Thank you for sending along your greetings and well wishes! I sincerely hope that all of my Dafa disciples will achieve Consummation! I sincerely hope that all the people of the world can be clear on the truth and distinctly see the most wicked demon that history decided to visit upon mankind for what it is, see how the wicked Party has poisoned the Chinese people and the entire world, and see how it has persecuted Dafa disciples--and thus manage to survive the greatest catastrophe of all time, which has befallen all beings. I sincerely hope that all sentient beings will be saved!
Sentient beings! All that you have been hoping for, awaiting, and concerned over for thousands of years has arrived, and is in fact currently unfolding. Through it each and every person is choosing, whether knowingly or not, his or her fate.
I would like to tell you: Dafa disciples are the sole hope of salvation for the beings in each region and each nation. Cherishing what they are doing amounts to cherishing yourselves!

Falun Gong practitioners share their cultivation experiences over the past year.
Falun Dafa practitioners sent forth righteous thought at 9a.m. The host of the conference gave an opening greeting, and the conference was held in a solemn atmosphere. Twenty-six Falun Dafa practitioners shared their cultivation experiences in the past year. Every detail of their sharing showed their strong faith in Dafa and Master and their righteous thoughts. Several practitioners read their sharing in tears. Everyone was deeply touched. The audience expressed encouragement with warm applause. Many listened to the sharing in tears. Everyone was merged in the compassionate and benevolent field of Falun Dafa.
All practitioners who attended the conference thought it was a very peaceful atmosphere, and the reports were comprehensive, indicating the maturity of our cultivation. Some talked about their miraculous experiences. Some talked about their advancement to catch up after having gone astray. Some shared their experience of letting go of the attachment to life and resisting the persecution of the old forces with righteous thoughts. Some sharing was about validating the Fa through artistic performances and media projects. Some talks were about overcoming disease karma. Those who shared their experiences included some new practitioners who had began cultivating only a few months ago, as well as senior practitioners who had been cultivating for more than ten years. The youngest was six and the oldest was close to seventy.
Many attendees were reluctant to leave the peaceful atmosphere and compassionate field of the conference. With the encouragement they got from their fellow practitioners, they are determined to make further advancement in Dafa, do the three things well according to Master's wishes and greet the day of the Fa rectification of the world with concrete actions.
(Clearwisdom.net) A Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference was held on December 23 and 29, 2006 in Toronto, Canada. More than ten practitioners shared their experience in studying the Fa, clarifying the truth and helping people quit the CCP. The practitioners took time from their busy schedules to attend the conference, acknowledging that it is helpful to encourage each other.

Ms. Huang introduced her experience of clarifying the truth and advising Chinese people to withdraw from the CCP over the phone. Initially she mainly called her acquaintances and got over two hundreds withdrawals. She did not make phone calls for quite a while after finished calling all acquaintances. One day her grandson said while pointing at her, "You cannot stay like this." She suddenly understood that Master gave her hint using her grandson’s mouth. Thus, she started to call people she never knew. Initially she was anxious and her voice quavered when she spoke.
"Phone calling is special cultivation. Before each call, I send forth righteous thoughts, doing so wholeheartedly for him or her." Ms. Huang said. "One day a man did not believe anything I said. I was anxious to cry and my voice was unsteady. He heard and said he would think it over. I said, ‘OK. For such a good thing, you also need to tell your family and friends.’ He said, ‘Call me after a while.’ Later he quit CCP and also advised others to quit. A total of ten people quit as a result."
Ms. Huang said, "So far I have advised 554 people to quit the CCP and affiliated organizations. I felt that the purer my thought, the better the effect."
Mr. Ye said, "I never thought of it even in dream. I am near seventy years old and never touched musical instruments. Now I am fortunate to be a player in Divine Land Marching Band."
Mr. Xu shared his experience selling advertising for The Epoch Times. He is the kind of person not good at communication and knew nothing about selling ads. "At beginning, I made over one hundred phone calls, but did not get any result. I was anxious since one day was wasted. I could not calm down. It was really a tribulation."
"Under the help of fellow practitioners, I persisted in the work." Said Mr. Xu, "Maybe Master saw my heart. In the first month I got contracts for more than five thousand dollars."
Mr. Xu said, "Though it is difficult to get advertisement, I did not take it as a simple work but cultivation. I think as a practitioner, once we work whole heartedly, Master will arrange the things well. Thus, each month I reach my targets and am over quota this month."
(Clearwisdom.net) In the past few years, China has quickly become an organ transplant giant. At the same time, however, it has also ignored the source of transplanted organs, which has led the international community to question the legality of these sources. Under pressure from other countries, similar to the SARS crisis in 2003, the Chinese Medical Department has been forced to acknowledge that illegal organ transplants do exist in China. Yet, they have used every means necessary to cover up the key issues. On November 14, 2006, at the National Organ Transplant Application and Technology Conference held in Guangzhou City, Vice Minister of Chinese Health Department Huang Jiefu admitted that the majority of the country’s domestic transplanted organs come from executed prisoners. He played tricks as he spoke, trying to divert people’s attention, and to place responsibility onto doctors without professional ethics who perform the transplant surgeries. He consequently covered up three major issues.
1. Illegal Organ Transplant is Led by the Government
The government’s first trick is, "Give up a pawn to save a chariot." Push the responsibility to "black hearted doctors," and claim the illegal organ harvesting is not related to their own actions. The Chinese Communist regime uses "black hearted doctors" as the scapegoat to shirk responsibility and to cover up their crimes.
The international community knows that some executed prisoners’ organs are illegally removed by doctors in the special "execution bus." This kind of bus is specially designed for organ removal and is protected by armed police. "Black hearted doctors" command such convenient vehicles and police smoothly pass through all related procedures. This indicates it is not only the "black hearted doctors" at work. Rather, there is powerful manipulation behind the scenes to sustain the illegal organ transplant system. Those in control behind the scenes are the chief criminals. "Black hearted doctors" are just their pawns.
Located in Shenyang City, the China International Transplantation Network Assistance Center publicly claimed on its website, "So many transplantation operations are attributed to the support given by the Chinese government. The Supreme Demotic Court, Supreme Demotic Law-officer, Police, Judiciary and Department of Health and Civil Administration have enacted a law together to make sure that organ donations are supported by the government. This is unique in the world." The Oriental Organ Transplantation Center in Tianjing City stated on its website, "Such a large number of organ transplants are a result of the government's support." Black hearted doctors dare not have the courage to take the credit, and give the credit to the government. The government, directed by CCP’s distorted logic, has deservingly accepted the credit.
The related law mentioned above refers to "Temporary Regulations for Utilizing Death Penalty Prisoners' Bodies or Organs," issued on October 9, 1984, by the Highest People’s Court, the Highest People’s Procuratorate, Public Safety Ministry, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Health, and Ministry of Civil Affairs. Article 4 of this document states: "While using death penalty prisoners' bodies or organs we must be careful about the social effect, so it must be kept secret, and conducted within the work unit that uses the bodies or organs. If it is necessary, with approval of the people’s court that has sentenced the death penalty, mobile operating rooms from the health facilities are allowed to drive to the execution site to harvest the organs, but they are not allowed to use Health facility license plates, or wear white medical uniforms. After the organ removals are complete, security guards shall remain at the execution sites."
