(Clearwisdom.net) More than forty Falun Dafa practitioners are currently detained in the Third Section of the Beijing City Women's Prison (The name was later changed to the Tenth Section). The head of the section, Tian Fengqing, has received numerous awards for his efforts in persecuting Falun Gong. He is directly responsible for the death of Practitioner Dong Cui.
1. At this prison, practitioners are not permitted to sleep unless they are "transformed." In order to cover up his crime of depriving practitioners' sleep, and to suppress the protests and the conscience of other practitioners, policeman Tian Fengqing lied to them. He said that he had practiced Falun Gong before, and his third eye was open. He made up stories saying that practitioners who are not "transformed" have animal and spirit possession, and said that they have to stay awake in order to torture the possessing spirits and animals. Tian's words deceived some practitioners who had not studied the
Fa solidly. Zhang Guolan, Zhou Mu and Gong Ruiping were forbidden to sleep for one to two months.
2. The Beijing Women's Prison is a place that destroys people's humanity. The third section of the prison is for the detention of violent criminals who are serving long prison sentences. The criminals consider earning "merit points" and reducing their punishment as their main purpose in life. Usually, they are lucky to be able to earn two points after doing one day of hard labor. But if they help in "transforming" Falun Gong practitioners, they can earn four points each day, and they can enjoy some special treatment such as having a longer time to wash their faces and brush their teeth, freedom to move around and extra food. If a prison guard "transforms" a Falun Gong practitioner, he will receive a large bonus and buy some food for the prisoners that helped him to "transform" the practitioner. So prisoners consider it a good deal to attend the "transformation" classes. And who is usually allowed to attend these classes? They are usually former practitioners who have gone far astray and criminals who have proven to be very vicious toward Falun Gong practitioners. In order to earn this "good deal," the criminals put much effort into persecuting practitioners, even though they know the practitioners are good people who have not committed any crimes. They slander and curse practitioners, slap their faces, stomp on them and gouge practitioners' legs.
The prison has regulations that forbid berating criminals. Criminals who curse other criminals receive severe punishment; except when they curse Falun Gong practitioners. Some criminals who are not so vicious blame practitioners for the fact that they earn fewer points, so besides sleep deprivation and brainwashing, practitioners are often cursed by the criminals wherever they go. A practitioner named Shi Guiqin, who refused to be "transformed," was handcuffed by a prison guard and sent to each cell to receive some "help" from each inmate. At each cell, every criminal would curse her to receive merit points. Criminals who were involved in taking drugs, drug dealing, prostitution and robbery, took full advantage of the policy and they are very much appreciated by the prison guards. Criminals who are less vicious have to hide their conscience and abuse practitioners against their better judgment in order to please the prison guards. Prison guards have little or no conscience left after the heavy bribery of Jiang's regime. Beijing Women's Prison is called an institution for "transforming" and "educating" criminals, but in fact it is a big dye vat that destroys people's humanity.
3. Brutal methods for "transforming" practitioners

a. The practitioner is forced to bend down with the head touching the legs and head and back touching the wall. The practitioner is then pushed towards the wall.

b. Forcing a practitioner to bend over. If he cannot bend down, two people will sit on the practitioner to force him to bend over.

c. Forcing the practitioner to grovel on the floor. Two people pull the practitioners' legs in opposite directions. The practitioner cannot walk properly for several months after suffering this torture.
(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Qin Wenbin, 67, was the assistant factory manager at the Wuxi Second Rubber Factory. In 1990, he contracted liver disease, which progressed to cirrhosis with ascites by 1996 and caused him to be completely bedridden. On August 15, 1996, he started learning Falun Dafa, and through cultivation his mind and body became healthy. He became very vigorous and no longer became tired, even after long bicycle rides.
