Recently my state was not good because I did not study the Fa well, and slacked off in doing well the three things. I had thought of adjusting my state first and then extending my greetings to compassionate great Master in the Chinese Lunar New Year. Later when I read fellow practitioners' articles on the Minghui website, I understood that disciples' holiday greetings to revered Master are not only to express disciples' boundless feelings and gratitude to revered Master, but also play a role in negating the old forces' arrangements, eliminating the evil, strengthening righteous thoughts and saving sentient beings.

My mother-in-law saved over 2,000 yuan in medical expenditure after she studied the Fa for one and a half years. (Clearwisdom.net) On November 1, 2006, Ms. Cao Aihua from Aksu City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region was arrested and taken to the Women's Forced Labor Camp of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corporation. When her husband visited her at the forced labor camp and brought some daily necessities, Ms. Cao told him that the guards in the labor camp had beaten and sworn at her. Her husband had to return home in a rush to deal with an urgent family matter, but only a few days after he returned home, he was informed that his wife had died on November 13.

Ms. Cao Aihua's remains are not at a funeral parlor yet. Her husband said that he and his family asked for her remains. When cleaning his wife's body, he found a large injury on her back. He believes that his wife died after suffering injuries as a result of severe beatings.

Ms. Chao Aihua's husband, son and younger brother demanded that the authorities punish the people responsible for her death. However, staff from the forced labor camp and the procuratorate show no interest in this murder case. After what happened to Ms. Chao was exposed, the guards from the Xinjiang Women's Forced Labor Camp have tried to keep their crimes hidden.

Currently, in addition to dealing with the tragic death of a loved one, Ms. Chao's family is being pressured severely by the Chinese Communist Party. They dare not receive phone calls, and there are no lawyers who dare to uphold justice for them. They call on the international community and Falun Gong practitioners worldwide for help regarding the beating death of Ms. Cao.

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yu Xinhui, 39 years old, lived in Tianhe District and began practicing Dafa in 1994. He was arrested by the Haizhu District 610 Office agents in Guangzhou City in June 2001 and was held at the Huanghua Road Detention Center. The persecutors sent him secretly to the Chatou Detention Center in the Baiyun District in October 2001. His family was prohibited to visit him. Then, late in 2003, Mr. Yu was sentenced to six years in prison and was held at Division 3 at the Sihui Prison in Guangdong Province.

Two prison heads, one guard and six inmates at that prison tortured him physically and abused him psychologically in an attempt to "reform" him. They didn't give Mr. Yu enough food for three months, deprived him of sleep, and otherwise tortured, beat and verbally attacked him to try to coerce him to renounce his belief. This gross abuse made Mr. Yu Xinhui experience difficulty walking. He also suffered from severe abdominal pain, insomnia, vomiting and inability to keep food down.

Guangdong Province Judicial Bureau and Hunan Province "610 Office" agents encouraged the guards to torture Yu Xinhui and other Dafa practitioners in December 2004 by promising the guards promotions.

Yu Xinhui never wavered in his belief in Dafa. Although he was extremely weak from the abuse, the prison authorities escalated the persecution, calling it "treating his illness." They sent him to the prison hospital, where they injected him with various types of painkillers, anesthetic drugs, and other substances in massive doses. Yu Xinhui experienced bowel and bladder difficulties, blurry vision and enlarged pupils from the involuntary drug overdose.

Six years of abuse under the persecution have left Mr. Yu Xinhui emaciated. His family confronted guard Liang Dachen and another guard at Division 3, "Who will take responsibility if Yu Xinhui dies in the prison?" The two guards said to them coldly, "The prison won't take any responsibility for his death."

Yu Xinhui's family asked prison authorities early in 2006 to release him because they wanted him to have a thorough medical examination, but Executive Criminal Law Section prison head Ou said, "Yu Xinhui's condition is only a second-degree illness instead of first-degree illness" and refused to release him and ignored his condition.

Yu Xinhui's abdomen was enlarged in early 2006 and he vomited blood in July and August 2006. The medical staff at the prison said that Yu Xinhui is lucky he didn't die at the prison.

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Liu Junhua, a practitioner from Jiamusi City, was arrested on the evening of April 8, 2002 by officers from the Nanwei Police Station in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province. He was sentenced to ten years in prison by the Dongfeng District Court in Jiamusi City. Mr. Liu is being held in the Jiamusi Prison for persecution.

In order to protest against the unlawful arrest and detention, Mr. Liu has been on a hunger strike since December. He has been tortured to the brink of death, and his life is in imminent danger. He was sent to the Lianjiangkou Prison Hospital for continued persecution.

We appeal to all kindhearted people to extend their support in demanding the immediate and unconditional release of Mr. Liu Junhua, as well as all Falun Dafa practitioners unlawfully imprisoned.

(Clearwisdom.net) Since April 23, 2006, agents from the local 610 Office of the National Security Team, headed by Pi Fuguo and He Kun, and local police station personnel, headed by Hou Changzhou in Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province, have illegally arrested more than 30 Falun Dafa practitioners including Xian Lijie. They illegally confiscated the private property of practitioners and persecuted Zhang Shunlong to death. Practitioners persecuted in Liaoyuan City are now calling for fellow practitioners overseas to submit the following request to the United Nations Human Rights Commission, the International Criminal Court, and the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong, asking that they file lawsuits against the persecutors.

We hereby, on behalf of Falun Dafa practitioners illegally detained in detention centers in Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province, P.R. China, and also on behalf of practitioner Zhang Shunlong who died from the persecution, request that a lawsuit be filed with the United Nations Human Rights Committee, the International Criminal Court, and the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong against the following defendants.

I. Unconditionally release nine Falun Gong practitioners: Ms. Xiang Lijie (about 40 years old), Mr. Zhao Yan (about 30 years old), Mr. Liu Quanxing (40 to 50 years old), Mr. Liu Duansheng, Mr. Zhang Shunhong (about 30 years old, Mr. Zhang Shunlong's younger brother), Mr. Luan Aijun, Ms. Liu Xiangzhuo (Mr. Zhang Shunhong's wife, about 30 years old), Ms. Lu Chunyun (50 to 60 years old), and Ms. Wang Xiangren (Mr. Luan Aijun's wife), who have been illegally detained for eight months.

II. Investigate the criminal liability of all defendants, penalize all units and individuals who participated in the persecution under existing law, and bring to justice the criminal/criminals responsible for the murder of practitioner Mr. Zhang Shunlong.

III. Compensation for all direct and indirect financial losses suffered by practitioners illegally detained and the practitioner who was persecuted to death, as well as losses to practitioners' relatives. Furthermore, we demand compensation for all personal injuries and death.

These defendants broke into practitioners' homes and arrested more than 30 practitioners. They confiscated practitioners' private property, including computers, printers and cash. Practitioners were either taken to a labor camp or the perpetrators extorted large amounts of money and property. Today, there are still nine Dafa practitioners illegally detained in the Liaoyuan City Detention Center. During the past eight months, Ms. Xiang Lijie and others have protested the persecution through hunger strikes. They suffered inhuman torture. Xiang Lijie was tied to the tiger bench and to a steel-wired bed with her arms and legs stretched. She was also brutally force-fed. Due to the torture Ms. Xiang suffered, she is now incontinent and vomits blood.