This temporary regulation was based on a secret document issued by the Chinese Central Military Committee in the 1960s and is the legal safeguard for the doctors who harvest the organs. It is obvious that the Chinese Communist regime controls the whole process behind the scenes. Without CCP support, how could the doctors illegally remove organs from executed prisoners under long-term police protection? The doctors' actions are totally under the support and protection of the Chinese Communist regime.
The Chinese Communist regime will not face the truth, and tries all means to cover up their crimes. The "black hearted doctors" are simply tools used by the Chinese Communist regime to illegally remove organs. China's recent and developing role as the giant in live organ transplants is of course partly due to the black heart doctors efforts, but the regime takes the profits behind the scenes.
The "black hearted doctors" are indeed horribly cruel because the Chinese Communist regime’s dark policy has turned them to the dark side. The regime is the source of their black hearts.
Now that we have established that "black hearted doctors" are scapegoats, this further reveals the regime’s cold blooded nature. After the Cultural Revolution, some police were put to death as scapegoats to protect others behind the scenes who persecuted the senior Chinese Communist officials. Now the Chinese Communist regime again wants to "kill the donkey the moment it leaves the millstone." This is definitely not good news for the "black hearted doctors."
2. Illegal Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners’ Organs
Since July 1999, the gang of Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan, using their positions in the Chinese Communist regime, have acted as a substitute for the law, comprehensively persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Falun Gong practitioners are branded by the Chinese Communist regime as a "class enemy" just because they believe in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," and have suffered the most brutal persecution. Since 2000, the Chinese Communist regime has systematically harvested Falun Gong practitioners’ body organs on a large scale, thus resulting in China quickly becoming the foremost international organ transplant center. Numerous innocent people’s lives have been taken for profit.
On July 6, 2006, former Canadian MP David Kilgour and international human rights lawyer David Matas released their 49-page "Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China." Their final statement reads, "Based on what we now know, we have come to the regrettable conclusion that the allegations are true. We believe that there has been and continues today to be large scale organ seizures from unwilling Falun Gong practitioners." This report has had a huge impact on the international community. What the report points out is exactly what the Chinese Communist regime wants to hide by all possible means.
Since the 1970’s, the Chinese Communist regime has removed executed prisoners’ organs. This secret became public in the 1990s and a well known fact around the world. The Chinese Communist regime has to put on an act to acknowledge this secret, selecting the least of two evils in its defense, i.e., stating that they are using the bodies of "executed prisoners" for organ harvesting, thereby covering up the harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners’ body organs while they are still alive.
3. The Army Plays an Important Role in the Illegal Organ Harvesting
The army is the management organization of the illegal organ harvesting in China. The hospitals affiliated with the system of army and martial police have formed one system by themselves and have performed a large number of illegal organ transplants. These hospitals are not managed by the State Council Medical Department, rather they are directly under the General Logistics Department of the People’s Liberation Army. The Chinese army has played a key role in the illegal harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners’ organs and has obtained huge profits from these acts. The Medical Department has now admitted taking organs from its people, attempting to divert people’s attention from the Chinese army’s role in the illegal organ transplant situation.
The Chinese Communist Party always plays the hoodlum, deceiving people from all walks of life. As a result, the only way the truth can be fully know is to allow international investigation teams to enter China and conduct on-the-spot investigations.
(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Chen Guanghui from Jiangsu Province slipped into a vegetative state in July 2004 as a result of a skull fracture from a beating at Suzhou Prison. He had been held at the No. 100 Hospital in Suzhou City where he was under constant surveillance by the prison authorities. He died suddenly on December 12, 2006 at the age of 40. Some analysts stated Suzhou Prison officials ordered Chen Guanghui to be murdered, in order to cover up the abuse and to avoid an international investigation and criminal charges.
It was learned that Chen Guanghui’s family had constantly asked to take him home when he was still alive but the prison officials firmly refused. When Chen Guanghui was in critical condition, a prison official warned the hospital, "We are not on guard against his family. We are guarding against those Falun Gong people and foreign investigators!"
A hospital worker said the prison officials had always controlled the treatment plan and expenses for Chen Guanghui. In the past two years, Chen Guanghui’s condition in the hospital was stable while he was accompanied by his family, but he passed away suddenly on December 12, 2006.
The prison gate was under heavy guard following Chen Guanghui’s death. According to witnesses, Chen Guanghui’s son had opened his coat and held the box containing his father Chen Guanghui’s ashes next to his chest. Chen Guanghui’s wife and son sorrowfully cried. The wife and son lingered outside the prison gate for three days. Passersby and people living in the area took pity on the mother and son, and many of them condemned the prison guards.
Chen Guanghui had graduated from Nanjing University and worked as the deputy head of the Computer Section and manager of the Lianyungang Division of the China Construction Bank. After he started practicing Falun Gong in 1995 he worked harder and was helpful toward others. He was well liked. After the persecution began in 1999, Chen Guanghui was persecuted many times. He was unconstitutionally detained at the Lianyungang City Police Department in December 1999 and was sentenced to 18 months of forced labor. He was detained again on September 10, 2001 and sentenced to eight years in prison on September 12, 2002. Mr. Chen was taken to the Suzhou Prison. He suffered a severe brain injury as a result of a savage beating on July 29, 2004 and was in a coma for more than two years before his death.

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Liu Juhua, in her 50s, was from Dalong Township, Yuping County, Tongren District, Guizhou Province. She lived in Residential Building #2, of the Dalong Automotive Repair and Parts factory, Yuping County. Ms. Liu was illegally arrested from her home by Chinese Communist Party personnel at about 9:00 p.m. on December 5, 2006. She died two hours later. It is reported that the police paid 100 thousand yuan (to be verified) and claimed that she "jumped from a tall building." But Lu Juhua's body did not show obvious injuries. The details are yet to be investigated.
According to a report, on August 4, 2003, posters and banners appeared in Dalong Township, which read "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Benevolence-Tolerance is good." Yuan Janping and Li Dongping of the Yuping County National Security Bureau, together with Yiao Benxin (head of Xinhuang County National Security) and Li Xinmin (head of the 610 Office) "illegally arrested" four Falun Dafa practitioners in Dalong Township. They then went to Xinhuang County, Hunan Province and arrested Yang Xiuming, taking him to the Yuping County detention center. They sentenced Yang Xiuming to seven years of imprisonment after more than 15 months of detention. He was sent to Dujun City prison, Guizhou Province on November 18, 2004.

(Clearwisdom.net) My son, Hu Enkui, was detained at the First Division of Yongqiao Prison in Suzhou City, Anhui Province for practicing Falun Gong . From 6:00 PM of January 5, 2005 to 6:00 PM of January16, 2005, the Division leader Lu Yang, Team Leader Yu Weizhou, Prisoners Xiao Hua, Wang Songling and Liu Jun inhumanely tortured my son under the instigation of the police at the transformation base of the prison for more than ten hours within two days: the police opened the windows and switched on the fans to freeze my son, who wasn't wearing much clothing, with temperatures under minus 10 degrees. They beat and kicked him all over his body and hit his elbows for several hours. They cuffed one of his hands to a window and tied the other hand with a rope. Several of the police pulled back the rope so that his whole body hung in the air. Then they beat his chest and back. After that they pinned him against the wall, sat him down and pulled his legs apart to the shape of one line. They electric shocked his genitalia repeatedly for over half an hour and he was unable to urinate. He couldn't move his legs for several months and his body was bruised with blisters. Lu Yang forcibly stepped on my son's feet repeatedly with his leather shoes causing him to faint three times. They forcibly put a hot-water bag filled with boiling water on his feet causing thrird degree scald burns to his left foot, second degree scald burns to his right foot, destruction of the periosteum, chronic damage to his small toe and deformity of both feet. His feet were disabled.
