I had let go of. All I wanted was the original self which is my true self. Two days later, I was able to practice the exercises with no difficulty. I felt so wonderful and in great ease while practicing, so whenever I had time I would practice. Thus within seven days I totally recovered.

When a practitioner came again to visit me, she said, “You've made it! You are great! Do you know that you really scared me the other day? (Her celestial eye was open) I saw your body was just as weak and feeble as mud, and there were four or five evil round things seizing you tightly. And your main soul was nowhere to be found. But I didn't dare to tell you at that time, so I sent forth righteous thoughts for you to eliminate all the dark minions and rotten demons. And hopefully together with your strong righteous thoughts, their vile attempts of persecuting you has failed.” Wow! How risky it was! My experience improved my understanding about the danger brought about by practicing while holding tightly to human attachments. And I also was enlightened by the principle, “When disciples have ample righteous thoughts, Master has the power to turn back the tide” (“The Master-Disciple Bond” from Hong Yin II, translation version A).

(Clearwisdom.net) Approximately six lawyers wrote to the court regarding the illegal trial of Wang Bo and her family. This was a good start. It has declared to the whole world that although the evil party is very tyrannical, people still bravely stood up under heavy political pressure. It is a good opportunity to completely disintegrate the evil's headquarters. The center of evil is in Beijing. All Falun Dafa practitioners inside and outside of China should cooperate with each other. The practitioners in China should especially cooperate with each other, communicate in a timely way and make appropriate adjustments. Coordination as one body that I mentioned does not refer to a phone team making phone calls, but everyone should try his best to make phone calls and send emails throughout the whole country in order to distribute materials exposing the incident and the lawyers' letters. If more people know the truth, the evil will be eliminated in front of the truth.

In our local area, there was a good rescue like this. Practitioner A was “illegally sentenced” and sent to a labor camp. In the beginning, his family and other fellow practitioners went to the labor camp and requested the release of practitioner A. The guards were very rude and unreasonable. When they returned from the camp, we shared our understanding and thought that each of us should treat this thing as our own matter and we should send letters to them, even if it was only one sentence. As a result, fellow practitioners' letters fell on the camp like snowflakes, carrying benevolence and energy. After that, we went to the camp again. The guards had completely changed. They actively offered the release on bail to practitioner A (Of course, practitioner A did very well also).

I understand that many opportunities regarding the issue of Wang Bo and her family have been created. Now, it is time to see how all Dafa practitioners coordinate. If we can coordinate well in this matter, it can disintegrate the evil's root. And at the same time, it will greatly encourage the Chinese people to resist the evil with justice. Of course, we should not be attached to any specific result.

Let's act now. When one practitioner is persecuted, everyone should become concerned with benevolence and righteous thoughts, and the evil will definitely be defeated. At the same time, people's sense of justice and righteousness will be encouraged.

(Clearwisdom.net) I started practicing Falun Gong three years after I joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Two years ago, I used a pseudonym to declare on The Epoch Times website that I quit the CCP and its Youth League, as well as the Young Pioneers. However, in an everyday person’s eyes, I was still a CCP member. Because the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners did not appear severe at my workplace, and my salary and job title did not seem affected, I considered that my request to quit the CCP might bring inconvenience to the officials. Recently, some practitioners at my workplace were arrested for distributing “truth-clarification” materials. The officials tightened the situation, and “talked” with me several times.

When the persecution started on July 20, 1999, my Fa-study was insufficient and my “xinxing” level was low. I also did not truly realize what cultivation was. When everyone was asked if they practiced Dafa, I wrote a statement giving up the practice, although I still practiced at home. Later, through studying Teacher’s articles, I slowly came to understand cultivation and the Fa-rectification. I also came to understand validating the “Fa,” saving sentient beings, and the deep significance of a Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple. I realized that my previous action was actually yielding to the evil, something a Fa-rectification Period Dafa disciple should not do. Therefore, I wrote a Solemn Declaration.

I decided to clarify the truth and validate the Fa openly and nobly. When an official came to speak to me, I talked about the physical improvement I had experienced since beginning my cultivation. I previously had heart disease, insomnia and other diseases, and was pessimistic and depressed. After I started Falun Dafa practice, all these diseases disappeared, and my physical health as well as my mood became better and better.

