Ms. Song Ping Once Again Detained in Xili Brainwashing Center in Shenzhen City

December 08, 2007 |

(Clearwisdom.net) In September 2007, Falun Gong practitioner Song Ping went to Jiangsu Province to visit her relatives. Ms. Song lives in the Futian District of Shenzhen City. Policemen arrested her at the train station in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu. In late October, she was detained at the Legal Administration School in Xili, Shenzhen, where she has been subjected to brainwashing.

When the persecution started in 1999, Song Ping went to Tiananmen Square with other practitioners to display a large banner that read, "Falun Dafa is Good!" After that, she was sentenced to one year in jail and detained at Shaoguan Women's Prison in Guangdong Province (now called the Guangzhou City Women's Prison). She suffered brutal and inhumane torture there.

In April 2001, Song Ping was released. Soon after that, in June 2001, she was arrested again in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province for distributing Falun Gong truth-clarification materials. She was sentenced to a 5-year-term and imprisoned in Nantong Women's Prison in Jiangsu Province.

In May 2006, when Ms. Song's term was completed, the prison authorities told her family that she was suffering from leukemia and would die soon. However, with her firm belief in Dafa, she has recovered.

On September 30, 2006, Ms. Song went to the Nanyuan Police Station in Shenzhen to get her citizen identification card so that she could find a job. However, she was arrested there and detained at the Legal Administration School in Xili to be brainwashed.

After the news of her detainment was exposed, practitioners outside China were able to secure her release last year.

In September 2007, Ms. Song went to Jiangsu Province to visit her relatives, but she was arrested by local police at the train station. In late October, she was once again detained in Xili Legal Administration School to be brainwashed.