Such inhumane torture of detained prisoners causes utter disgust among the people.
It is said that police intentionally torture Falun Gong practitioners to severe damage or to death and then remove their organs for sale and cremate their bodies to destroy the evidence. Since our son was arrested, we haven't been allowed to see him. Whether he is still alive or not, we don't know. The state law clearly stipulates that prisoners have the right to have family visit them. And my son is a good person who is being persecuted. Which article of the law is it that forbids us to visit him? Who is violating the law? In due time you will have to bear the responsibility for what you have done.
If it was your son and your children who were tortured and you didn't know their whereabouts, how would you feel? Here we request that the leaders of various Governmental levels investigate our son's case. We believe that good and evil will be rewarded or punished. Please come and rescue our son. We request the leaders to publish all personnel related to this case without delay.
If you don't punish the evil, but let them continue their ways, we will appeal level by level up to the Human Rights Committee of the United Nations.

(Clearwisdom.net) The evil deeds perpetrated at the Women's Prison in Nanjing have recently been exposed on the Clearwisdom website. However, the authorities there continue to do evil. Among them are guards Meng Tianymei, Huang Fengying and Qian Zhi, who can be described as the most vicious ones in terms of their persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners.
Actions violating the law can be seen everywhere in the Women's Prison in Nanjin.
Qian Zhi is the head of the Sixth Area of the prison. She said, "Do you think there is no way to deal with you stubborn Falun Gong who refuse to 'reform'? See if I dare to unclothe all of you?" As soon as she said this, people standing nearby started to strip the practitioners.
Guard Huang Fengying once dragged Dafa practitioner Huang Lijun outside with several of her hatchet men. Several hours later, when Huang Lijun was dragged back, her entire body was covered with bruises and wounds. Lying on the ground, she couldn't move and could hardly breathe. Seeing her like that, everyone was worried. If she had been beaten to death that day, nobody would even know.
Dafa practitioner Song Weijuan was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Subjected to various tortures, she suffered for a long period of time and her health was very poor. She had heart attacks and could hardly eat. However, the police of the Sixth Area not only did not allow her to take any rest, guard Meng Tianmei even forced her to work for more than ten hours every day. She was also deprived of her rights to communicate with her family, and to receive visits from her family.
As far as I know, the Women's Prison in Nanjing started to incarcerate Dafa practitioners in March, 2003. In the beginning, practitioners were locked up in every area. Later, a so-called "strike hard" team was set up in the Second Area. Each area had to send one guard there to help brainwash the practitioners. A deputy head from the Fifth Area named Xu was appointed as the team leader. She probably comes from Zhengjiang.
Initially not many practitioners were detained. Each practitioner was monitored around the clock by two criminal inmates. Practitioners were not allowed to leave the cell and had to have their meals in the cells. The criminal inmates were forced to help the guards to "transform" and brainwash practitioners. They were also required to record everything practitioners said or did and submit the records to the guards.
In order to "transform" practitioners, the authorities brought in two collaborators from Nantong to help them. It was said that one of the collaborators would soon be released on probation. Team leader Xu worked very hard to brainwash practitioners. She often lured the criminals with claims that their sentences would be reduced, and threatened them to make them work harder. Every day she "had a talk" with a different practitioner. She ordered the criminals to force practitioners to watch a videotape of the Tiananmen self-immolation and read evil books that slandered Dafa. Sometimes she copied articles by collaborators from other regions and ordered practitioners to read them.
Team leader Xu put the several betrayers in Group One of the Second Area and separated those who appeared to be easy to "transform" into different groups. The so-called "transformed" ones could see their family members once every month, watch TV, go shopping, etc. Those who refused to "transform" were brutally tortured. On one occasion a Dafa practitioner from Changzhou was detained and tortured separately in the visiting building (I learned this from the criminal who was in charge of her). One week later, she disappeared from the Second Area.
At that time there were about thirty plus practitioners being persecuted in the Second Area. However, some practitioners who had studied the Fa well refused to cooperate with the evil. They were not persecuted and no one tried to transform them any longer.
Once a guard in the Second Area played a videotape slandering Dafa. Many criminal inmates who didn't know the truth about Dafa were deeply poisoned. As a result, the guard encountered retribution right away and became sick.
I hereby call for all kind-hearted people to show your concern and help stop the persecution of Dafa practitioners in the Women's Prison in Nanjing, so that they can obtain freedom.
Brief introduction: The Prison in Nanjing and the Women's Prison in Nanjing are located near each other, at 8 Ningshuang Road, Tiexinqiao Town, Yuhuatai District in Nanjing City. The women's prison became independent from the main prison in 2002.
There is a clothing factory and another factory in front of the prisons, and an artillery corps opposite the prisons. The artillery corps runs several shops at the front of its building, including a convenience shop and a restaurant. It seems that there is also a small hostel. Farmland surrounds the area.
In the Women's Prison, prisoners in the First, Second and Third Areas have been forced to make clothing. The Fourth Area is the Entry Team. Prisoners in the Fifth and Sixth Areas are forced to do hard labor and are now also forced to make clothing. The Fifth and Sixth Areas are not next to the First, Second and Third Areas, but are close to the men's prison. Ding Yanhong, who is in her thirties, was in charge of the Third Area. She was once a teacher, and she was divorced and had no children. She was demoted in 2003 for unknown reasons. Team Leader Xu and Ding Yanhong were both in charge of the "strike hard" campaign to brainwash Dafa practitioners. Party commissar Wu Xiaofeng was responsible for persecuting Dafa practitioners in the prison. She was transferred from the Women's Prison in Nantong. (Clearwisdom.net) Around 3:00 p.m. on July 25, 2006, most Falun Dafa practitioners held in the Shiling Prison were brought to the Supervised Education Section, which is actually a place for assaulting law-abiding people. More than ten practitioners were put into Cells No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 for intensified persecution. They were not allowed to talk, and if practitioners in the same cell even looked at each other, they would be reprimanded by the guards. If practitioners tried to explain anything to the guards, they would be cursed at, and if they argued, the guards would instigate criminal prisoners to brutally beat them.
On the morning of the 26th, in Cell No. 2, because practitioner Liu Zhijun wouldn't cooperate with a prisoner's command to "sit and study," prisoner Li Wenjun beat him in front of everybody. Then Mr. Liu was dragged into the guards' office (a small dark room), where officers Yang Tiejun and Zhang Sixing shocked him with electric batons on his face, head, neck and all over his body. When Liu Zhijun was carried back by two prisoners, he was mentally disoriented and he had several severe burns. Even after a long time, his skin bore the scars of many dark burns.
Prisoners Li Wenjun and Han Jingjun in Cell No. 2 were paid by the police to threaten practitioners: "Do you know why you are here? Let us tell you: it is for more focused punishment. The police said everything would start over again, like in 1999; if you Falun Gong people don't listen or obey, you will be beaten, and if you are beaten to death, we will just say you died naturally. What can you do then? Who will be the witnesses?" These two wicked people were always threatening and trying to terrify practitioners.
