Holland: Falun Gong Practitioners Expose the CCP's Crimes of Organ Harvesting from Living People (Photos)

June 29, 2006 |   By a Dutch practitioner

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 27 and June 17, 2006, the Dutch Falun Gong practitioners held anti-torture photo exhibits respectively at the university town of Leiden and the northern metropolis of Groningen. They drew people's attention to the harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners in China.

People who realized the truth of the persecution were enraged and asked practitioners what they could do to stop it. They voluntarily signed the petition appealing to the Dutch government. Some decided to write personal letters to the government.

Two American tourists from Seattle talked to the practitioners for a long time. When a practitioner told them that the waiting time for organ transplants in the US was from two to seven years, whereas in China it was from two days to a few weeks, the two American tourists were astounded. They quickly realized that the claims of organ harvesting in China were true; but they also raised a question -- why did the practitioners only call for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong, and not for that of the other persecuted groups?

A practitioner replied, "The persecution of Falun Gong is the most wide-spread, most severe and the largest in scale. The Chinese Communist regime's oppression of Falun Gong went far beyond the bound of the Chinese laws. To really resolve the human rights crisis in China, the persecution of Falun Gong is the first issue that one must consider."

During the exchanges, the two American tourists also understood why Dr. Wang Wenyi shouted in protest the Chinese leader during the White House function and how an American citizen had been illegally detained by the Chinese regime for three years. Before they left, they picked up some flyers and said that they'd like to find out more in order to take action to stop the persecution.