Guards of the Liaoyuan City Detention Center, including Pi Fuguo, He Kun, Hou Changzhou, and others, tortured Ms. Xiang Lijie and other practitioners using many torture methods. They tried to illicit false confessions through torture, including force-feeding practitioners who held hunger strikes.

Practitioner Ms. Lu Chunyun, a teacher at the Liaoyuan Health School, had donated all her savings (60,000 yuan) for building crossroads, yet has been illegally imprisoned in a labor camp, cruelly beaten by guards and suffered many different torture methods. On the evening of April 22, 2006, Ms. Lu Chunyun was arrested by Han Dong, the police chief of Longshan Police Station when distributing truth-clarification materials. She was then illegally tied to the iron chair for one day. Police officers Lian Weihua, Jiang Yang, and others asked Ms. Lu Chunyun to reveal the source of the materials. As Ms. Lu refused to reveal the source, they kicked her violently four times. Later Ms. Lu Chunyun was detained in the detention center. The police confiscated 320,000 yuan, which has not been returned. Lu Chunyun went on a hunger strike in the detention center, and was force-fed several times by guards Luo Dongmei and Chief Hong Meidong. She is extremely weak and emaciated. Doctor Zhang at the detention center and guard Luo Dongmei put her in shackles and force-fed her.

Practitioners detained at Liaoyuan City Detention Center are not allowed visits from family and friends. Friends and family members are very concerned and have filed lawsuits, which were not accepted by the court. Guards at the Liaoyuan City Detention Center continue the inhuman persecution.

On December 6, staff from the 610 Office, the Political Commissar, and staff from the Longshan District Court held a secret court hearing at the Liaoyuan City Detention Center. They handed down illegal rulings to nine practitioners: Ms. Xiang Lijie, Mr. Zhao Yan, Mr. Zhang Shunhong (Mr. Zhang Shunlong's younger brother), Ms. Liu Xiangzhuo, Ms. Wang Xiangren, Mr. Luan Aijun, Mr Liu Quanxing, Mr. Liu Duansheng, and Ms. Lvu Chunyun.

Only two direct family members per practitioner were allowed to attend the court proceedings. They were required to bring an ID, but could not bring a cell phone. More than ten family members of practitioners were present during the illegal trial. Nine practitioners walked into the court, one after the other with Ms. Xiang Lijie being the first. She appeared to have been tortured. During her self-defense, she began to read several pages of prepared arguments, but was interrupted rudely. One practitioner immediately pointed out, "Self-defense is the right of everyone!" From the beginning to the end, Ms. Xiang Lijie refused to admit to any of the false accusations against her. The next was practitioner Mr. Zhao Yan, a former employee at the Culture Center of Dongfeng County, Liaoyuan City (he was illegally dismissed because he practices Falun Gong). During the illegal detention, he lost more than 20 kg. (44 lb.) and looked sallow. When he was asked if he admitted to the charges, he replied, "No. I don't admit to any of the charges. It is not illegal to practice Falun Gong!" The court officer was discomfited and ordered, "Write down what he said!" One male practitioner had been severely tortured and needed the support of two people when entering the courtroom.

On the evening of December 15, the nine practitioners who were detained received the following illegal verdicts:

None of the nine practitioners admitted to any of the charges brought against them and they do not accept the verdict. They have already appealed. The practitioners' family members have not received official notification of the sentences.

2. Practitioner Mr. Zhang Shunlong, 40 years old, was persecuted to death.

Mr. Zhang was a farmer in Band 6, Xincheng, Yanping Village, Liaohe Town, Dongliao County, Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province. Because his younger brother Mr. Zhang Shunhong was illegally detained for practicing Falun Gong, Zhang Shunlong and his wife Ms. Lu Fengling, his elder brother Mr. Zhang Shunming, fellow practitioner Mr. Pang Baojun, his sister-in-law (not a practitioner), neighbor Du (surname, not a practitioner) went to the Dongji branch police station in Liaoyuan City, to demand the release of Zhang Shunhong. Liaoyuan City National Security Team agents, Dongliao County Commissar Team agents, and police from Liaoheyuan Police Station arrested them on their way to the police station. The police claimed that they were going to lay siege at the city government, and forced them into a police car. However, Mr. Zhang Shunlong and Mr. Pang Baojun refused to cooperate and said, "We will not go with you. We came to see our younger brother. If you have any questions, we can talk about it during village committee hearings."

Zhang Chuanhong, police chief of Liaoheyuan Police Station, grabbed Mr. Zhang Shunlong by the hair, and together with several policemen beat him inhumanly. They slammed Mr. Zhang's head against the bridge pole. Zhang Shunlong's head and face were bleeding badly. Later, several police forced him into the car. Mr. Zhang Shunlong refused to cooperate and braced his legs outside the car. The police looked around for stones to break his legs, but didn't find any. They then violently hit Mr. Zhang's legs with the car door. His legs were broken. After they stuffed Mr. Zhang into the car, they pressed his head into the crack between two seats. He could not move and blood and sweat ran down his face. The police also cruelly beat Ms. Lu Fengling, and her nose was broken.

Mr. Zhang Shunlong and other practitioners were taken to Liaoheyuan Police Station. Mr. Zhang was detained on the third floor, where he was interrogated and beaten by several dozen police officers. At about ten o'clock, Mr. Zhang Shunlong fell from the third floor. The police claimed that Mr. Zhang Shunlong jumped from the third floor window. They said that two people tried to pull him back, but failed. We note here that Mr. Zhang Shunlong was handcuffed, his legs were broken and over ten people were watching him. Moreover, the windows on the third floor are very narrow. How could he have jumped out of the window? It is obvious that he was pushed out of the window. The police wanted to escape responsibility by creating a false scenario after torturing him inhumanly. A person died in their custody, therefore they cannot escape responsibility.

Mr. Zhang Shunlong refused to cooperate with the illegal interrogation. The authorities did not keep notes from the interrogation.

Police said they took Mr. Zhang Shunlong to Liaoyuan No. 2 Hospital for "humanitarian reasons," where police asked Mr. Zhang Shunlong's wife Ms. Lu Fengling for money. When she replied that she had no money, the police demanded that she sell their motorcycle, but she refused. In the hospital, Mr. Zhang Shunlong was provided with only oxygen and blood and given no other treatment.

Ms. Lu Fengling could not talk to her husband, Mr. Zhang Shunlong, before he passed away. She only saw him breathe very heavily and touch his head. He seemed in terrible pain. An autopsy was performed while his body was still warm. In the early morning of December 28, the police cremated him without family members' permission. They refused to give an explanation. They also threatened Ms. Lu Fengling, "This cannot be revealed! If you do so, you and your family members will be taken to a labor camp."

Mr. Zhang left behind his elderly mother, his wife Ms. Lu Fengling and two young children. They have a difficult life. A piece of land of about 3-5 mu (0.5 - 0.8 acres) could not be tended and had to be leased out.