July 31st was a clean-up day. A little after 3:00 p.m., several prisoners forced everyone to mop the floor and clean the windows. One practitioner refused to cooperate with the orders. Criminal prisoner Li Wenjun cursed for a while, and then went to report to officer Zhang Sixing. When he got back, he and another prisoner named Han Jingjun took this practitioner to a corner near the water room, and brutally beat him. One prisoner hit him in the face and head, and the other hit his chest, back and ribs. Other prisoners also joined in the abuse. The practitioner was beaten until he spat out blood and passed out on the ground. When he regained consciousness, he saw blood all over his clothes. The prisoners then placed him between two big metal buckets. Criminal prisoner Zong Yanlong from Cell No. 1 demanded to know whether he would work, but he didn't answer. Zong Yanlong got mad, brutally hit the practitioner's throat, and he passed out again. When he regained consciousness, the criminals washed away the blood on his head and face to hide their crime, and then led him back to his cell. Afterwards police officer Zhang Sixing called the practitioner over and threatened him: "Beating you like this was nothing; next time it will be worse." Because this practitioner was hurt very badly, he asked for a medical examination, but Zhang Sixing turned him down. The practitioner then asked to see the supervising officer, but the police and criminal accomplices did all they could to prevent it.
The following is an example of "transformation" by violence. At 8:00 p.m. on September 9, 2006, police captain Yin Shoudong, instructor Geng Mingcai, and other policemen including Yang Tiejun and Zhang Sixing, called all nine practitioners from Cell No. 3 to the office. The police wanted them to sign an agreement not to practice Falun Dafa anymore. The practitioners refused to cooperate, so the police brutally tortured them with electric torturing devices. The whole prison could hear the practitioners' painful screams.
Police officers Yang Tiejun, Geng Mingcai, criminal prisoner Li Wenjun and Gao Minglong, are the worst culprits in the Shiling Prison for persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. Their torture methods are extremely cruel. For practitioners who don't give up cultivation, they either brutally beat them, or torture them with electric instruments. They pour water on the ground, and then shock practitioners with electric batons. Police officer Geng Mingcai threatened practitioners: "Do you know what supervised district this is? Do you know me? Do you understand why I was transferred here? It was precisely to torture all you practitioners."
Falun Dafa Practitioner Liang Zhenxing was persecuted in Jilin City Prison. Because he kept strong righteous thoughts and refused to cooperate with the corrupt officials, he was transferred to the 22nd Supervised District of the Tiebei Prison in Changchun City on March 29, 2005. Because Mr. Liang never cooperated with any of their orders or demands, and he never acknowledged the illegal persecution, in August 2005, he was again transferred to the Shiling Prison in Siping City, Jilin Province, for more severe torture. Now he has been on a hunger strike for over three months to protest the unlawful detention, and suffers persecution in the prison hospital.
Another Falun Dafa practitioner (name unknown) was tortured in the Shiling Prison until he was completely paralyzed, and could not live independently. It has been two years, and he is still facing illegal persecution today.
In June 2006, the Shiling Prison, working with the 610 Office in Changchun City, started another round of mad and irrational persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners from Changchun City and the greater Changchun area. On July 25, guards brought all the practitioners together and started a round of excruciating torture. For several days, every morning at 8:00 a.m., practitioner Xie Fei was brought to an empty room. The police instigated several criminal prisoners to brutally beat him once the door was closed. Then he was brought in front of the 610 Office officers, who had prepared materials slandering Dafa, and the forced brainwashing with these materials would begin. Every day this cruel method was used to torture Falun Dafa practitioners. Xie Fei was tortured so terribly that his head became distorted, his eyes were badly congested, and he was in pain for a long time.
Practitioner Liu Xiaoyong, who was held in the Fourth Supervised District in the prison, was tortured twice by police Du Guo, He, Li and others. They took turns torturing him with electric batons. His skin was badly burned, and he was forced to stay in a small cell.
Falun Dafa practitioner Shen Lixin lived in the Family District of the Sifangtuozi Prison in Jilin Province. He was a police officer in the Zhenlai County Second Prison, Jilin Province. Because Mr. Shen persisted in practicing Falun Dafa, he was illegally sentenced to forced labor. In 2004, he was arrested from home, and sentenced to seven years in prison. He was sent to the Shiling Prison, where he was brutally tortured by police because he refused to cooperate with their unreasonable orders, and was not afraid of their threats. In November 2005, Shen Lixin was transferred to the 12th Supervised District of the Tiebei Prison in Changchun City, where he still would not cooperate with any orders or instigations. In March 2006, he was transferred to the 22nd District for further persecution. Mr. Shen went on a hunger strike to protest the illegal persecution. He was transferred to Jilin Prison at the end of March. His current condition is unknown.
Above are the facts of persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in the Shiling Prison, which is but a small part of a larger system hiding many similar situations.

It has been heard that practitioners successfully tapped into a local cable network in Pingdingbu Village and Sandaobu Village the evening of December 9, 2006. 3. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Li Ping Harassed Numerous Times (September 2006 Information)
Police from Suihua City conducted a mass arrest of local Falun Dafa practitioners on September 28, 2006. They broke into practitioner Mr. Li Ping’s home and attempted to arrest Li Ping but failed since he was gone. Investigating other cases, a policeman later found Li Ping at another person's home. He immediately reported this to his supervisor who in turn notified personnel at the Beilin District’s "610 Office." Agents from there attempted to arrest Li Ping but failed again because Li Ping stopped them with the power of righteous thoughts!

7. [Jilin Province] Persecution of Practitioner Jiang Yuejun at the Jiutai Forced Labor Camp
Practitioner Mr. Jiang Yuejun lives in Taiping Township, Shulan City. Personnel from the Law Section arrested him and sent him to the No.1 Division of the Jiutai Forced Labor Camp where he was severely tortured and abused. He had to sit on a hard board 17 hours every day. Sometimes, the police would purposely talk with him during his sleep time to interrupt his rest and minimize his sleep. Criminal inmates assigned to monitor Mr. Jiang interfered with his sleep, pouring water on his face.
On November 23 and 24, 2006, guards Feng Wei and Yu Mingzhu handcuffed Jiang Yuejun's right hand to an upper bunk bed. They then made him sit on the lower bed's 40mm by 40mm metal rail and put a glass bottle on his head. They ordered him to remain motionless.
8. [Daxing’anling City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Wang Guizhi Arrested
Policeman Wang Shujun arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Guizhi as she walked along a street at 5:30 p.m. on December 16, 2006. The policeman pushed Ms. Wang to the ground and sat on her, which caused her difficulty breathing and precipitated a heart attack, but the officer still called the police station and forcibly put her into a police car. Instead of hospitalizing Ms. Wang, they drove to her home to ransack the place. Ms. Wang had life-threaten symptoms. Her son wanted to buy his mother some medicine; the police even followed him. Ms. Wang’s husband and son were both under surveillance.
About a dozen officers including deputy police station heads Fu Zhendong and Qin Zhenglin and Guan Congrong, a "610 Office" agent, and Wang Jingkai from the National Security Division went to ransack Ms. Wang’s home. They dragged her into a police car and took her to the local 610 Office at 9:00 p.m. Ms. Wang again had exhibited life-threaten symptoms and was thus released on medical bail. The police forced her son and son-in-law to sign a document. Ms. Wang was taken home, but seven policemen arrested her husband from home.