The officials said, “You are a CCP member. Our nation does not allow CCP members to practice Falun Gong, so you have to choose between these two.” I said, “Then I will request to quit the CCP. I cannot agree with atheism, as I have experienced the existence of God.” They told me to write a statement requesting to quit the CCP. I also clarified the truth to them, but they would not listen, due to their deep poisoning by the party culture.

I immediately wrote a statement requesting to quit the CCP. On the following day, I was told there would be voting meeting to decide this. Upon hearing that, my attachment of zealotry surfaced. “I thought I would be reprimanded because of the request, and did not expect such a problem could be resolved so quickly. In this way, the blemish on me will be removed.” The old forces took advantage of my zealotry. Several minutes before the meeting, I was told it was canceled, that the Party Secretary would talk with me in person, and that a decision would be made afterwards.

Nothing happened for twenty days. During that period of time, fellow practitioners were concerned if something would happen. Some of my own human thoughts also surfaced. “The CCP is sinister. How can it allow me to quit so easily? What if it’s checking some evidence so as to threaten me to withdraw the request?” I also had the attachment of fear. “What if this causes further persecution? Since we can quit the CCP using pseudonyms, practitioners do not necessarily need to quit the CCP using their real names.” I wrote a short supplementary statement: “If officials have other options in mind, I will consider them and can withdraw the request.” However, I felt uneasy after writing this supplementary statement. I thought, “Isn’t this yielding to the evil?” so I did not submit it. Then I thought, “How can I not yield, and meanwhile avoid the persecution? If the evil did not exist, wouldn't the persecution be over?”

I suddenly realized that Teacher asked us to “Thoroughly Dissolve the Evil.” I decided to intensively send forth righteous thoughts, and I asked other practitioners to join me.

At first, I was no longer attached to the issue of quitting the CCP. Instead, I calmed down to study and memorize the Fa. I also intensified sending forth righteous thoughts to disintegrate the evil. Meanwhile, I looked within to see where I had loopholes of which the old forces could take advantage. Through further Fa-study and enlightenment from Teacher, as well as discussions with fellow practitioners and observation of some everyday incidents, I noticed many omissions in myself. They included not paying much attention to everyday work, having strong attachments to accomplishments, being attached to myself, competing with others, using radical or irrational words when talking with others, lacking compassion, seeking comfort, and sleeping when sending forth righteous thoughts or during the sitting meditation. After finding these omissions, I immediately started correcting them. I tried to balance my time better, and do well in every aspect.

Twenty days later, the Party Secretary asked me to talk with him. I was a little nervous when first receiving the notice, but then I sent forth righteous thoughts and asked Teacher to help me. I also kept sending forth righteous thoughts after arriving there. The Party Secretary said he had heard that I requested to quit the CCP and wanted like to know more. Since I was educated and clear-headed, he wanted to know why I wanted to quit the Party. He said he had just returned from a business trip. I told him about my physical improvement after practicing Falun Gong, as well as my belief in the existence of gods. I said that I could not agree with the CCP’s atheism, and that I experienced the existence of gods myself. The first day after reading “Zhuan Falun,” the insomnia that had bothered me for decades was gone. The heart disease and other diseases were also gone within several days. These facts made me believe in the existence of high-level beings beyond the realm of humans. The CCP is based on atheism, which is contrary to what I had experienced. The Party Secretary said he understood and agreed it made no sense to force me to believe in the CCP. He said my request would be approved through the regular channels, then he asked me not to gather with other practitioners and not to distribute truth-clarification materials. He said that if I were to be arrested, it would be troublesome to both myself and to the workplace. Two days later, I smoothly quit the CCP.

My quitting the CCP validated Dafa to a certain extent, and it was a shock to everyday people. They may wonder why Falun Gong is so powerful that one would give up Party membership. Some colleagues came to me and asked what had happened. I used this opportunity to clarify the truth to them. I had already told some close co-workers, friends and relatives that heaven will eliminate the CCP, and that one can seek a safe future only by quitting the CCP. I told them to look on the Internet for information for the 270 million-year-old rock bearing the characters reading that the CCP would be abolished. I told them to make sure to read truth-clarification mail or emails, and that one could follow the information there to quit the CCP. So far, four people have declared their renunciation of the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

Through this process, my xinxing has improved dramatically. Much of my attachment to fear was also eliminated. My belief in Teacher and Dafa is more firm. I realized that as long as we follow the requirements of Teacher and Dafa, things will have very good results, and even undesirable things can have a good ending. The critical thing for us is to let go of life and death, and to validate the Fa. If we truly meet the requirements for Dafa disciples, the evil will be completely disintegrated and the persecution will end.

