I'm a Falun Gong practitioner in Shandong Province. I appreciate Teacher giving us this sharing opportunity. Here I'd like to report to our benevolent Teacher some of my cultivation experiences from a few years ago, and share them with practitioners.

1. Falun Dafa shows its power

In the spring of 1998, I read Zhuan Falun. After reading it once I felt wonderful, and it was precisely what I had been looking for my whole life. I thus began walking on my cultivation path.

I live in a rural village. Sowing seeds at the proper time is very important to farmers. However, after I started practicing Falun Gong, whenever there was an experience sharing conference in the county, I went. Several times after I returned from the experience sharing conference to work on the farm, the situation was rather better. There was moderate rain, and some people helped me with the crops. From the beginning I began tasting the benefits of cultivation. I was determined to practice well. Teacher unfolded numerous miracles for me and created the opportunities for me to validate the Fa.

Soon after I started practicing Falun Gong, many of my illnesses vanished, and some of them became benign, especially the rheumatism. Previously, I could not move and had to lie in bed when it became serious. After two or three months of practicing, it completely disappeared and it never came back. I had also suffered asthma since my childhood. Sometimes I would almost suffocate, and it affected me so severely that I could hardly go on. I thought I would not be able live longer than 60 years. Now I am almost 70 years old, I am in good health, and my family members are also benefiting from my cultivation. For example, my spouse's previous headache and gastric diseases disappeared. Before my daughter's marriage, tests showed that she had tumors beside one of her ovaries. She did not go to the hospital and gave birth to a lovely son.

I have two daughters. Before my practicing Falun Gong, the little one was going to school. The elder one did not have a regular job. After my cultivation, my daughter and son-in-law all had jobs. They are all very respectful to me. Thus, their big burdens--diseases, debts, and heavy farm work--were all solved during my cultivation arranged by Teacher. I am quite relaxed. In addition, the crops on my farm grow very well, the diseases, storms, and insect disasters have not affected my farm.

Sometimes I even get good crops despite doing clumsy work. For example, in 2001 I was busy. My sweet potato field was not plowed or treated with fertilizers or watered, but it was a successful harvest. The biggest sweet potato was about 12 pounds. Another example was in 2002, when I hired an inexperienced worker to plant peanuts. Due to the tools and technical issues, the seeds were planted very shallow and many of the seeds were on the surface. But that year the weather was abnormal. After planting the seeds, there were heavy spring rains. Others' seeds became rotten, while mine prospered because they were laying on the surface. It was another good harvest.

What I appreciate most is that Teacher saved my life many times. For example, I was not good at driving the tractor. Once driving downhill I put it into a neutral gear and one of the main pulleys dropped. I was thrown off. At that moment I was not afraid, rather I remembered that I was a practitioner. I was not hurt at all. Another time I was riding a bicycle very fast and crashed into a motorcycle. During that urgent time I called, "Teacher help me!" The witnesses said I was finished. Later they said my legs were broken, because they saw my legs were swollen and dark. The motorcycle driver was frightened and asked me go to a hospital for a checkup. I told him to just remember "Falun Dafa is wonderful." I adjusted the broken bicycle with my hands and in my heart I asked for Teacher's help. I clenched my teeth and got on the bicycle. I recited, "I'm a practitioner. When it's difficult to endure, you can endure it." I returned home very quickly. It did not interfere with my farm work and practice. I know all those things came to take away my life. Teacher protected me and saved my life. I could only practice more diligently to thank Teacher.

2. Study the Fa

Teacher told us to study the Fa more. To be diligent, the first thing is to study the Fa more. Studying Fa is the guarantee of cultivation. Every day I study the Fa for more than two hours. I think it is all right to skip food, sleep, and everyday people's work, but studying the Fa can not be skipped. I study the Fa with the focus on Zhuan Falun. After reading Teacher's words, I use my spare time to memorize them. I study other Dafa books every two or three months. Sometimes I feel sleepy when I'm reading. Then I will change my position to read while I am kneeling down, crossing my legs, or sending forth righteous thoughts. I treat the sleepiness as a third party and eliminate it. I ask myself: "Dafa disciples are divine beings. Would they feel sleepy?" I use Teacher's lectures about the importance of Fa study to remind myself. Sometimes I did fall asleep, but I regret it very much. Thus, after a long time I no longer feel sleepy.

When I study the Fa, Teacher often gives me hints and reminds me. For example, sometimes the letters in the book are very big or very small. Sometimes they are three-dimensional. Sometimes the letters are in blue, green, yellow, orange, and multiple colors. Between the lines are many golden stars. Sometimes each period is a rotating Falun. Those all made me further believe in Teacher and Fa and to cultivate more diligently.