9. [Beijing] Practitioners Tortured at the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp
Practitioners who refused to give up Falun Gong practice were under surveillance around the clock at the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp. They were compelled to get up early, stay up late, and sit on hard boards for a long time, which damaged their health.
Personnel from the Shijiazhuang City Forced Labor Camp forced practitioners to make a special glue that emitted a strong vitriol-like fume and injured practitioners’ eyes, noses, airways and lungs. Some practitioners had nose-bleeds and tears running down their faces. People who worked at this job for a long time would eventually cough up blood.

Personnel from the Puxing Street Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Fang Lixia from the Ben Community, Dongluxin Village, Wulian Road, Pudong District, Shanghai. It happened on the afternoon of November 28, 2006. Ms. Fang has been held at the Zhangjiang Detention Center in the New Pudong District for over 20 days. No family visits are permitted.

11. [Beijing] Practitioner Chen Shuying Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Chen Shuying, in her 60s, had been held at the Beijing Women’s Forced Labor Camp for two and a half years. She was released in July 2006. But ten officers from the Chaoyang District’s Hujialou Police Station arrested her again from her home in September 2006 and sentenced her to forced labor.
The police arrested practitioner Ms. Li Lianna, her husband and her son, Mr. Zhang Xiaoyong, from the Dongdaqiao Area in the Chaoyang District of Beijing. Their whereabouts are still unknown.
Police arrested a female practitioner surnamed Zheng from the Dongdaqiao Area, from her home in September 2006.

Personnel from the Jinan City Railway Police Station arrested several practitioners. Below is a translation of the letter.
Ladies and Gentlemen:
We, as members of the Berlin women’s study hall, have the objective to develop and form a cross-cultural and interdenominational dialog with others. Given that, we listened to a speech about Falun Gong. This was provided to us because of its interconnection with Confucianism and Buddhism, and today’s political conflict between Falun Gong and the Chinese regime.
The speech evoked in me horror and a deep-set disgust about your inhuman and degrading actions against Chinese citizens.
Society’s vitality can only be achieved through cultural diversity. Once one prohibits, persecutes, tortures and murders in a country, any country, including you, will lose the societal and moral right to exist as a state.
At the same time, such an inhuman behavior does not come from an apparent threat by the minority, but from the inability to deal with diversity and your fear of the minority. In turn, your response is unbridled brutality and murder.
This is injustice!
Your actions are those of depraved people!

(Clearwisdom.net) The Fa-rectification is advancing very rapidly. All Dafa disciples must catch up with the advancement, transcend ourselves within Dafa’s principles, and push ourselves harder to fulfill our duty.
Teacher told us why truth-clarification materials sites should be widely spread like flowers blossoming everywhere. Many fellow practitioners also spoke about this topic in Minghui Weekly. However, I somehow felt that this was not related to me. This was applicable to other practitioners, that is, to those capable and able practitioners. So I was in the state of waiting and relying on others’ in this regard. When fellow practitioners delivered documents, I would distribute them promptly. I sometimes also helped fellow practitioners in the document centers. I felt quite content with myself. My complacency stopped me from elevating to a higher level; it also prevented me from seeing more advanced Fa principles. Teacher told us about the principle of giving up to gain. However, I was stuck with the old principles. How could I learn anything new?
Teacher said in Zhuan Falun:
"Speaking of the issue of one’s enlightenment quality, this refers to the depth of your understanding of something that occurs at different levels in the course of cultivation practice, or of a certain Fa that the master has taught."
Our benevolent Teacher does not want to leave behind one disciple. In order to improve my cultivation, Teacher arranged for me and another practitioner to meet several times. During these times, I saw my shortcomings when I compared myself with her. For example, she had a very high standard for herself and treated Dafa work in the most sincere manner. She also conducted only a little of the casual conversation of everyday people. Her responsible attitude towards Dafa and fellow practitioners touched me deeply.
Teacher said in Zhuan Falun: "I am a person who will not say what he does not want to say, but what I say must be true." This practitioner’s action was a manifestation of this principle. In comparison to her, I felt ashamed of myself.
Once, I had a discussion with this practitioner. She said that every practitioner should play a role in widely spreading truth material sites, like many flowers blooming. I said nothing, but I had a bunch of wrong thoughts in my mind: "I was arrested several times after July 20, 1999; my family and I all suffered a great deal. The environment is now loosening up. If I started a family-based truth material site, what if the evil finds out and comes to harass me again?" Those selfish thoughts stayed with me for a while. The fellow practitioner might have sensed my hesitation, so she did not bring up the topic for a period of time. On a later, separate occasion, she talked about her own cultivation experience. This time her sincere sharing touched me deeply; my incorrect thoughts were gone and I felt very refreshed. I was determined to change my attitude of waiting and relying on others’ help. I told her that I wanted to play a role in setting up and widely spreading truth material sites. She suggested I increase my Fa study and give this topic some more thought. She said that I should be careful and not rush to action, and that I should make my moves from a solid footing.
In the Fa study that followed, we had more discussion on establishing truth material sites.
In the process of our discussing the topic, I gradually relinquished my fundamental attachment. During the past years of enduring the persecution, my body had accumulated factors of the old forces and substances of the communist evil spirit. Now Teacher has skillfully dissolved these hidden matters. I want to thank my Teacher for this, and I promise that I will do better.
After my understanding improved, I was able to dissolve the evil. I felt very refreshed. Teacher said in Zhuan Falun: "We stress holistic improvement and holistic upgrade. If xinxing is upgraded, everything else will follow up."
In the Fa study that followed, my understanding was different from before. Regardless of which book I read, I always found principles in this respect. For example, Teacher told us in "Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005:"
"Let me tell you that those are in fact [parts of] cultivation and unique characteristics of the realms of lives from distant systems. Elevation in that kind of realm involves combining the understanding of those skills with the Fa. It requires elevating one's understanding, a limitless upward climb."
In the same lecture, Teacher also said:
"In other words, if I'm to use the concepts of people on earth to describe it, when you are able to create good things, it is because you are a good person or because you have done something good. Conversely, only when gods see that you are a good person will they grant you wisdom and allow you to create things."
Under Teacher’s guidance and the fellow practitioners’ help, I finally established a truth material site at my home. This is exactly what Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa in the City of Los Angeles:"
"If what you are creating is on the right path, there will be less difficulties; if it's not on the right path, it will be more difficult. Or, when there's a problem with your understanding of something, there will be more difficulties; and when your understanding is free of problems, it will be less difficult. That's for sure."
The process of setting up the truth material site went very smoothly; the equipment was ready in a few days. Fellow practitioners said that it was so successful and that all our goals became a reality. In the beginning, I was not feeling comfortable. My heart was not calm, and all kinds of thoughts were coming up. I increased my Fa study efforts and sending forth righteous thoughts. I soon felt calmer, and my skills improved. In the past several months, my work has gone very smoothly. Now, the printer and computer have become my tools during Fa-rectification. When I study the Fa and send forth righteous thoughts, I invite them to join me. Sometimes, they even help me to improve. When the printer is out of power, it will send off a loud sound to tell me. Once, the printer was normal, but it printed the same pages over and over. When I read my watch, I realized that it was time to send forth righteous thoughts. I smiled and said thanks.