(Clearwisdom.net) At Master's request, Falun Dafa disciples have been doing the “three things” well since 2005, and the environment has become more and more relaxed. But occasional arrests of fellow practitioners still happen. I think that we Falun Dafa disciples as a whole, have gaps and barriers of which the evil takes advantage.

I'd like to share my view of security.

Firstly, fundamental security assurance comes from studying the Fa well. We should study the Fa even when we are busy or when we have full schedules. Once we study the Fa well, we keep our righteous thoughts firm, and when we “clarify the facts” of Falun Gong it is based on the Fa instead of our attachments and notions.

For example, one person stared at me and said that he would report me when I was clarifying the facts about Falun Gong. A bystander said, “How dare you talk about Falun Gong with him, as he works in the “610 Office”.” I thought that no matter what his job is, I came to save people, not to be reported. I said kindly, “I felt you were kind, so I told you this for your own benefit, for your health and safety.” He then smiled. I told him that no matter who you were, you would be blessed if you exclaimed truly from your heart that 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance' was good.” He asked if it was necessary to yell it out. I told him that speaking the words in his heart had the same effect. In the end, he kept nodding.

Secondly, we should make up for the shortcomings of fellow practitioners who have inadequate righteous thoughts when sending forth righteous thoughts. I heard from fellow practitioners that some have strong righteous thoughts, some have a weak effect, while some don't have any effect. The evil exploits the weaknesses. To reduce losses and suppress the persecution, when sending forth righteous thoughts at the four scheduled times, completely eliminate the persecution of Dafa disciples by the dark minions, rotten demons, and old forces. Thoroughly dissolve the evil beings and elements that persecute Dafa disciples and clear away the evil circumstances under which Dafa disciples are persecuted in mainland China. Do the same when sending forth righteous thoughts at any other time. In addition, dissolve local evils, immobilize wicked people, wicked police, and violent persons, and make it so no one can see Dafa disciples distributing Falun Gong handouts. This will make up for the shortcomings of fellow practitioners who have inadequate righteous thoughts. It will suppress the evil efficiently, improve us and elevate us as a whole, and allow Dafa disciples to escape from harm.

Thirdly, our energy fields should be pure while allowing things to happen naturally when we deliver handouts on the facts of Falun Gong. Send forth righteous thoughts while distributing handouts. Purify our energy fields. Master's law bodies are always with us and will warn us when necessary. While I am walking, I am sending forth righteous thoughts, so wicked people cannot see me. Wicked people, wicked police and violent persons are immobilized. No one can see Dafa disciples delivering handouts. A handout is a Fa-implement, and people with predestined relationships will pass the information to others, one to ten, ten to a hundred, and they will be blessed. I discovered that doing it this way corrected my shortcomings about sending forth righteous thoughts. I have been doing it like this for a couple of years. As long as our thinking and actions are based on the Fa, Master will protect us anywhere and at any time.

(Clearwisdom.net) One day I decided to ride my bike to a village to “clarify the truth” and post materials. Before setting out, I first sent forth righteous thoughts, and after arriving there, I took out the truth-clarification flyers and posted them on walls and cement pillars.

At this moment, an old lady with firewood in her arms saw the posted flyers. Because it was during the day, I glanced at her and continued posting the flyers. After crossing a narrow bridge, I posted all of my flyers in the village. But the bridge was the only exit from the village, and when I came back to it, I saw two burly men with fierce looks on their faces. They rasped: “Get off your bike!” I thought the old lady must have reported me.

I didn't feel scared, but immediately thought of what Teacher said. Freeze the wicked evildoers by righteous thoughts. My mind was calm and without fear. I sent forth the strong righteous thought, “Freeze!” and both of them really froze like stakes. I rode my bike, passing them, and after a while I looked back and saw they were still standing there. I thought I shouldn't let them stand there for too long, and hence I sent a thought, “relax.” As soon as this thought came out, the two men turned about and stared at me.

