(Clearwisdom.net) The brainwashing center in Linyi City, Shandong Province, publicly known as the "Law System Education Center," has been viciously persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. Practitioners held there have been tortured with brutal methods including sleep deprivation, severe beatings, force-feeding with salt water (applied to those who went on hunger strikes to resist the persecution), and constant torture by several people at the same time. All of the practitioners were illegally arrested and their families were fined anywhere between three thousand to five thousand yuan.

All this collected extortion money, as told, has been divided between the Irrigation Technical School and the 610 Office in Linyi City. The brainwashing center is located inside the school. The school has long been suffering financial difficulties and is currently unable to pay the faculty members, due to low student registrations. In the brainwashing center, there have been 7 or 8 teachers "hired" as persecutors. Money is a great temptation. The teachers were compiling a list of practitioners, and they kept calling the employers or managers of the practitioners' respective work places and threatened to force those Dafa practitioners to come to the brainwashing center. Starting at the end of 2001 and continuing to today, there have been more than three hundred practitioners illegally detained and persecuted in this brainwashing center.

This is the big gate located in the mid-section of Yizhou Road, slightly towards the northwest, leading to the Irrigation Technical School building, where the so-called "Law System Education Center" is located.

After entering the building and turning to the right, there is a big iron gate; at the next left turn, there is also another big iron gate. The office of the so-called "Law System Education Center" is inside this gated area

Walking through the corridor, there are two bungalow-type structures adjacent to each other. One of these bungalows is the office and the other, located behind a big iron gate, is where the office illegally detains Dafa practitioners (photo on the right).

The two rows of adjacent bungalows, shown below, is the housing for the illegally-detained Dafa practitioners. The bungalow on the north side and the kitchen are surrounded by white walls adorned with a tangle of barbed wire atop the wall. The bungalows on the west side, next to the restrooms, also have tangled barbed wire on the connecting walls.

In March of 2004, in the Linyi City brainwashing center, several security officers and others viciously beat Wu Jianguo with clubs. Wu Jianguo is a Falun Gong practitioner from Yishui County. He was covered in blood, and blood splashed onto the wall. They only stopped beating him when their clubs were broken and Wu Jianguo had lost consciousness.