During the process of making documents, I realized that making a document is not the sole purpose. The key is our cultivation. Teacher said in Zhuan Falun: "The entire cultivation process for a practitioner is one of constantly giving up human attachments."
These activities are all arranged by Teacher for improving our cultivation. Having truth material sites springing up like flowers blossoming everywhere is a Fa principle required by Teacher. I suggest that all practitioners take action to help those who are making documents. At the same time, they can also make progress in their own cultivation. This is especially true for practitioners who suffered imprisonment like me. Get rid of the barrier, thoroughly deny the old force’s plan and walk the path arranged by Teacher. This is the only way to return to our home.
There are many articles about promoting truth material sites in Minghui Weekly. I hope that all fellow practitioners can take the Fa as Teacher and become a blossoming flower among the widely spreading truth material sites.

Here I'd like to share my understandings on how to better use of the world's newspapers to clarify the truth. Every newspaper has a column for readers to provide feedback or comments on recently reported issues. We can use it to clarify the truth. Here are a few things that I think we need to pay attention to.
1. Use our identity well to provide feedback on familiar issues
Generally readers who provide feedback will indicate their jobs. As for me, I'm a soldier. Therefore I can write articles on current hot topics in the Taiwan military. I can share my ideas on these topics as a practitioner and I can find ways to clarify the truth and expose the evil.
Similarly, practitioners that are doctors can write articles on how the evil Party has been inhumanely taking organs from live practitioners to make profits. In this way, we can expose the evil Party and clarify the truth. If you are a manager, you can talk about the truth of doing business in China. If you are a student, you can write articles to your campus newspaper. Practitioners that are teachers, clerks, policemen, and etc. can also use their identity well to find appropriate and familiar topics. We need to know what newspapers there are in our local areas and then take note of how to write to them.
2. Remember that our writing carries power
I have had this idea of writing to newspapers for a long time. However, I didn't do it until recently. One of the reasons was that I felt I didn't write as well as other people do. But we should not forget that Teacher told us that we are practitioners walking on the path to godhood and therefore we all have great abilities. Just as Teacher said, "...it doesn’t matter how good or bad your handwriting is, they'll have energy!" (Zhuan Falun) The articles that we write have great power behind them. As Dafa practitioners, we study the Fa and we have different understandings of the Fa at different levels. The Fa strengthens us. With this, we have the ability to explain things well, while everyday people don't have this ability at all.
3. Do without pursuit and we'll naturally achieve our goals
Another reason that I didn't write to newspapers was that I thought things like: "This newspaper has been bought off by the Chinese government. How can they publish my articles? Thus, I would be wasting my time if I write to them." Later, I came to realize that I need to do without pursuit and then we can naturally achieve our goals. "Cultivation is up to you, gong is up to the master..." (Zhuan Falun). Even if our articles don't get published, the editor that reads our articles reads what we wrote. If more practitioners do so and we keep doing this, the editors and even the newspapers will be rectified. In fact, whether our articles get published or not, sentient beings in the cosmos will see it.
4. We can write to magazines that specialize in different areas
I'm a soldier. There are many magazines about the military. If the magazines publishes my article, soldiers around the nation will see it. Similarly, doctors and teachers have their own specific magazines. These magazines appear to be not so popular, however, they serve their own readers and it might be easier to have our articles published in these kinds of magazines.
5. Writing articles is giving opportunities to the newspapers and their readers
Personally, I think we are providing opportunities for everyday people to learn the truth and for the newspapers to position themselves well when we write articles. It is an act of compassion. We need to try our best to write well and use everyday people's ways to help more people learn the truth.
6. We need to keep righteous thoughts and act righteously
There is bound to be interference when we write articles. Since the moment I came up with the idea of writing to newspapers, many incorrect notions have been preventing me from actually doing it. It has been about two years now that I have always been busy doing other things. Therefore, here I'd like to make a suggestion to fellow practitioners. Please get a pen and write articles now. Do it whenever you have something to say. Otherwise, interference will make you forget it or become too busy to do it. In fact, I'm writing this article in a cafeteria and I need to go back to work in half an hour. I'm very happy that I used this opportunity to write this article.

(Clearwisdom.net) Currently, we have many truth-clarifying material production centers, but often the elderly and others not familiar with computers have trouble with the technology. They ask other practitioners to help when they run into problems. I didn’t know anything about computers, printers, or MP3s before I set up my material production center. Afterwards, Teacher gave me all the wisdom I needed. I could then help resolve practitioners' technical problems in our area. I would like to share some experiences from our material producing center and the process by which we produce what we need.
I took a detour on my path of cultivation after July 20, 1999. I returned to cultivation only after Teacher compassionately enlightened me during the fall of 2005. I realized that I should produce truth-clarifying materials to save sentient beings. One practitioner used USB drives to provide some materials. I had only basic knowledge of computers and printed some documents. Later, my mother, another practitioner, and I purchased a laser printer. We set up four material production centers. We bought a laminating machine, so we could make amulets. We obtained software to break through the internet blockade. One practitioner showed us how to set up our network security and another gave us a disk to produce the materials. Our material production center started from nothing, but finally became fully equipped.
1. Study the Fa More and Believe in Teacher and the Fa
There was a strange sound the first time I used the laminating machine. Card stock that we used to make the amulets got stuck in the machine. I could not return the machine to the store and I did not know who could repair it. I realized that I was doing a most righteous thing. After I calmed down, I asked Teacher to help me. I found the tool to take the machine completely apart according to the instructions. I took out the stuck card and put the machine back together. It was actually quite simple. Thereafter I could quickly repair the machine when others had trouble with it.
One practitioner could not get onto the Minghui/Clearwisdom website for a long time. I went over and checked it out. I had no trouble getting onto other websites with the computer. I thought that the evil forces knew this practitioner had loopholes, so was preventing him from getting on the Minghui website. We asked Teacher for assistance, searched for our attachments, and cleansed our environment. We sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the rotten ghosts and dark minions and negate the old forces’ arrangements and remove interferences. After that, I sent forth strong righteous thoughts, breaking through the blockade with my knowing side and my supernormal capabilities. Twenty minutes later, we got on the Minghui website quickly.
Very often, I only needed to touch the machines or just turn them on and off. Sometimes I needed to take things apart. What I did have were righteous thoughts when practitioners asked me to repair something. I do not know what ordinary people would label it, but in my mind, I think that there is nothing wrong with the machine. The evil forces must be taking advantage of our loopholes and this is how it manifests. I ask Teacher to support me and send forth righteous thoughts. If it is a technical problem, Teacher helps by enlightening me on how to resolve the difficulty. I told other practitioners this is how I do the repairs. However, when others did the same thing, sometimes it would not work for them. I think the main problem is that they don’t trust themselves and have a dependent mentality. Attachments of worry and fear likely play a role also.
A classmate owns a computer store with many technicians. Another classmate is an expert in computers. I thought they would provide good technical support for me. In the beginning, I either called them up to ask questions or had them come to the house to service the computer problems. One computer was taken to the store many times for repairs. I found out later that they had never gotten rid of the cause of the problem. I took care of the problems, with Teacher’s help, after studying the Fa. They said they had never run into problems like that before and did not know what to do. I let go of my dependency mentality completely. I realized that Dafa disciples have all kinds of supernormal capabilities and wisdom during Fa rectification. Our Fa abilities elevate with us. Our abilities are different from those of ordinary people. We must not use human notions, but firmly believe that our Fa ability is the best. This should negate the abnormal condition. We can truly resolve our ability problems with diligent Fa study, righteous thoughts, and by our firm belief in Teacher and the Fa.