3. Clarifying the truth, persuading people to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party, saving sentient beings

I gained a lot of benefits after I practiced Falun Gong. After I studied the Fa, I fully realized that I have the honorable and arduous responsibility to save sentient beings, so I wanted to spread Dafa, so I always talked about Falun Dafa. Many people could not understand and said I was addicted to it. Especially after July 20, 1999, it was very common that I was cursed, insulted, or thrown out when I clarified the truth. I did not feel discouraged when this happened, however. I felt those people were pitiful. I also criticized myself for not being able to study the Fa well enough to do a good job at saving sentient beings. I often try to find the root cause of my failure by examining the context, and format, the environment, my attitude, etc., and remind myself to be like the spirit wandering around in society in Zhuan Falun,

"It will treat itself as a practitioner and balance well relations with others, always maintaining and upgrading xinxing. It will not be moved by the temptations of different benefits among everyday people." (Lecture Eight)

I wanted to clarify the truth with wisdom, so I started to tell the truth among my relatives and friends. I would speak the truth in the villages and in their homes. For good people I would directly clarify the truth. For people that were controlled by evil, I sent righteous thoughts first, and clarified the truth in an indirect way. Thus the evils could not easily persecute me. Of course my safety is all because of Teacher's wonderful arrangement and protection.

In 2001 I went to a farmer's home with the last name of Yu. His son wanted to use a cellphone to report me to the local authorities. I held his cellphone and sent forth righteous thoughts in my mind. His father said, "We have been neighbors for generations, why would you report him?" Another time, I went to a family with the last name of Wang. He also said he would report me. I sent forth righteous thoughts. His neighbor came in who knew the truth and persuaded him not to report me.

Another time was in the spring of 2002. Our village secretary, together with police from the local police station, came to my home with a search warrant. He threatened me to make me hand in my Dafa books and materials. At that time I was getting ready to go away to clarify the truth to my old classmates, relatives, and coworkers (I was once a tiler when I was young). So I took the opportunity when they called the director of the security department to monitor me (he has heard the truth from me) to escape to another place to clarify the truth. I have many relatives and friends in other areas. My village officials could not find me and they stopped searching for me. That secretary was later sentenced to prison due to embezzlement.

Teacher told us that Dafa disciples' righteous thought are powerful and told us to pay attention to sending forth righteous thoughts. Gradually I increased the number of times and range to send righteous thoughts. From the original four times (6 and 12 o'clock) to every hour, if I can concentrate my mind, I will send righteous thoughts. Now at any time, no matter what I am doing, when I can concentrate my mind I will send forth righteous thoughts. The range of my thoughts was from the original Jiang & Luo gang to police departments, the 610 Office, the party committee, government, political and judiciary committees, the court, and all those who persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Now my thoughts are to eliminate all the evils, including people and materials, that control, interfere with and/or damage Dafa and persecute Dafa disciples. The results are better and better. So long as we are sending forth righteous thoughts from the basis of the Fa, whatever we order those people to do, they will do it. Many things can be easily done by our mind intent.

Under Teacher's ingenious arrangements, hints, and protection, I have more and more courage to clarify the truth in a better way, and it is safer, too. Whether it is day or night, windy or rainy, in the mountains or villages, roads or fields, farms or streets, homes or stores, I clarify the truth to almost everyone I meet. I also hang banners, distribute flyers, write posters, etc. I often think about Teacher, often send righteous thoughts, and do things sensibly and with wisdom. Most of the time it is smooth sailing; occasionally it is alarming but not dangerous.

For example, during the wheat harvest this year, I followed the wheat cutting machine. While I helped the wheat cutter to collect the wheat that was dropped and put it into bags, I clarified the truth and persuaded people to quit the Chinese Communist Party. The result was good. People had seen that the rain had watered my family's wheat and they respected me, so the effect of truth clarification was even better. Even when my wet wheat encountered consecutive rainy days, it did not become rotten with mildew. Because of the nonstop rain, the villagers were very concerned. The weather broadcast said there would be medium to strong winds for the next two days. I returned home and asked for Teacher's help in front of Teacher's photo. I sent a very long righteous thought that I just wanted the villagers to know that Falun Dafa is wonderful. Then I traveled the streets and shouted, "The excess rain during wheat harvest is due to our county's persecution of Falun Gong. Everyone say, 'Falun Dafa is good' and then the weather will change for the better." The villagers had nothing to lose, so many of them shouted, "Falun Dafa is good." It is truly

After that, for three days there was no rain.

I have a relative who got a strange disease during the wheat harvest: he often felt dizzy and lost consciousness. The hospital could not find the root cause and told him to have the first class care at home and monitor any changes. After the wheat harvest I went to see him. I persuaded him to quit the Chinese Communist Party, and the result was very good. He was previously a party secretary. I have clarified the truth to him many times with not much effect. Now, because the evils in other dimensions are much less, I again talked with him about a lot of things. He quit the Chinese Communist Party and shouted "Falun Dafa is good." His illness disappeared without any treatment.

Teacher turned the Falun, and the Fa-rectification progress is moving forward very fast. Like many Chinese in China, a lot of residents here know about the truth and have quit the Chinese Communist Party. The majority of people in our village believe "Falun Dafa is good." They often first say, "Falun Dafa is good" when they meet each other.

But there are so many things I do not cultivate well. In particular, in our village there are three or four people who stopped the practice after July 20, 1999. I could not help them to come back to cultivation. Some of them even say bad words about Dafa. I feel very distressed.

In addition, since July 20, 1999, I always contact practitioners in the city, but we rarely have Fa experience sharing conferences. The evils have become even more rampant during their last struggle. They have arrested our practitioners, trying to prevent us from doing the things that Teacher told us to do. I will be diligent and do well in the things that Dafa disciples are supposed to do.

Because of my limited understanding in cultivation, practitioners, please point out anything improper.