With Teacher's merciful protection, I arrived safely back at home, and I thought, “They could have easily caught me. At a critical moment, one's righteous thoughts are very important.”

This made me understand that only by believing in Teacher and the Fa and studying the Fa well can we have strong righteous thoughts and leave no loopholes for the evil. At critical moments, righteous thoughts come from our solid understandings of the Fa principles. But in the surface dimension, we should also be careful, and not go to any extremes.

(Clearwisdom.net) I have survived seven years of trials and tribulations because of teacher's benevolent protection. When we are faced with thorny interferences and our own attachments, we will be able to overcome them with righteous thoughts and righteous actions.

Master has the power to turn back the tide” (Hong Yin Volume II)

One day, at the forced labor camp, a fellow practitioner was being shocked with electronic batons and beaten by inmates after she shouted, “Falun Dafa is good.” When witnessing the many guards and inmates surrounding the practitioner, I did not hold hatred in my heart, but compassion. I shouted “Falun Dafa is good,” which shocked the guards. The inmate who was monitoring me cried. Later, a police officer said, “I did not know that you were that bold. You Falun Gong practitioners are unbelievable.” The inmate said, “You are different from us. There is something sacred about you guys.” When I was coughing, she offered to keep on the look out for trouble, so I could practice. When I recovered after some severe cough attacks in no time, they were convinced. They said, “We were not convinced when you were talking about the benefits of Falun Dafa. Now, we see it with our eyes. Falun Gong is magical.” I enlightened, as long as we immerse ourselves into the Fa and conduct ourselves as practitioners, hold righteous thoughts and have righteous actions, the Fa's power will manifest and we will not stumble.

When faced with inhuman and cruel torture, when you have to choose righteous faith despite excruciating pain, as long as you keep a strong mind and righteous thoughts, you will not stumble.

Soon after the persecution started, the police confiscated Teacher's portrait from my house. When I came home, looking at the empty wall, I felt like a fish out of water. I thought, “I cannot live without the Fa. Yet, I was stopped from taking action by all kinds of notions and attachments. I hesitated. In the end, after talking about it with my family members, we went to the police station and spoke to the director. Although we were kind and tried to “clarify the truth” to the director, we did not have righteous thoughts. He refused to return the portrait. I got a little impatient and thought, “What should I do?” I then realized that I have teacher at my side and I have the Fa. Why don't I just let go of my fear completely! I said to him firmly, “I have said all I needed to say. No one can take Falun Dafa practitioners' things without a second thought.” He then changed his mind and agreed to return teacher's portrait.

The reason some practitioners cannot step forward is because of fear. They do not realize that the fear is not my original self. I suggest “be determined” and the fear will disappear.

One time, a practitioner was arrested who had truth clarification materials I had given to him. On the second day, when I did not see him, I had a funny feeling. So, I sent forth righteous thoughts. On the third day, I heard that he had been arrested, and I began to waver. At this point, a sentence from “Zhuan Falun” came to my mind, “...other people’s supernormal abilities cannot reach me at all. Nobody is able to understand me or know what is on my mind.” That's right. How did I forget? No one can put Dafa to a test. The old forces are not fit to test the practitioners, nor the dark minions, behind the scene helper helpers, or evil spirits. If they control some beings to do evil, they are also damaging these beings. We can never acknowledge the arrangements of the old forces. In order to save sentient beings, we have to disintegrate the evil.

In those days, whether I was studying the Fa or carrying on in my daily life, some invisible pressure almost suffocated me. I even heard something like, “Don't worry. We will not arrest you. We will let you go. We only need to know a little bit.” I almost succumbed. Then I thought, I am acknowledging the old forces arrangements and putting my fellow practitioners at risk as well as those beings used by the evil. No, I cannot do that! I kept my righteous thoughts. After some time, the arrested practitioner, due to fear and wanting to be released, revealed to the evil people information about other practitioners. However, he did not mention my name, even though he had the materials I gave him. (I was not very pure, very selfish). I enlightened that fear and attachments, human mentalities, and notions are nothing. Dark minions, evil spirits and rotten minions are nothing. Just as Teacher said in Zhuan Falun,

“Actually, I say that they are not formidable and are nothing before a true practitioner. Though you may find one that has practiced cultivation for nearly one thousand years, a tiny finger will be more than enough to crush it.”