2. Teacher Will Give Us Whatever Wisdom We Need
On one occasion I discovered that a practitioner had put Dafa material on a USB drive but that the file required passwords in order to decompress. Even with passwords, she still had fear in her heart. The fear mentality is a loophole, but how could I make her let go of that notion? A few days later I was working on the computer for another project and accidentally discovered a way to make things more secure. We could put the disk anywhere and it would be safe. My technical knowledge for the material-producing center did not come from hard searching but often while studying the Fa or sending forth righteous thoughts. Occasionally Teacher would also ask ordinary people to point out things for me, or I could be checking around for something else and discover the solution. Teacher has bestowed upon us such compassionate salvation!
3. The Process of Producing Materials Is Also the Process of Getting Rid of Attachments
Zealotry and the show-off mentality appeared often during the production of Dafa materials. Not long ago, the paper often jammed or wrinkled in the printer at the center. It continued to cause problems, even though the printer was serviced regularly. I looked within myself and found two loopholes. One, I felt quite self-important after doing so much repair work. Two, I felt relief every time I accomplished my mission of giving materials to other practitioners. Then I realized that I was here to produce the materials to save sentient beings, not to accomplish some mission of mine. Teacher pointed out ways to correct the printers when I let go of my attachment about my mission and put my heart in the right place. The printer returned to normal without any service from outside.
The rotten ghosts and dark minions took advantage of my human notions about technology to interfere with my material production. There are three practitioners in our center. One is elderly with very little knowledge of computers and she normally does the printing work. She does a good job and wastes very few pieces of paper. There were often paper jams when I did the printing. I found human notions regarding technical aspects when I looked within myself. Once I cleansed those notions, the printer worked just fine. Another common notion is that elderly practitioners cannot learn new things. The elderly practitioners in our center not only learn very quickly but also do a wonderful job.
4. Security Issue
I usually deliver the materials and keep in contact with other production centers. Occasionally, we cooperate with other centers and do the work together.
Recently, our machinery was not working smoothly. I realized that we were only working with other centers and not producing materials on our own. Working to fulfill part of our obligation is a loophole we need to be aware of. After reaching that understanding, we sent forth-righteous thoughts, and our machinery was back to functioning normally.
5. Magical Machinery
Sometimes, the abnormal condition of our machinery foretold events about to happen. Once when I was about to print something, the printer stopped working. No matter how I tried, it would not work. I decided to temporarily let it go. When I left the room, I found a practitioner in the house whom I had not seen for a long time. My mother had forgotten to tell me that I had a visitor. After she left, my printer started to work again. On a different occasion, my computer would not accept my UBS drive and I decided to let it go. My boss and others walked in right after I had put everything away. Another time, I was making truth-clarifying materials at work when my printer suddenly stopped. I sent forth righteous thoughts and it still would not work. I decided that I should go home so as not to miss sending righteous thoughts at the global time. I put everything away and made it home just in time. The printer was back to normal again that afternoon. Examples like these are too numerous to mention one by one.
(Clearwidom.net) Before I obtained the Fa, I was clueless as to the meaning of life. I thought to live was to eat, drink and have fun. In 1996, I came down with a severe illness all of sudden. I had a high fever that wouldn't go away. One day I was in the middle of a sleep when a voice came to me and said, "Why wait and not start to practice cultivation today?" When I woke up, I thought, "What does it mean to practice cultivation?" While I was dumbfounded about the strange dream, my grandmother, who is a Falun Gong practitioner, came to visit me. She told me to hurry up and practice qigong. When I asked her what kind of qigong, she replied, "Falun Gong." It was as though something stroked my mind. I burst out in reply, "I shall do it!" I soon obtained Falun Gong books, and a Falun Gong exercise music tape and learned to practice the Falun Gong exercises.
Although I encountered some interference with my practice in the beginning, I was determined to do it. I believed then, as I do now, that Teacher will guide and help me as long as I am determined to be a genuine disciple. Next, I would like to share some of my cultivation experiences with fellow practitioners so that we may enhance our cultivation practice together.
1. Eliminate My Attachment to Sentimentality to Pass Xinxing Tests in the Family
Teacher said,
"The issue of cultivation practice is not child’s play" (Lecture Two of Zhuan Falun)
In my humble opinion, I must be a person of great predestined relationship to be able to practice Falun Gong. With that in mind, I must cherish this predestined opportunity more by eliminating human attachments formed during the past thousands of years of reincarnations and become a righteous cultivator.
When I first obtained the Fa, my husband was spiteful. He often fought with me and even attempted to tear up my collection of Falun Gong books. Fortunately I did my best in protecting the books. I am a Falun Gong cultivator that is supposed to conduct herself with Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance and to treat everyone with kindness. My husband's vicious behavior provided me with an excellent opportunity to cultivate these qualities. Besides, he is also a sentient being who deserves to be saved. I must treat him with compassion so as to awaken his conscience. I explained how Falun Gong had brought me physical and moral transformations, and the Fa principle that "with one person practicing, the whole family benefits."
Things made a 180-degree turn when I eliminated my attachment to sentimentality. My family atmosphere became harmonious and my cultivation environment improved. When I was studying the Fa or practicing Falun Gong exercises, my husband would cook or do the laundry in my stead. I would like to thank Falun Gong for harmonizing my family.
2. Being Released from the Detention Center on Account of My Righteous Thoughts and Actions
On the path of validating the Fa, I created loopholes, which the evil exploited. In the summer of 2006, I planned to go out with a fellow practitioner to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. My grandmother reminded me to send forth righteous thoughts before I took off, but I didn't want to keep the fellow practitioner waiting, so I hurried out without sending forth righteous thoughts. Once I arrived at the meeting location, I saw an out-of-town car. I walked closer to look at the license plate and identified the car to be from Changchun City, Jilin Province. I thought, "This man came from Teacher's hometown. I should clarify the truth to him." I approached him and started clarifying the truth without checking the surroundings first. The evil exploited my loophole. Soon the police arrived at the scene. I thought, "It's too late to regret. Now I must not have any fear."
As the police were pulling me to the car by my hair, I shouted, "Falun Gong is good! Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance is good! Falun Gong practitioners are kindhearted people. I am trying to save your life by clarifying the truth to you. I am your family. You must not use violence on me."
At the detention center, I refused to cooperate with the police because I had not committed any crime. Instead, I clarified the truth to them, told them about how wonderful Falun Gong is and explained the truth about the staged hate propaganda of the self-immolation act at Tiananmen Square. They ordered me to memorize the rules for inmates and to do slave labor, but I refused to comply. "I did not commit any crime. It is against the law for you to arrest me," I said. When they threatened to handcuff me, I sent forth righteous thoughts at heart and thought they must not find any handcuffs. I heard the policeman who threatened to handcuff me saying, "We cannot find any handcuffs." An inmate next to me praised me for emitting righteousness. I said, "I have no fear. My Teacher watches over me, so no one shall touch me."