Mr. Zhang Shunlong's arrest, violent beating and death was exposed that same day on the Internet. Lieoheyuan General Police Zhang Chuanhong and other officers have received five calls from overseas Dafa practitioners in five countries within one day. Practitioners Mr. Zhang Shunming and Mr. Pang Baojun were released. Though Zhang Chuanhong brought many people to Mr. Zhang Shunlong's family to apologize, they have not given a reasonable explanation or provided any compensation.

Therefore, given the aforementioned facts, staff from the 610 Office, Commissar, police, Procuratorate, the court, and those who directly or indirectly participated, have violated the U.N. Human Rights Convention, International Law, the Chinese Constitution, Criminal Law and other laws and regulations. They committed crimes, including illegally depriving Chinese citizens of their personal freedoms, religious freedoms, freedoms of speech and rights to private property.

The crimes were committed by officials of the State and under the control of the Chinese Communist Party. They violated existing law instead of executing the law!

In China, a country under the control of the Chinese Communist Party, no ordinary citizen will find redress before the law. Our only recourse is to seek redress through the international community.

We hereby ask overseas practitioners to file a lawsuit on behalf of the above-mentioned Chinese citizens. We hope for a fair hearing and a verdict as soon as possible.

We ask for the release all Falun Gong practitioners who are illegally detained in Mainland China. We request that the criminals and murderers who persecute practitioners be brought to justice.

We ask that this letter be submitted to the U.N. Human Rights Commission, the World Court, and the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong.

1. Mr. Qiu Youde, 72, was the former head of the Communist Party Organization Department at Xiangtan University. He began practicing Falun Gong in 1997, at the age of 66. He had suffered from many health problems prior to that point. Mr. Qiu was hospitalized for lengthy periods of time and often spent the Chinese New Year at the hospital. In 1997, his daughter gave him a copy of Zhuan Falun. That year he celebrated the Chinese New Year with his family and start practicing Falun Gong. His health problems vanished. He became very healthy and for the next three years did not require hospitalization.

On July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party started the persecution of Falun Gong. Retiree Office Director Zhang Changbao had several conversations with Qiu Youde and pressured him daily. Zhang tried to force him to give up Falun Dafa. Mr. Qiu Youde refused, and later on CCP officials applied even more pressure. They threatened that his son, employed at a police station, would not have a future if Mr. Qiu didn't follow their demands. The director and other personnel kept threatening him and forced him to write a statement giving up on Dafa. Qiu Youde gave in and wrote a statement of "five conditions" in 2000. The CCP officials published this in the university newspaper, and shortly thereafter Mr. Qiu was hospitalized. Mr. Qiu was in and out of the hospital after that, and he passed away in a hospital in 2003.

2. Mr. Hu Yongfeng, 69, was a retired staff member. Mr. Hu's wife began Fa study in 1996, and he saw his wife becoming very healthy after practicing Falun Gong. He witnessed the wonders of Dafa and started reading Zhuan Falun and practicing Falun Gong in 1997.

Mr. Hu traveled to Beijing in 2000 to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong. He was illegally arrested and charged with "disrupting social order" and confined at the local Jingtangwan Detention Center for 15 days. After his release, agents from the school's 610 Office placed him under house arrest. He was forced to undergo several university-conducted brainwashing sessions, where he was ordered to acts as a mole in the local Falun Gong group and send back information to the "610 Office." They also offered him financial incentives if he agreed. Mr. Hu Yongfeng firmly refused.

Sometime around December 26, 2000, Hu Yongfeng was detained and searched while walking in the streets. Xiangtan University Security Division officer Xiao Jiguang conducted the search. Mr. Hu's bag contained several truth-clarification handouts. The official arrested him, and agents from the university security division searched his house. Also participating were agents from the propaganda section of the city police department. He was locked up and interrogated at the Xiangtan Detention Center. He was sentenced to one year in the Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp in Changsha City. His retirement pension was also suspended.

After his return from the labor camp, Hu Yongfeng's retirement pension was reduced, and "610 Office" agents kept harassing Mr. Hu and his wife. They ordered them to sell their home at the university compound and live in their son's home in Changsha City. Even after the ordered move to Changsha, the persecutors still continued making harassing telephone calls.

Hu Yongfeng went to his son's home in Changsha in November 2004. Within weeks of his visit, the family started receiving harassing phone calls from "610 Office" officials. The intimidation and harassment occurred several times per day and severely disrupted and interfered with the family's life. Hu Yongfeng and his wife returned to the university from Changsha on December 3, 2004. Hu Yongfeng died suddenly at noon on the second day of their return.

3. Ms. Chai Yuhua, 63, was a retired staff member at the factory affiliated with the university. She began Fa study in 1996. Both she and her husband practiced Falun Gong. Her health problems were cured following the practice. On July 20, 1999, the CCP started persecuting Dafa practitioners. She was afraid of the CCP and went back to her hometown, Shanghai, to avoid the persecution. She returned to the university in the second half of 2000.

During the New Year of 2001, she and her husband went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Dafa. They were stopped at the Beijing Train Station and sent back to Xiangtan Detention Center for a month. While they were there, Yuan Yuexia and Cao Jianzhong from the former Culture and Security Division of Xiangtan Police Department and Xiao Jiguang from the university's security division threatened Chai Yuhua and her husband. They also confiscated her personal savings of 30,000 Yuan. They said that they wouldn't discuss this matter until the issue was resolved. After a month in the detention center, Chai Yuhua and her husband returned home. Police Department "610 Office" agents forced her to stop practicing Falun Gong, sell her home at the university compound and move to Shanghai. The "610 Office" agents sent Chai Yuhua and her husband to Shanghai in 2001.

Agents from the university "610 Office" harassed them in Shanghai several times. They also connected with their Shanghai contacts, telling them to monitor Chai Yuhua and her husband. Chai Yuhua and her husband did not want to go to Shanghai and once returned to Xiangtan University. In order to prevent the couple from settling in at the university, agents from the university's "610 Office" forced them to sell their home in the university's compound.

Although Chai Yuhua and her husband were forced to go to Shanghai, the university was still responsible for paying their salary. The couple still needed to deal with the university concerning certain matters. They wrote to the university several times, but no one ever responded. Chai Yuhua suffered a relapse of several of her previous illnesses and passed away on November 6, 2006.

(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of December 6, 2006, Party members in Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province, illegally tried nine practitioners including Ms. Xiang Lijie, whose husband is in Taiwan, at the Liaoyuan Detention Center. The trial lasted less than two hours.

During the trial the judge and the prosecutor stopped the defendant practitioners from uttering a word. Before the session, the relevant department in charge clearly ordered the defense lawyers to only negotiate the duration of prison terms for the Falun Gong practitioners. The defense was prevented from pleading not guilty, and during the session the defense attorneys were under intense pressure, resulting in their not saying a thing. This is an example of a so-called "fair trial" under Communist Party rule.

Although Chinese law clearly stipulates that all cases, except those involving national secrets, should be tried publicly, this session was held in a detention center where even unauthorized policemen are not allowed to freely enter and exit. The public have no way to enter such a place, and thus they have no way to be present at the trial. The only spectators in this court session were police officers. This is an example of a "public trial" under Communist Party rule.