The crux of the matter is that we have to study the Fa well and determinedly look within. Sometimes we cannot find our attachments, remain angry and cannot calm down. Or we may have more or less acknowledged the arrangements by the old forces. As long as we calm down when studying the Fa and keep our righteous thoughts and strengthen them, we can pull through. Teacher said,

“If you can commit your mind, no difficulties can stop you. I would say that there is not a problem.” (Zhuan Falun)

A short while ago, three of us (A, B and myself) were trying to get on the Internet with some software that can break through the Internet blockade. No matter which software I picked, my fellow practitioner A had something to say. Therefore, I said, “We should cooperate with each other and strengthen our righteous thoughts. We should not blame each other before we have even started. None of us is an IT expert. The old forces will take advantage of our loopholes.” Practitioner B responded, “why should we cooperate with you all the time? Why do you not cooperate with other people? You are always so superior and impose your will on us.” For safety reasons, I got off the Internet and said, “Let's talk about this and look within.”

This just opened up a can of worms. They started to complain about me, including things that I do not even remember. I felt that I was a good for nothing. I have always been very sensitive. I thought, “It was all my fault. What about you guys?” I tried to check myself and hoped to have a chance to explain. But in the end, the focus was still on me and it was all my fault. They even said that they did this for my own good and that I will thank them in the future.

I was so upset. I thought that since I was a practitioner with such conflicts, I must have some strong attachments. At this time, I could not find my shortcomings. I told myself that I have to keep my “xinxing.” So I said, “Let me think about it.”

After a few days, when I finally settled down to study the Fa, I read “Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital,”

“Cultivation is about cultivating one's self. No matter what kind of state emerges, you need to take a hard look at yourself. I can tell you, if an ordinary person is able to look at himself whenever he encounters problems, he will become what ordinary people call a sage. When a Dafa disciple has a hard time with something and needs to think things over, he should look for things starting with himself and do things in line with the environment needed by Dafa disciples and the Fa-rectification. When a problem occurs, it is because that person is stubbornly going against the Fa principles. Go and find where the problem lies, let go of that stubbornness, and sort things out. When you encounter something, the best approach is not to charge forward and contend with others, push your way to the front, and rush forward to chase down the solution. Let go of your attachment, take a step back, and then resolve it. (Applause) If whenever something happens you instantly jump into who's right, whose problem it is, and how you have done, then while on the surface it looks like you are resolving the conflict or tension, in reality that's not the case at all. On the surface it looks plenty rational, but in reality that's not rational at all. You haven't taken a step back and fully cast off your attachment, and then thought the issue over. Only after a person calmly and peacefully withdraws from a conflict and then looks at it can he truly resolve it.”

I realize that this is all targeting my human mentalities, including the way I do things and the reflections of the communist party culture. I found that I was standing on the point of selfishness and did not look at it from the Fa's point of view. When I found my wrong notions and became determined to let them go, I realized the preciousness of my fellow practitioners and realized what it is to think from other people's perspective. Now, I have reached another realm.

I heard that practitioners, when faced with tribulations, wanting to do well and achieving the standards, still hold on to the Fa and humanness at the same time. In the end, they could not pass the test, and complained that it was too difficult, and that they could not overcome this problem. I think as Dafa practitioners, when doing the “three things,” if we can keep our righteous thoughts, and be determined to do the three things well, and also follow teacher, nothing can stop us.

We have to remember what Teacher said, “When it’s difficult to endure, you can endure it. When it’s impossible to do, you can do it.” (Zhuan Falun)

Let us advance diligently together.

(Clearwisdom.net) When I do something well, I often feel as though I have achieved something. On the other hand, when I do something poorly, or when others criticize my shortcomings, I feel guilty. Consequently, I sometimes felt depressed with a strong attachment to self-blame.

After I started practicing Falun Dafa, I fell into the habit of blaming myself from time to time. I often blamed myself and could not get out of the habit, either because I unconsciously hurt others by what I said, because I didn't pass a test or tribulation well, or because I felt it was my fault when others refused to make the “three withdrawals” (to quit the Chinese Communist Party, the Communist Youth League, and the Young Pioneers). Actually, the attachment to self-blame was a cover for many attachments such as competitiveness, showing off, jealousy, etc.

