Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Since 1999, quite a few police officers from the Huanggang Area of Hubei Province, who were incited by the CCP, followed Jiang Zemin's regime and have received different forms of karmic retribution for their evil deeds committed while persecuting Falun Gong. Following is a list of some of the cases gathered so far:

Luo Xuejian, Deputy Director of the Political and Security Section of the Police Station in Macheng City, Huanggang Area, was over 50 years old. He followed Jiang's regime and did all he could to persecute practitioners by sending them to forced labor camps. When they tried to talk him into his senses, he slandered Master. One morning in July 2003, he lied to his wife, saying that he was going to the park to do some physical exercise. But in fact he took advantage of his position and went to see a prostitute. He died of a sudden cerebral hemorrhage at the site.

Wu Xizhi, male, superintendent of the Township Police Station, Xishui County, Huanggang, was 38 years old. Since July 20, 1999, Wu Xizhi followed Jiang's regime and persecuted Dafa and Dafa practitioners. Under his surveillance, many practitioners' home were ransacked. Many practitioners were fined and detained. At the beginning of the year, Liu Zhongyang, a retiree from the Xishui County Automobile Transportation Company, was persecuted to death. In the morning on June 19, 2004, Wu Xizhi died of an electric shock while he was fishing in the Rearing Pond of Xishui Train Station.

Zhang Weibing, a policeman from the Dingsidang Town Police Station, Xishui County, Huanggang, was in his 40s. On May 1, he was fishing in the township pond. Because he drank too much after lunch, he fell into the water, hit a wood stake, and injured his back. After being rescued from the water, he was screaming loudly. He was sent to the Dingsidang Hospital. Later the same day he was transferred to the Xishui County People's Hospital. He died two days later due to massive hemorrhaging of the spleen.

For the past several years, Zhang Weibing followed Jiang's regime in persecuting Dafa and Dafa practitioners. He twice broke into the home of practitioner Ma Songlin home in Yaojialing Village in the middle of the night. He illegally arrested people, ransacked their homes, and robbed them of their property without any remorse.

At the end of 1999, Xishui policemen arrested a group of practitioners and detained them at the Xishui No. 2 Detention Center. A policeman whose last name is Ma beat practitioners with a pole. Not long afterwards, the policeman died suddenly.

Xu Jianzhong, resident of the Baiguo Town, Macheng City, Huanggang, was a former guard at the Shayang Forced Labor Camp in Hubei Province. Later on he was transferred to the Huanggang Prison as the head of the prison. For the past several years he participated in persecuting Dafa. In November 2004, he turned over into a gorge while driving a motorcycle and died on the spot.

Two directors from the 610 Office in Huanggang died for their evil deeds. On February 14, 2005, Zhang Shiming, the director of the 610 Office and later assistant secretary general of the Huanggang City Committee, died of a myocardial infarction. He was only 48 years old.

Wang Kewu, another director of the 610 Office in Huanggang City, died three days after Tomb-Sweeping Day in 2005. The second day after he started his job as director of the 610 Office, he was diagnosed with liver cancer. He was hospitalized for nearly one year. Practitioners told him the facts about Falun Gong and tried to persuade him not to persecute Falun Gong. He didn't take them seriously and finally received karmic retribution for his evildoing.

Three policemen from Huanggang recently died in a car accident. He Taiguo, assistant head of the Wuxue National Security Department, and police officers Gan Jianhe and Chen Peng wanted to find so-called evidence for further persecuting practitioners in Changsha City, Hunan Province. They died in a car accident on their way home.

Cao Zhiyong, a policeman from Wuxue City; the Secretary of the Political and Judiciary Committee from Qichun County; and He Lisan, director of the 610 Office, all died suddenly.

Zhou Yuhua, a policeman from the No. 1 Section of the Huangzhou District, persecuted practitioners. His son was struck by a car.

A policeman from the No. 1 Detention Center in Huanggang, was attacked and knifed several times while eating in the cafeteria.

Li Ming, superintendent of the No. 1 Detention Center in Huanggang, who brutally persecuted practitioners, was diagnosed with blockages in the blood vessels in his brain.