Nine of the practitioners were illegally arrested between spring and summer of this year. These practitioners were not in good physical condition after being detained and tortured for six months. One of them, unable to walk by himself, was dragged into the courtroom. Seven practitioners, including Xiang Lijie, Zhao Yan and Zhang Shunhong, firmly denied their illegal sentences.

Practitioner Ms. Xiang Lijie was arrested on April 25, 2006. Her husband is in Taiwan. The police department and the 610 Office in Liaoyuan have refused to issue her a return visa to Taiwan, which meant that she and her husband have had to live apart for many years. She made her living doing jobs for 300 yuan per month. Beginning in July 1999, Ms. Xiang was detained and sent to forced labor camps because she went to appeal. When she was incarcerated she was beaten and electrically shocked. In 2004 when she went to apply for a visa to return to Taiwan, Li Bin of the National Security Team slapped her face in front of her family because she did not give up practicing Falun Gong.

The nine practitioners in Liaoyuan City were given the following sentences on the night of December 15, 2006:

Xiang Lijie, 11 years; Liu Duansheng, 9 years; Liu Quanxing, 8 years; Zhao Yan, 7 years; Liu Xiangzhuo, 5 years; Luan Aijun, 4 years; Zhang Shunhong, 4 years; Lu Chunyun, 3 years; Wang Xiangren 3 years.

All nine practitioners have appealed to the higher authorities. We ask all fellow practitioners who see this news to send forth frequent righteous thoughts to rescue these fellow practitioners.

(Claerwisdon.net) Since it began in July 1999, the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners at Maojiashan Forced Labor Camp has never stopped. The following is a list of the most recent persecution incidents:

1. Guards forced practitioners to memorize Rule 23. If the practitioners disobeyed, they had to write out Rule 23 ten times after 10:00 p.m., the usual bedtime. They were forbidden from sleeping if they didn't finish. Practitioner Ms. Wu Shuhuei refused to either memorize or copy the rule, resulting in a guard slapping her face, causing her mouth to bleed. Many other practitioners and criminals witnessed this.

2. In August 2006, guard Yang Yang from the No. 1 Team physically abused practitioner Ms. Yang Xiaolan for not memorizing the rule. Ms. Yang was forced to stand still and was forbidden from sleeping. She was forced to copy the rule for the entire night. Additionally, since it was in the heat of summer, the guards forbade her from taking a shower. The guards in the team were also involved in torturing other practitioners. Some older practitioners became dizzy from the mistreatment. This kind of mistreatment continued for two weeks.

3. Guard Wang Lu verbally abused 67-year-old practitioner Ms. Wang Minghui. Ms. Wang's arm was broken from being hung up at a detention center and she now has to live with an assistant. The police not only refused to have her treated, but also sent her to the forced labor camp and continued torturing her. Because her name is the same as the Chinese name for the Falun Gong website (Minghui.org), guards often verbally abuse her and ask her why she changed her name to Minghui.

4. Guards Zhao Yuanyuan, Hu Xaioyan and Chen Yanyan tortured practitioner Ms. Chen Tingfen. She firmly refused to comply with the evil persecution, so she was locked in a small cell. Guards forbade her from taking showers for several months. They permitted her only a scant quantity of water for brushing her teeth and washing her face. In the meantime, guards Zhao Yuanyuan, Hu Xiaoyan and Chen Yanyan incited the criminals called "prison monitors" locked in the same cell with her to beat her. We could frequently hear her crying and yelling. Guards also sent "collaborator" Liu Yoxai to torture her. Liu would check her critique report and the report would be forwarded to the guards' chief only if Liu was satisfied.

5. Guards Tan Qinyue, Hu Xaioyan, and Chen Yanyan physically tortured practitioner Ms. Wang Aihua who had been sent there in July 2005. Ms. Wang was forced to stand still for several hours, and squat, jump like a frog and stand on one foot. They incited criminal Liu Chenling to burn her back with candles and forbade Ms. Wang from reporting this abuse.

Different methods were used to torture practitioners. Guards Chen Yanyan and Hu Xaioyan told the criminals to do anything to make Dafa practitioners give up Falun Gong by signing a guarantee statement. They also forced Ms. Wang to reveal other practitioner's names. Ms. Wang Aihua is still under a close supervision.

6. Police have not been able to "reform" the practitioners who have been locked in small cells for a long time, and so prevent them from sleeping until 2:00 or 3:00 a.m. They are forced to get up at 5:00 a.m. to write a daily self-critique report. They cannot sleep if the report is not finished.

I hope that all kind people will pay attention to these persecution incidents and help stop the persecution.

Your Member of Parliament, the Honourable Jim Peterson, has forwarded to me on July 29, 2006, a copy of your letter and enclosed documentation, concerning allegations of organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners in China. I regret the delay in replying to you.

A number of Canadians have brought to the Government of Canada's attention allegations regarding the existence of concentration camp-style prisons for Falun Gong practitioners located throughout the People's Republic of China. In addition, concerns have been raised with respect to allegations of organ harvesting from prisoners interned in these camps, as well as those detained at other facilities. These allegations are alarming and the Government of Canada takes them extremely seriously.

Since these grave allegations were made public in March 2006, the Government of Canada has maintained an active effort to seek verification and corroboration of such claims. Canadian government officials have, on a regular basis, been in contact with non-governmental organizations, like minded countries, as well as Mr. Manfred Nowak, United Nations Special Rapporteur on Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, in order to share information. In addition, Canadian government officials have met regularly with Falun Gong representatives in Canada and have found such exchanges very useful in Canada's continuing efforts to verify and corroborate these allegations. The report entitled Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China, published on July 6, 2006, and co-authored by the Honourable David Kilgour, the Government of Canada's former Secretary of State for Asia Pacific, and Mr. David Matas, Barrister and Solicitor, has also been useful in bringing together available information on this issue.

A central goal of Canada's foreign policy toward China is focusing increased attention on the human rights conditions in that country, and working to improve these conditions. Canada is greatly concerned about the treatment of spiritual groups in China, including the Falun Gong, and continues to raise these matters with the Chinese government on all appropriate occasions. Canada is also worried about the illegal organ transplantation from executed prisoners in China. Canadian government officials have emphasized to the Chinese authorities their concern that all organ donations in China must take place with the free and informed consent of the donor, consistent with international norms.

With respect to the allegations of organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners, we continue our active efforts of seek verification and corroboration, and welcome any additional information you wish to provide in this regard.

I can assure you that the Government of Canada will continue to express clearly its concerns regarding human rights and fundamental freedoms to Chinese authorities.

(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of December 30, 2006, A Singapore Falun Gong practitioner received a phone call from a non-practitioner. He asked where the practitioner would distribute Falun Gong materials that day. The practitioner replied that it would depend. If it rained, they would go to the Orchid Road MRT. Without rain, they would go to Clementi MRT. The man told the practitioner to inform him when they confirmed the time and location. Thus, at around 4:00 p.m. this man, Mr. Liang, along with Falun Gong practitioners went to Clementi MRT to distribute truth-clarifying materials.

