July 23, 2006 |   By Liu Kuei-ying

(Clearwisdom.net) A 24-hour hunger strike calling for an end of CCP’s live organ removal from Falun Gong practitioners was conducted in at least ten countries in the Asia-Pacific region. On afternoon of July 19, 2006, practitioners in Taiwan's Taoyuan district and volunteer residents motivated local people to sign a petition to protest the CCP’s inhuman atrocities. The activity ended on July 20. The host said that a candlelight vigil would be held at 8 p.m. on July 20 to commemorate fellow practitioners tortured to death by CCP.

Mr. Hsu, a warm hearted local resident, says everyone should stand up to protest violence and killing.

Since March this year, several witnesses disclosed that CCP conducts live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners imprisoned in labor camps, prisons, and concentration camps. A Canadian independent investigation team released a report on July 6 concluding that the mass organ harvesting is real and ongoing.

A local resident, Mr. Chang said after hearing of a practitioner’s explanation, "It is inconceivable that such inhuman atrocities continue in this world." He called all leaders across the world to take action to stop the atrocities and help Chinese people across the strait.

Mr. Hsu, another local resident said, "Everyone in the world should stand up. I will tell more people to protest the violence and killing!"