I knew that this state of mind was not correct, so I began to dig out the roots of this attachment. In the process I found the manifestation of attachments to reputation, interests, and sentimentality in my thoughts. On the path of cultivation, it played a negative role. Fellow practitioners who have walked crooked paths should pay special attention to the harm resulting from such an attachment.

Today when I studied again Teacher's Fa,

“I don’t like it when you blame yourselves, it’s completely pointless. I’ll just repeat what I said: If you’ve fallen don’t just lie there, get up right away! ” (“Fa-Lecture During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference”)

I was enlightened to the fact that Teacher has enabled us to remove our attachments to self-blame, which is an ordinary attachment. Yet, in the past I only regarded this as Teacher's encouragement for us to walk well the path of future cultivation.

Self-blame is of no use at all. The key is that we walk well our future path. Let's clearly recognize the pointlessness of self-blame and remove it.

(Clearwisdom.net) Once upon a time, there was a monk who cultivated in a temple. He was very diligent. At the time, the country was overrun by robbers and they were like savages. One night, a deity told the monk in a dream, “You are going to die tomorrow. There is a robber named Zhu Er, who rides a white horse. You owe him from a previous lives. You will not be able to avoid him this time.” The monk begged the deity, “I did many good things during this lifetime, I'm begging you to save me.” The deity said, “No, I cannot save you. Only you can save yourself.”

The next morning, a robber really showed up and took the monk captive. The robber demanded that the monk take him to the treasure and women. The monk noticed that the robbers horse was white and immediately remembered the dream of the previous night. He said to himself, “I have accumulated much karma, enough to cost me my life. If I take him to rob the treasure and give him the opportunity to rape women, I will gain more karma on top of my existing karma.” Therefore, he said to the robber, “I will not take you anywhere. Aren't you Zhu Er? I would rather have you kill me. It's enough for you to kill just me.”

The “karma” the monk talked about, is a black substance that exists in another dimension. When people commit bad deeds, they accumulate this black substance. This karma is the root cause for all illnesses, disasters and misfortunes one suffers. It is discussed in detail in the Falun Dafa book “Zhuan Falun.”

The robber was shocked to hear the monk's words. He asked, “How did you know my name? You must be a monk who has achieved a divine nature!” Then, the monk told him about his dream.

After hearing about the dream, the robber regretted deeply his misdeeds. He threw his weapon to the ground and said, “How could there possibly be an end to this karmic repayment! Although the deity said he couldn't save you, he already did. You did not lead me to commit more crimes. This is what saved you! From now on, all the karmic hatred between you and I is dispelled.” He then knelled in front of the statue and worshiped for quite some time, and then he left.

This story showed the absolute truth. Good deeds will bring rewards and bad deeds will result in retribution! Because of the monk's one benevolent thought, he saved himself and others. There is a proverb, “The inherent nature of man is good at his birth.” This robber Zhu Er had not been turned all bad, but could enlighten to the truth and still held goodness in his heart. He understood the principal, “There is no end to karmic repayment!” He forgave the monk, and benevolently resolved the karmic hatred of several lifetimes. He also changed from an evil to a good person. This is the best that could have happened! All this originated with the compassionate hint from the deity. Indeed, when people truly believe in deities and are respectful to Buddhas, the deities and Buddhas will be compassionate and help people.

When I was little, I followed my grandma to learn Dafa. At that time, because of my young age and limited education, I didn't study the Fa well. Once I was clarifying the truth at school and was found out by the principal. Since then he often “talked” to me about this. Unable to stand the constant harassment, I said “No more practice of Falun Gong” to the principal. After that I was very depressed and could not muster my courage to strive diligently. Now looking back I realized I was in fact walking the path arranged by the old forces. I hereby solemnly declare what I said before that did not conform to Dafa void and nullified. I will strive to be a qualified Dafa disciple.

(Clearwisdom.net) A "solemn declaration" is a person's public statement declaring to the world that whatever he or she has done or said under duress or deception that was against Falun Dafa is null and void. Most of these statements have come from Falun Dafa practitioners in China who wished to express regret that, in the face of physical torture and brainwashing, they had signed documents renouncing Dafa and guaranteeing not to practice again. Also, as more and more people in China learn the truth about how they have been deceived and lied to by the Jiang regime, many non-practitioners are also submitting "solemn declarations."