Mr. Liang had seen truth-clarifying display boards on the roadside of the Orchid Road MRT last week. He learned about the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal and inhuman persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, the grand tide of the Chinese people's quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations, as well as information calling for the Singapore government to withdraw the wrongful charges against Falun Gong practitioners. He asked for some truth clarification materials and the English version of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Through several phone calls with practitioners, he decided to help distribute truth clarification materials with Falun Gong practitioners at MRT.

While Mr. Liang distributed truth clarification materials at the MRT, he also greeted his friends and relatives who passed by. Some people asked for the English version of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and asked where to buy Falun Gong books. Mr. Liang was very happy for his voluntary and righteous deed. He said that Falun Gong was good and he would practice it. He believes that the CCP's atrocities are no different from the crimes committed by Hitler and other war criminals. Regarding the CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong, he believes that it's truly a Nazi-like atrocity, and a real scandal, and that it's a good thing that Falun Gong practitioners expose the CCP's brutality. He also expressed his attitude with his action regarding the false charges against Falun Gong practitioners brought by the Singapore authorities headed by Lee Kuan Yew.

Since July 2006, in face of the series of false charges brought against Falun Gong practitioners by Lee Kuan Yew's regime and the state-controlled media's systematic slander of Falun Gong, and then blockage of the news about Falun Gong in Singapore, Falun Gong practitioners in Singapore have been clarifying the truth to the public and calling for the Singapore government to withdraw all false charges against Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners have taken to the streets with display boards to help the public learn the truth about Falun Gong. More people have learned about the hardships that practitioners have gone through in clarifying the truth in Singapore. People ask, "How can a government treat ordinary people so unreasonably?"

Falun Gong practitioners will continue tell the public the true facts, until the complete end to the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, and an end to the Singapore government's unfair treatment of Falun Gong practitioners.

(Clearwisdom.net) December 10, 2006 was International Human Rights Day. On a busy street on Batam Island, Indonesia, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong in China.

Reporters from several newspapers learned facts about the CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, and reported the inhuman persecution, including the CCP organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.

(Clearwisdom.net) Vegesack: A German-Chinese human rights group attracted much attention last Saturday in the local outdoor shopping district. Activists were protesting against the forced removal of organs from political prisoners in China.

The group had erected a cage surrounding Rosa Jansohn of Ritterhude in the vicinity of the former Kramer's department store. They explained that similar cages are used in Chinese labor camps, where enclosed inmates are partially immersed in water for hours on end. If the prisoners get too sleepy, they are likely to drown.

However, the human rights group was not only interested in highlighting the brutality of the camp guards, they were also interested in demonstrating another shocking aspect of the Chinese regime to the passing shoppers. Apparently, bodily organs are being removed from political prisoners in China, either before or after they are executed, and sold for profit. The victims belong primarily to the Buddha School spiritual movement, Falun Gong, which has been persecuted by the Communist Party in China since the late nineties.

Many of the passing citizens interrupted their shopping to chat with the group surrounding Rosa Jonsohn, and appeared to be shocked about these crimes occurring in Chinese camps that are hardly ever publicized in the West. Susanne Bongartz of Aumund said, "I already knew that China has no regards for human rights, although I had never heard about this business. I really think it is obscene to do business with such a country."

The foreign office in Berlin has confirmed that the allegations made by human rights activists are not simply unsubstantiated claims made by followers of the Falun Gong movement. In response to this newspaper's inquiries, a spokeswoman for the ministry confirmed that organ removals from prisoners are indeed happening. "The Chinese authorities claim that they have approval from the next-of-kin." The spokeswoman further said that the topic had repeatedly been broached as part of a human rights dialog between governments. In addition, an independent report compiled by a Canadian member of parliament and a Canadian attorney supports the existence of an organ reservoir in Chinese labor camps.

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a teacher in Mainland China and I am 55 years old. I teach at institutions of higher education. On the night of December 10, 2006, after I had finished tutoring in the students' elective course, I met with an accident on my way home.

The time was around 10:00 p.m. on a cold night and I was riding across the intersection. As I was approaching the middle of the road, a black car on my left came bearing down on me. Due to the strong beam of the headlights and the fast speed of the car, I was hit by the car before I could respond. I was thrown away to a distance of five to six meters and landed on the side of the road, immediately losing consciousness.

I didn't know how long it took before I could hear a voice saying, "This person is finished, it looks fatal. I am afraid she will not make it..." I started to realize people were talking about me. I slowly opened my eyes, and saw the crowd surrounding me. I thought to myself that I shouldn't lie here and I should get up. I slowly sat up. I felt a dull pain in my body, and there was a small scratch on my face.

After I sat up, I was fascinated at the place where I had landed. There was a telegraph pole on my left and a pile of iron chunks on my right. I had landed right in the middle. My bicycle was totally broken and smashed. Someone told me that the driver of the car, after seeing my state, ran away in fright. The crowd of onlookers said, "It's strange that nothing happened to her after such a strong collision! There is no bleeding, and she is still walking!"

My family, after their arrival at the scene, took me to the hospital for an examination, as they were concerned about me. The result showed no internal injuries in the bones and muscles and only a few skin-deep scratches on the surface. The doctor was quite surprised as well, and said, "It is unbelievable that a woman of her age was hit by a car and landed so far away with no internal injuries. I have never seen anything like this before." I know clearly within myself why this happened.

About six months ago, a colleague at my work who practices Falun Gong told me about the "three withdrawals" (withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party, from the CCP Youth League, and the CCP Young Pioneers). I have also read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, so I authorized him to withdraw me from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. He gave me a Falun Gong protective talisman. On it is written the following,

"A card for you to bring you peace,
Fear no more --- natural and man-made calamities,
Keep Zhen-Shan-Ren in your heart,
Peace and happiness be with your whole family.
Who has the predestined relationship receives the talisman,
Good for your body and good for your mind,
Chant Falun Dafa is good often,
Life will forever be beautiful for you."

After I read this, my heart was filled with joy. It is better to believe than not to believe, so I took the protective talisman. I kept it in my small purse and it remains with me every day in my handbag. When I sleep at night, I place it under my pillow. This colleague often tells us some wonderful and miraculous stories about Falun Gong and I believe all of them.

It truly works when you sincerely believe! This miracle has actually happened to me. Today I am writing this story to tell all the kind-hearted people in this world that Falun Dafa has saved me. It is the teacher of Falun Gong who saved me with his great kindness, and gave me my life today, a brand new life.

After this miracle happened, all my family members, relatives, friends, the doctor who examined me and the nurse all started to believe in the goodness of Falun Dafa. They believe that quitting the CCP will ensure the safety of one's life. Now, they all want to withdraw from the evil party and its affiliated organizations.

(Clearwisdom.net) Gratitude surges from my heart and tears well up whenever I read the following sentences in Zhuan Falun:

"I think that those who can listen to my lectures in person, I would say, honestly... you will realize in the future that this period of time is extremely precious. Of course, we believe in predestined relationship. Everyone sits here all because of a predestined relationship."