I thought, "Since I have come here, I must clarify the truth about Falun Gong. I shall also go on a hunger strike to protest the illegal arrest and imprisonment." For 12 days in the detention center, I clarified the truth to the prison guards, on-site medical doctors, and prison inmates that watched me. All of them were all ears and nodded repeatedly when I clarified the truth to them. Even the head prison guard was interested in learning the truth. He would say, "Nameless person, come out and clarify the truth to me." (Because I refused to sign any document, no one knew my name.) I obliged and clarified the truth to him calmly. I explained to him the hoax of the self-immolation at Tiananmen Square. I advised him not to side with the evil any longer for he must think of his own future and he must prevent any karmic retribution upon his family. I asked him to watch and read the truth-clarification materials such as the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party when he goes home because all the truth lies in these materials. Because of the Fa's mighty power, the head prison guard never caused trouble again.
Because I had very powerful righteous thoughts every day, they were powerless over me. Finally, they decided to drive me home. They said, "We will now drive you home. Where do you live?" I replied, "You don't have to drive me home. Drive me to the market nearby and we will part our ways." During the ride, a policeman said, "Let's not arrest Falun Gong practitioners any longer. We did not make any money out of it. Instead, we have to pay for the expenses." The on-site medical doctor told me to pay attention to my personal safety when I spread the truth about Falun Gong. I am truly happy for these people for they have accepted the truth about Falun Gong.
Through this experience, I finally understood what Teacher means by "Dafa disciples' righteous thoughts are powerful." I was arrested because the evil exploited my scant righteous thoughts. It is because of Teacher's compassionate protection that I was released. Every time I think about this experience, I say to Teacher's photograph, "Only by validating the Fa well and continuously saving sentient beings will I be able to repay Teacher for my salvation."
3. Letting Go of Human Attachments and Saving Sentient Beings is My Mission
Teacher said,
"Another point is that everything Dafa disciples are doing right now is validating the Fa, because your understandings and improvement all come from the Fa." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Western U.S. Fa Conference")
It is because of my human attachments that I sometimes failed to attain positive results when I did truth-clarification work. Teacher said,
"A cultivator cannot achieve Consummation when laden with human thoughts, laden with karmic debts, or laden with attachments." ("To the Chicago Fa Conference")
I must eliminate all of my human attachments and do well the three things that Teacher requires of us.
The people in China have been poisoned by the Chinese Communist Party's atheistic teachings. In order to break them out of their shells, I decided it would be more effective to say things that people can relate to. Once I clarified the truth to an elderly person and offered him a Falun Gong amulet as a gift. He refused the gift and told me that he was an atheist. I told him, "Think it over. Divine beings are besides us at all times. Divine beings watch over us from our childhood to our last years. You must believe in the existence of divine beings and they will protect you." Finally he smiled and accepted the amulet. He bid me farewell when we parted.
Once I clarified the truth to a man I believed to be a Chinese Communist Party official. I advised him to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party and its Youth League and Young Pioneer's League. He refuted, "Do you realize which age we are in right now? I cannot believe you are talking superstition." I explained, "It is perfect timing for the subject, because Heaven is about to annihilate the Chinese Communist Party for its numerous crimes. If you don't sever ties with the Chinese Communist Party, you are still part of it and will also face annihilation." He lowered his head, contemplating. Then he said, "Please help me withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party." At the time I had very powerful righteous thoughts, so I had the power to suppress his warped thoughts. In hindsight, the experience was the embodiment of Teacher's Fa: "The Buddha-light illuminates everywhere and rectifies all abnormalities" (Lecture Three of Zhuan Falun)
For the past few years of validating the Fa, I feel deeply that we are not far from home as long as we believe in Teacher and the Fa at all times, have righteous thoughts and actions, and establish our mighty virtue.
(Clearwisdom.net) During my cultivation process, I felt that with the constant improvement of our understanding of Dafa, the extent of our denying the old forces should be more complete and our power of breaking away from earthly ties should be stronger. We should not stick to our past, temporary, correct understandings. On the contrary, we should constantly elevate our understandings because "No Dharma is definitive" (Zhuan Falun).
1. Defendant vs. Chief Judge, Alleging vs. Saving
Once we wrote a letter to a court officer who illegally sentenced Dafa practitioners. In the letter there are words like "Such-and-such Dafa Disciple is not guilty." Later fellow practitioners said, "These words contain elements of acknowledging the old forces. We are still defending ourselves, that is, regarding ourselves as defendants. In reality, we are exposing the evil, so we are the chief judges who judge the evil in light of the truth of the universe, conscience, morality and justice; universal law governs everything. The court officers do not have the final say. They are following the evil and committing crimes in the dark. Only we, as Dafa disciples, can be responsible to them and tell them the truth. Therefore, later we all believed that this sentence should be changed to "Dafa disciples have come for you."
The former reflects practitioners acting as defendants, while the latter reflects practitioners persuading people to be compassionate; as great compassionate beings responsible to others.
Another example is, we also have the mind set of "alleging" while clarifying the truth about the staged Tiananmen Self-immolation incident. "This was not done by us. It is Jiang Zemin who framed us. We are innocent." As Dafa disciples, we are validating Dafa. Each of us, just like a particle of Dafa, is clarifying the truth to people. Why do we allege ourselves to be sentient beings? Is it because we put Dafa at a much lower level? We are saving sentient beings while clarifying the truth. We are the main body on the path to godhood, not persecuted people pouring out grievances and alleging their own innocence of the charge in the position of a defendant. In society, our behavior shows that we are responsible for society, and for righteousness.
2. An Ordinary Person Practicing Cultivation or a God Fulfilling a Long-Cherished Wish?
For a long time, I have felt that I was lagging far behind, though on the surface I was being diligent. Recently I gradually came to understand that I did not believe Master’s Fa to a great enough extent and always regarded myself as an ordinary person who is practicing cultivation, constantly breaking through, constantly letting go of attachments and constantly doing the three things well. My starting point has always been regarding myself as a being in this earthly world. I think as though I originated here and am just trying to transcend the ordinary human level through cultivation practice.
Once enlightened to this principle of the Fa, we can differentiate all ties here more clearly, for instance, every thought of ourselves, especially some notions such as likes and dislikes, lust, haggling over every ounce, desire for material things, and habits, etc. By this time all Dafa disciples should be aware that these were intentionally created by the old forces while we were going through cycles of reincarnation. Meanwhile, the old forces try to bind us by using these human passions and theories. At this moment, we all know from the bottom of our hearts that we are fundamentally not ordinary people here. It is not simply that we should let go of these things; instead, we should return to our original state. Of course, Master’s Fa today is better and greater than the Fa that originally created us.
At a certain level, focusing on letting go of attachments is not wrong, however, transcending this level, we would find that this understanding is crawling within a circle. Master has told us that we were originally high level beings from the remote universe who followed Master to this ordinary human world to assimilate to the Fa, validate Dafa and complete our great missions. Nothing in this human world are our original things. We shouldn’t have had any relationships here. Because of Master’s Fa-rectification, the three realms and everything in the human world came into being. Because of Fa-rectification, we formed our families. Because of Fa-rectification, we have our jobs. Because of Fa-rectification, seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter came into being. Everything, like stage backdrops, were designed and set up for the Fa-rectification. We Dafa disciples, through Fa study, are enlightened to this enigma. And we are assimilating everything here to the Fa and saving everything here by using the game designed by the old forces. We were originally Gods who took off our auras and followed Master to the human world. We have already cast off everything we once possessed. From this point, all the attachments that we cannot lay down are after-birth bad habits formed here. These attachments are not from our original selves.