In July 20, 1999, the former Chinese Communist Party leader, Jiang Zemin, started to publicly persecute Dafa. Qin Wenbin was illegally monitored, his home was unlawfully searched and he was otherwise harassed. In early March 2001, several police officers from the Heluo Police Station in Wuxi City arrested him because he was allegedly involved in printing materials that explained the truth about Falun Dafa. He was later brutally persecuted by police officers Wang Jianqing,Wang Jianwei and others from the Binhu district 610 Office who did not allow Qin to sleep or drink for 19 days.
In December 2001, Qin Wenbin was illegally sentenced to nine years in prison and sent to the Suzhou Prison. At that time, his health problems flared up again and he had to be sent back to Wuxi. In April 2002, he was released on medical parole.
After Qin Wenbin returned to his home, the police continued monitoring him around the clock and threatened him, which caused him great anxiety. On July 17, 2006, he passed away tragically.
(Clearwisdom.net) Since July 20, 1999, Falun Gong practitioners, including my mother Li Hua and my step-father Huang Shengjie, have been subject to various forms of persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
My mother and I started practicing Falun Gong in Beijing in 1996. After obtaining the Fa, she was able to quit smoking, which she found difficult to do before. Every day we did the exercises and studied the Fa together with fellow practitioners. In 1998, my mother met my step-father while spreading the Fa. They later got married.
On April 25, 1999, mother went to the Appeals Office in Zhongnanhai in Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and was detained. She was later released on bail provided by her employer. On July 20, 1999, she went to Tiananmen again to unfurl a truth-clarifying banner but was sent to a labor camp illegally for one year. Unclear about Fa principles at that time, mother wrote the guarantee statement. She was released three months early but was forced to attend several brainwashing classes. Later, after reading Master's articles, she realized her mistakes and regretted being "transformed," so she wrote a solemn statement on the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net) declaring that she had again started practicing Falun Gong.
In February 2006, the police took my mother and my step-father away from their home. The police charged my mother in court and requested a two and a half year prison sentence. But the court didn't accept the case, as my mom's conduct was not serious enough to receive a sentence. Nonetheless my mom is still illegally incarcerated at the Qinghe Forced Labor Camp in Beijing. At the same time, my step-father is also unlawfully detained at an unknown place.
(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Li Baifan, a Falun Dafa Practitioner from Shanghai, was around 40 years old, and a lecturer at the East China Normal University. He died as a result of the persecution on April 14, 2001. In mid September 2000, Li Baifan was illegally detained at Shanghai First Labor Camp located in Sichahe, Dafeng County, Jiangsu Province. He was assigned to the first ward, second division of the camp which was the "strict management" ward for all the newly arrived Falun Gong practitioners. Li Baifan was sent by ward leader Hong Congrong into a group which was led by a cruel person named Wan Shaobing.
Wan Shaobing is from Jiangxi Province. No one, including the ward leader, dared to provoke him because he was so vicious. A few days after Li Baifan got there, he suffered a mental collapse, and only looked around with a blank stare.
Two weeks later, under such tremendous mental pressure, Li Baifan was forced to write some materials that defamed Falun Dafa and then was transferred to the "general management" team. Wan Shaobing was rewarded with one month early release because of his "achievement."
In the "general management" team, ward leader Hong Congrong continued to persecute Li Baifan, and forced him to write articles about why he "transformed." He was also forced to persuade other wavering practitioners to follow suit. Some of the steadfast practitioners wanted to talk with Li Baifan individually, but Hong Congrong would not allow it.
Deep in his heart, Li Baifan still believed in Dafa. It was very painful for him to have to persuade others of something he himself didn't believe in, but he was trapped in the persecution. In the end, when he refused to attend another "transformation" session, he was tortured to death.
The evildoings of policeman Hong Congrong have been exposed many times, but Wan Shaobing's bad deeds were seldom exposed.