Twelve years ago, I attended Master's lecture class in Guangzhou City on December 18-28, 1994. I didn't know how fortunate and lucky I was! As time goes by, I become more and more aware of what a delightful, precious and rare opportunity that was! It's December 18 again, and I want to write about my experiences and feelings to share with fellow practitioners. If I said anything inappropriate, please kindly point it out.

Before I departed for Guangzhou, I was perfectly fine both physically and mentally. However, I started to feel pain in my lower back all of a sudden at night when I was on the train. The pain became more and more severe and unbearable. I could neither turn nor get up. I didn't know at that time that I had so much karma in my body and was not able to start cultivation. It was Master who endured it for me and cleansed my body before I went to the class. Because a friend of mine had told me how wonderful the practice was, I decided to go to the class and registered for it on the same day.

Before I started practicing Falun Dafa, I always had pain in the lower back. I had tried physical therapy, liquid medicine injections and medication. They only eased or postponed my disease but none of them cured it. I remember Master said in Zhuan Falun:

"No matter how much you suffer from the 'illness,' I hope that you will continue to come, because it is difficult to obtain the Fa. When you feel very uncomfortable, it indicates that things will turn around after reaching the extreme point. Your whole body will be purified and it must be completely purified."

I thus persisted in attending the class with no interruption. Amazingly, I didn't have any pain in the lower back during the classes. What's even more amazing is that I never had pain in my lower back thereafter.

I happily went to class on the first day, hoping to see Master and listen to His lecture. My seat was in the front center of the room and very close to Master. It was a perfect seat. The moment I sat down, a fellow female practitioner, about my age, approached me and asked if I could switch seats with her, as her hearing was poor. Since the fellow practitioner had a difficulty, I should do my best to help and so I agreed. However, when I went to her seat, I found it was to the left back of the room, which meant I wouldn't be able to see Master's face during the whole class. What's more, I worried that I couldn't receive the good energy Master emits. I felt a little unhappy. Master seemed to have read my mind and on the second day, Master told us that no one would be left behind, including those sitting behind him and those sitting outside of the auditorium. I felt so warm in Master's compassion and extremely grateful toward Master.

During the classes, the auditorium was quiet and harmonious from start to finish. Everyone listened to Master attentively, not wanting to miss a word. We heard nothing but Master's resounding voice in an auditorium that held thousands of people. Practitioners came from all over the country. Some traveled from faraway places every day. Whenever we walked into the auditorium, we felt the compassionate and harmonious field. No one felt tired, instead we experienced a serenity and comfort we had never experienced before in our lives. We felt energetic and clear-minded. A few people had stray ideas momentarily and asked Master about his personal life. Master only asked them seriously what they came there for and whether that was cultivation. Master's answer was so thought-provoking that everyone sitting in the audience reflected on themselves and whether their thoughts were pure.

In the class Master taught us the principles of the universe. Master said that we can't cultivate a bit without knowing the Fa. This is an opportunity one doesn't come across even in thousands of years or tens of thousands of years. When Master was opening our celestial eyes, I felt the muscles between my eyebrows bunching up together. When Master told us that he was cleansing our bodies, I felt, with the wave of His hand, that he had uprooted all of our diseases as we stomped our feet. Master brought us into a disease-free state and left the good things in our bodies and gotten rid of the bad. Master installed Falun and thousands of things in our bodies like seeds, and also installed mechanisms outside of our bodies...Warm applause was heard throughout the classes.

On the last day of the classes, Master demonstrated the greater hand gestures for us. It was so beautiful! What's more important, Master expressed his best wishes for his disciples through the hand gestures. Within the whole world and cosmos, what other lives are as lucky as Dafa practitioners? Ancient genuine cultivators had a saying, "Having heard the Dao in the morning, one can die in the evening." As for Dafa disciples, shouldn't we be even more confident than them?

I had a dream on the train the day Master finished the lecture. I dreamed of myself in a high-level dimension. There was a cloud, mist, sunshine, and an old Daoist standing beside me. He was looking ahead with a serious yet compassionate expression. He didn't say anything. I was bathed in the sunshine, and I felt something other than the warmth from the sun and the Taoist. It felt so comfortable and amazing. I think that must have been the power of compassion. It's something I had never experienced before and it penetrated every cell in my body. I remember the dream very clearly even after a dozen years. It felt like yesterday. I use this dream to remind and urge myself to have faith in Dafa and catch up with Fa-rectification.

After July 20, 1999, I met with many difficulties and setbacks due to the overwhelming persecution. But whenever I think of seeing Master with my own eyes and listening to Master's lectures with my own ears, and think of how much Master has given us and has endured for us, I think of the dream I had. I always know I will steadfastly assist Master to rectify the Fa and fulfill my vow made long ago.

(Clearwisdom.net) I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. During the first five years of my cultivation, I was often required to travel on business. This lasted until my retirement in 2002. During my heaviest travels, I spent over 180 days a year on business trips, with the average being 150 days or a bit more per year. I want to share with fellow practitioners who are also required to travel frequently about how I did the three things while traveling.

I always started my Fa study after reaching my destinations because there were not many people around then and it was quiet. I could concentrate on my studying and no others came to interfere. Ordinary people on business trips may take their business objectives as their priorities while I took my doing the three things as my priority. I accomplished my business goals just the same.

I practiced the exercises in the morning, studied the Fa during the daytime and sent forth righteous thoughts at the beginning of each hour. I also handed out flyers and clarified the truth in the evening. After I finished practicing the meditation exercises, I went to bed. The more I read, the more I wanted to read, I could hardly put the book down. I wished that time could be stopped so I could read the Fa more. I felt very light and comfortable. When I clarified the truth there were always people listening and at the same time nodding their heads. I had new understandings of the Fa every day.

Before the persecution began in 1999, I read the Fa on the road. When the others were playing, chatting, or sleeping, I was reading, so I felt that I was better than the others, which was, in fact, using my human notions to compare myself to ordinary people. As a result I could not gain deep understandings of the Fa, and the Fa would also not be revealed to me. After the persecution started, I always wanted to make the best use of my time. I often wish that time could be stopped, so I could study the Fa and assimilate myself into the Fa. Therefore, while I was on business trips, I read at least two lectures of Zhuan Falun every day. Of course, because I did not need to do housework and there were no company meetings interfering with me, I could easily concentrate on Fa study.

Because I usually did not travel during the night, I could persist in practicing the exercises in the morning and evening. My biggest interference was my attachment to fear.

I came to many understandings about practicing the exercises. Once I practiced in my hotel room, which was shared by three other guests. [Editor's note: it is common in China to share a room with other guests to save money] The individual in the bed opposite mine was from the Procuratorate and watched me practicing the whole time. After I finished, he asked me what I had practiced. I said it was a type of qigong. He said that I had appeared very comfortable when practicing. We then chatted for a while. I told him that I had practiced Falun Gong. He said, "Don't be afraid. There is nothing wrong with Falun Gong. Falun Gong does not let people steal, rob, smoke, or drink, and people practicing Falun Gong do not need to see doctors. I will practice after I retire. But by that time, Falun Gong may have already been redressed."

