On November 7, 2002, Ms. Que Faxiu was detained at the Miyi County Detention Center. Because she practiced the Falun Gong exercises, the head of the Detention Center, Zhu Chenglong, and Lin Hai, a guard, swore at and beat her savagely. Then they handcuffed her to the metal window bar in a cell.

In January 2003, Zhu Chenglong ordered Ms. Que to stand still because she did the Falun Gong exercises again. This time he beat her buttocks and thighs with a "Wolf Teeth Baton" (a baton with sharp points) until she had developed large, dark, extremely painful bruises. Starting in January, each day Ms. Que was handcuffed to a metal door by Zhu Chenglong, Lin Hai, He Wanfa, Fu Wenhui, and Peng Yongchun. (The latter three guards have since retired.) Only her toes touched the floor. Sometimes they cuffed one hand, sometimes both hands. The pain in her body gradually turned to numbness. She was not allowed to drink water or go to the restroom. This torture lasted all day, from morning to evening, and continued for five days.

In March 2003, the guards forced open her mouth with a pry bar after she went on hunger strike to protest the persecution and started force-feeding her. Criminal inmates Xiao Bao, Lao Zhao (the senior Zhao), and inmate Que held down Ms. Que's head and limbs so that she could not move. Another inmate then pinched her nose, and Chen Qing, Zhu Chenglong, and Lin Hai started pouring porridge into the feeding tube. Since Ms. Que could not swallow all the porridge, she nearly suffocated. The pain was overwhelming. The brutal force feeding bruised her throat so that even drinking water was painful.

In February 2003, the prison wanted to take photos of the inmates, but Ms. Que refused to cooperate. Guard Qin Gang slapped her face hard several times until her face was swollen. In April, her gallbladder infection recurred. Zhu Chenglong, Lin Hai, and others escorted Ms. Que to the county hospital for an IV of unknown drugs. Even though her condition was very serious, the prison refused to release her. Later, she was sentenced to eight years in prison and sent to Longquanyi. She has not been seen to this day.

He was seriously wounded, especially around the legs so that he could not walk well. He was detained in the "Tough Detention" squad. For more than two months, he endured various tortures such as forced running, standing still military style for a long duration, exposure to the sun without water, sleep deprivation, and close guard by inmates..

In March 2004, they took Mr. Zhu back to Miyi County Detention Center, and Miyi County Court added another year and a half to his sentence for his attempted escape.

On May 30, 2004, they transferred him back to Wumaping Prison again, where he remains to this day. Due to the persecution, Mr. Zhu was dismissed from his job.
