(Clearwisdom.net) The 2006 "Falun Dafa School Teachers' Study Camp" is scheduled to start on July 5-6 in Bu Hsin Elementary School, and on the morning of July 17-27, 2006 (except for Saturday and Sunday) in the Guo Gou Elementary School of Budai Town, Chiayi County, Taiwan. Attendance is free of charge. The sponsor invited faculty from all of the schools in Chiayi County to sign up.
Recently, many counties and cities in Taiwan have held "Falun Dafa School Teachers' Study Camps" during winter and summer vacations. Falun Gong practitioners who are outstanding in their professions introduced Falun Gong to teachers and faculty in middle and elementary schools. This activity enabled many people working in the education system to incorporate "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" into their everyday teaching practice, and this has gained affirmation and recognition from education bureaus, principals and teachers alike.
Sponsors said that the programs include playing video lectures of Teacher Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong, teaching the five sets of the exercises, and providing a complete introduction of Falun Gong tenets and exercises, so that the attendees will have a deeper understanding of Falun Gong. There are also movies produced by Falun Gong practitioners, such as "The Path to Return to One's Original True Self," and others displaying the peacefulness and wonderfulness of Falun Dafa.
In previous years, practitioners from different professions were invited to share their experiences with the attendees, with good results. This year, the same approach will be followed. Professor Liu Cheng-yi from Chung Hsing University, Professor Ai Chang-rui from the Department of Business at the Chung Cheng University, Principal Wu Yan-men of Kouhu Middle School of Yunlin County, Ms. Chen Aiying, a teacher from Hsingchia Elementary School in Chiayi City, Principal Chang Chun-chou of the Buhsin Elementary School, and Doctors Yan Yu-hsun and Chen Ling-yu from Tzu Chi Hospital, and others will be invited to give talks at the study camps.
A practitioner who takes part in organizing the activity expressed that the camps have had very good results in past years. Many teachers and faculty have taken the path of cultivation, and this is the most gratifying accomplishment. He said, "Falun Gong has been spread to over 80 countries around the world, and more than 100 million practitioners have benefited both physically and mentally. It has gained extensive support from the government and people from all walks of life in Taiwan. We will continue holding these study camps and help more predestined people take the path to return to one's original true self."