A service worker in a boarding house saw me practicing the exercises and told the manager. The manager told the worker, "I know this person practicing the exercises. You should not bother him!" I learned this story one year later when I went to the front desk of the same boarding house to chat with the service staff. The person at the service desk told me, "Everyone knows you are practicing. So, when we make room arrangements for the guests, we put either those who will stay a long time in your room so you can make friends, or those who come back late in the evening or leave early in the morning so they will not interfere with you. When someone tells the manager about your practicing the exercises, she always speaks favorably of you."

While we were chatting, the manager arrived. I expressed my gratitude to her. She replied, "No need to thank us. Your staying in our hotel means you're trusting us. We have a responsibility to take care of you. On the other hand, what is wrong with practicing the exercises? There is no need to make a fuss!" I felt that they cared about me very much. Sometimes when I practiced the exercises, the wind blew the door open, and the service worker would kindly close the door for me. This has made me see the power of Dafa and made me realize that Dafa practitioners' existence, righteous thoughts, and compassion can rescue sentient beings. Those who know the truth also support and encourage Dafa practitioners.

Two to three days after the broadcast of truth-clarification videos in Changchun City, Jilin Province, I was also traveling on business. I stayed in a hotel for several days and felt the tense atmosphere there. On the streets and in the neighborhoods, the police were everywhere. That day I came out of a building entrance after posting truth-clarification materials and noticed a policeman sitting on the back of a bicycle, staring at me. I also stared at him. I kept sending forth righteous thoughts, thinking to make him go away quickly. After we stared at each other for at least three minutes, he left. I did not feel any fear. I just asked Master to not let him get inside the building to take down my truth-clarification posters.

When I clarified the truth inside the hotel room, once I mentioned Falun Gong, someone would pick up the topic and say, "Falun Gong is good. It is just because there are so many people practicing Falun Gong that the government is scared. You do not need to let the government scare you!" There were also people saying, "Falun Gong is indeed very effective. Falun Gong is everywhere and well-received by the people. Falun Gong is closer to people than is the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). That is why the Party wants to persecute Falun Gong." There was also someone who was still deceived, saying that as Master has published so many books, he "must have already made a fortune!" I then told him, "When Master Li cures illnesses, he never asks for money. He has 100 million disciples. If each of them had given him one yuan, he would have already made a fortune. There would be no need for him to make money by publishing his books." This person quickly said, "You are right by saying that. He is not out for money. It would be very easy for him to make money. All those who are not out only for money are good people. Now there are few CCP members who have not embezzled public money or made money in unjust ways."

For those who need to travel often, they know much about what is really happening everywhere. It is not easy for these people to believe the CCP propaganda. I went to a certain company on business. When I mentioned Falun Gong, one person beside me quickly said, "You do not need to explain. Everyone in the company knows. If you do not believe me, you can go to the company's apartment building, which is behind this office building and have a look. Each of the apartment building entrances has at least eight or ten lines on the wall saying 'Falun Dafa is good.'" I said I would go there to take a look. Another person said, "I will give you a red piece of chalk so you can also go there and write several lines as a memento." I took the red chalk and went there, seeing seven buildings, each with four entrances. I saw very large characters spelling "Falun Dafa is good" on the walls of six entrances.

After I returned to the office building, I wanted very much to know why the circumstances there were so favorable. One associate business director took me to the outside of a building. We sat by the flowers, and then he told me the situation, "There are many employees who practice Falun Gong, and many of them are exceedingly productive. They enjoy a good reputation. Several of them are mid-level leaders. There are also quite a few who have retired. The company has done very well in finishing its production assignments. It is also a very safe place to work. So, the company's financial situation is very good. We can guarantee the employees' salaries. We can even pay some bonuses. The employees care very much about the working environment here. Nearby there was a company where the leaders followed the government's dictum very closely. They sent Falun Gong practitioners to brainwashing centers and arrested and sentenced several, however, they can never finish their given production quota. In a one-year period, the employees could only get paid 60% of their salaries, with no bonuses. The employees there also are not permitted to leave the company, even if they want to."

He also said, "Our company respects those who practice Falun Gong very much. Every family has accepted and read the flyers and watched the VCDs. When the upper government officials come to learn about what is happening at the company, the company always informs the practitioners ahead of the time or arranges for them to go to the construction sites. Last time, the neighborhood committee wanted to paint the hallways. Someone asked what the painting would do to the words on the wall. The neighborhood committee person then said, 'So, let's do it later.'"

This has made me realize that a workplace, like an individual, is governed by the principle that good will be rewarded and bad will receive retribution. What has happened there made me have an even better understanding of Master Li's words,

"Doing all possible of evil beings,
They have made a dead end of their lives."

("Entering the Gate of No-Life" from Hong Yin Volume II, Translation Version A)

It was relatively easy for me to clarify the truth when I was on a bus or on the road. I just said loudly, "Falun Dafa is good." During the early days of the persecution, if the person nodded his head, it meant that the person knew the truth, and we then ended the interaction with smiles. If he did not nod his head and still wanted to listen to what I would say, I continued the truth clarification. It was still difficult, though, to have an in-depth conversation, because the different locations presented challenges--there were many people around, it was noisy, and the people would look around and could barely concentrate to listen to my words.

Initially I just sent forth righteous thoughts superficially. Because I could not see nor feel it, it was difficult for me to concentrate. My sending forth righteous rights was just out of my wish to follow Master's words. One incident during one of my business trips changed my understanding of sending forth righteous thoughts.

During that trip I stayed in a boarding house. Very late in the evening, an elderly person came in and went to the bed opposite mine. Because he came in very late, he just greeted me once and then fell asleep. The next morning, I got up at 4:30 a.m. and started to practice the exercises. When I practiced the first set of exercises for the second time, the elderly person got up angrily, opened up all the windows and the door, and returned to bed to continue sleeping. My mind was disturbed--the wind was very strong and there were people walking in the hallway. So, I had no choice but to sit on the bed to send forth righteous thoughts. About five to six minutes later, the elderly person got up again, shut the door and left the window ajar saying, "Now the air is good. You can continue your practicing. I will sleep a little longer." I quickly got up and finished practicing the first four sets of exercises. I realized that after I had cleaned away the evil behind him, his attitude changed immediately.

When he got up, I then clarified the truth about Dafa to him. He said, "Oh. What you were practicing was Falun Gong. The government always curses Falun Gong in the broadcasts. But while I saw you practicing I felt very comfortable." When I told him that the CCP persecutes Falun Gong because the regime saw that there were so many people practicing it, he said, "The CCP has done a lot of bad things. After each political movement it would redress the movement. But after the redressing, it continues to do bad things. One can therefore say that its true nature can hardly be changed. Over the past several dozens years, I have not had any good feelings about it." This incident let me see that after cleaning away the evil behind a person in other dimensions, the person's compassionate side will be revealed. Remembering that wherever the evil head traveled, overseas practitioners assembled to send forth righteous thoughts in close proximity made me realize the importance of sending forth righteous thoughts. I hope all practitioners will give this some thought.

