(Clearwisdom.net) On August 5, 2006, Berlin practitioners organized an activity at Breitscheidplatz Square in the center of Berlin to inform people about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Breitscheidplatz is located immediately adjacent to the Gedächtniskirche Cathedral, making it a desirable spot for cultural events. Many people pass through the area every day.

On this day too, a large cultural event was taking place and loud music was playing. However, we did not let the music deter us and many people came to our display to find out why Falun Gong is being brutally persecuted. Most people were especially attracted to the harmonious exercises and many watched in fascination. This presented us with a good opportunity to start conversations with those who were interested in learning more about Falun Gong.