During the several dozen business trips I made over three years, there was not a single one where my bags were searched. There were two occasions when the luggage of others was searched, while when it was my turn they just touched my bags from the outside and then let me go. This was the power of sending forth righteous thoughts ahead of time. I sent forth righteous thoughts while I was on the road or in a bus, and I recited the Fa-rectification formulas so as to minimize the external interference on me. In hotels I would hold the hand gestures while sending forth righteous thoughts. I sat double cross-legged, erected my hand in front of my chest, straightened up my back, and became energetic. The energy would come out from the palm of my left hand and my right wrist. I felt extremely comfortable. Although I could not see it, I absolutely believed that I was eliminating the evil.

Master said,

"...the way today's Dafa disciples cultivate is one of a 'Great Way without form.'" ("Teaching the Fa in the City of Los Angeles" on February 25, 2006)

I think that those practitioners who need to make business trips should make Fa study and practicing the exercises their priorities and of course pay attention to sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth. On the road or in a bus, practitioners should take truth clarification and sending forth righteous thoughts as priorities. Of course, they can also study the Fa. The best way is to recite the Fa, Master's articles, and Hong Yin.

These are my understandings at my level. Because of the difference in the nature of the business trips and responsibilities, what I have mentioned might not apply to everyone. It can just serve as a reference to fellow practitioners. Please correct me if my understandings are incorrect.

(Clearwisdom.net) The process of Fa-rectification is at the final stage. Our cultivation should be at the same speed as Fa-rectification and we should completely eliminate the personal, superficial things that we have. Deeply rooted in our brains are human notions that have been formed over the past several thousand years, and they are difficult to find, even when we do our best to look inside. Therefore, it is very important and necessary to make Fa study a priority and eliminate all of our stubborn thoughts that hide deep inside our mind.

In Teacher's new article, To the Australia Fa Conference, he stressed the importance of studying the Fa well. The last, crucial and most sensitive moments during Fa-rectification are when our human attachments are exposed the most. Whether or not we become aware of our attachments is a very serious problem that all Dafa disciples as a whole body are facing. We must be ready to reach Consummation and return to our positions by studying the Fa more.

Because we practice cultivation among everyday people, our cultivation requires conforming to everyday people's society. However, the path that every practitioner walks is different. The degree to which we understand the Fa is different. This is the reason we sometimes do not know how to do well in society during the process of cultivation. To conform to everyday people's society is not the same as acting like an ordinary person. There is a significant difference and we should be aware of this difference. As the evil demons and rotten ghosts are diminishing, the environment for cultivation is becoming easier. Sometimes we are lazy. At the same time, the attachment to comfort occurs. This is why some practitioners say, "Even at the forced labor camp, when the evil was very savage, my heart was not moved. Why am I not as diligent now?" If we still have attachments or bad things, whether they are enormous or tiny, our attachments will appear at the appropriate moment. The tests will be difficult to pass if a practitioner has not cultivated well every day and if one does not have a serious attitude towards cultivation. Under all kinds of conditions we should believe in Master and the Fa one hundred percent. We cultivate in the Fa and do not deviate from the Fa at any time. At the same time, we should correct every single thought and every action, allowing no room for regret. I am sure that the path that we walk is a road filled with obstacles and difficulties, but also the most righteous and brilliant road.

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a middle school teacher who is 62 years old. I had many illnesses before I began practicing Falun Dafa. For almost 26 years I had suffered from illnesses such as congenital heart disease, pulmonary tuberculosis, cervical vertebra ossein proliferation, Meniere's syndrome and an attachment to sleep. I had worn three pairs of special glasses for older people before I was just over 40 years old. Towards the end everything was blurry when I read. I also had rheumatoid arthritis and other persistent illnesses.

I began Falun Dafa practice in January 1996. I did not need the special glasses for older people after I read Zhuan Falun three times. I could even see very small characters. All of my persistent illnesses disappeared after practicing, and my whole body felt light. From my childhood to the time before I started to practice, my lips were always white, having an inadequate blood supply due to my heart disease. I had always carried heart pills with me since the 1970's. After practicing, my lips looked as if they always had lipstick on them.

In March 2001, I was illegally arrested and held in Dongcheng District Detention Center in Beijing, for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. I went on a nine-day hunger strike in August 2004, when I was cuffed and shackled and taken for a medical examination. The doctor looked at the ultrasonic screen for a long time, and also asked all the doctors at work to come and look at it. In the end, the doctor in charge said, "Practicing Falun Gong has filled up the gap in her atrium (a chamber in the heart)."

During the five years I spent in the forced labor camp, I was taken to the provincial hospital twice to have medical examinations. The first time was in August 2001, and the second time was in August 2004. The doctor who did the medical examination was the doctor in charge. He asked all the other doctors to come to his lecture. He said, "At noon these ten patients had damage to the atriums in their hearts. This afternoon there is no atrium damage. Practicing Falun Gong has truly healed their hearts."

(Clearwisdom.net) A society with no moral restraints is a dreadful prospect! The purpose of the enforcement of atheism upon the Chinese people, with the dogma of "No fear of heaven, no fear of earth," by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is to distort the mind and ideology of the Chinese people. It confines people's minds within the boundaries controlled by the CCP. The CCP has manipulated generations of good and honest Chinese people by indoctrinating them with their ideology, one that has no moral restraint.

The CCP's atheism has caused people to abandon their long-held beliefs in divine beings, driving them away from the basic restriction of common morality and causing the drastic deterioration of moral standards in today's society. "Who do I have to fear in the universe? No one!" has seemingly become a popular motto.

If people no longer have any fear and lack the restriction of moral standards, they will commit any bad deeds they desire. For example, the one-child policy that is dubbed as one of the "basic policies" of the CCP to control the growth of the population. However, the Family Planning Office forces pregnant women to abort their fetuses, sometimes causing deadly harm to the mother, all under the shield of this policy. People dare not to report such incidents and the courts refuse to accept such cases.

Many government officials are corrupt and partake in bribery, embezzlement, prostitution, and other vices. Embezzlement on the scale of hundreds of millions, having multiple mistresses, and having feasts at the common people's expense are common sights. People are numb to the idea of serving others and think of themselves first. They stop at nothing to advance in the world and do it at the expense of others.

One only needs to take a look at the CCP's history books to see its hypocrisy in crowning Lenin, a moral degenerate, as a "founding father" and shamelessly glorifying the CCP's crimes in its march to power. The CCP dares not to tell the truth of their non-resistance during the war against the Japanese invaders. They dare not to tell the truth about the "hero" Zhang Side who died of overwork while making opium. They dare not to talk about the massacre on Tiananmen Square during the June 4^th student movement. The CCP government dares not to open to the public the most confidential part of the Chinese Library of Historical Records, the so-called "library within the library." They dare not to allow contact between foreign human rights investigators and the people who know the CCP's darkest secrets of human rights abuses. They dare not to allow the citizens of China, who rank near the top in the world in Internet usage, to know that they are using the most advanced technology to block unfavorable information and to monitor people's on-line activities. The list goes on and on. However, the truth cannot stay hidden forever.

Patriotism is not the same thing as loyalty to the Party. I have always loved my country, our Chinese nation, and the Chinese civilization. I only hope that people will become clear-headed and regain the moral restraints that were washed away by the CCP indoctrination. I hope that people will bring themselves back to morality and return to the right state in what was once called "a divine land".