In the First Labor Camp, there was another vicious policeman named Xia who is a member of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party). Hong Congrong usually assigned him to persecute steadfast Dafa disciples, including Ji Ping, Deng Guoping, Xiang Donghui, and Zhang Chongming. Xia's wrongdoings were seldom exposed because he left his post in April 2001. He directed the group leader of inmates to employ persecution methods including forcing practitioners to run for a long time until they are exhausted, forcing them to sit straight up on the legs of an upside-down bench without moving at all, force-feeding practitioners who were on hunger strikes with water and hot chili pepper, and forcing the practitioners to hop around like frogs until exhausted. He also forced practitioners to press their heads against the sharp edge of the wall until there was a deep dent on the top of their heads. Inmates that followed these orders, and were actively involved in persecuting practitioners were rewarded with an early release. One particular inmate named Huang Longyin from Sichuan Province was released one month early because of his efforts in persecuting Falun Gong.
(Clearwisdom.net) Guangyang Town is located in the Nanan District of Chongqing City, about 20 kilometers away from the downtown area. One can take a boat at the Chaotianmen Docks to get there by heading east along the Yangtze River. The Chongqing Shipyard, a large-scale state-owned enterprise, is situated in Guangyang Town. Since July 22, 1999, Wu Guochang (director of the police station in Guangyang Town, Nanan District, Chongqing City), Liu Rong (officer from the 610 Office in Guangyang Town, Nanan District, Chongqing City) and Li Weixiu ( party section chief of the State-Owned Chongqing Shipyard in Guangyang County, Nanan District, Chongqing City) as the leaders, with the cooperation of Li Defen (Director of the local community) and Luo Bin (deputy director of the security department of the shipyard), are continuously and viciously persecuting steadfast Dafa practitioners. In order to strengthen their control and surveillance of practitioners, they have paid unemployed people in the village and the factory compound to follow Dafa practitioners and make trouble for them. Personnel are stationed at every street intersection and boat dock of Mingyuetuo Area, Guangyang Town.
On the so-called sensitive dates, when Dafa posters and banners often appear in the area, the police will break into Dafa practitioners’ homes and thoroughly search them day or night. They sometimes even break the practitioners door into pieces. They often order practitioners to go to the police station and interrogate them. They forbid practitioners from visiting each other. They make phone calls to practitioners to harass them at all hours. On one occasion a practitioner went out to buy oil and they happened to see him. They insisted on checking the container to see if there was anything hidden inside.
The state-run shipyard has gone bankrupt. Some practitioners have left the factory and gone to other places to work. Some have gone to live with their children. However, the perpetrators still don't leave them alone. They send staff to various local police stations and collude with them to continue to persecute practitioners. As for practitioners that they can't find, they send out people to look for clues of their whereabouts. They even put "Wanted" notices on the Internet.
The purpose of the police monitoring Dafa practitioners is to prevent them from clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings. Once they find out that practitioners are doing truth clarification they persecute them, sending them to the brainwashing classes, detention centers, forced labor camps and to be sentenced. For example, in Mingyuetuo area alone, three practitioners were sentenced to one and three years, respectively, to forced labor camp, seven were detained and four were sent to brainwashing classes. Some practitioners have been detained more than twice. Details of the persecution of some Dafa practitioners are as follows:
Dafa practitioner Yao Lihua went to Beijing to clarify the truth at the Appeals Office. She was detained for one month. She was sentenced to one year of forced labor for not writing a guarantee statement. After one year in the forced labor camp, because she still refused to write a guarantee statement, they extended her sentence another three months. During her imprisonment in the forced labor camp, they used various methods to torture her. They coerced her daughter into kneeling down and begging her to write a guarantee statement. They instigated her husband to threaten to divorce her. Yao Lihua still refused to write a guarantee statement. Her husband divorced her.
In October, 2003, Wu Guochang and others went to the home of Yao Lihua’s daughter in Shenpengbei District, forcibly arrested Yao Lihua and took her directly to brainwashing class. All people in the brainwashing class were forced to take unknown drugs and have unknown drug injections. She was brainwashed for three months and the perpetrators extorted 10,000 yuan from her employer's factory. Furthermore, they mobilized people to go to her daughter’s house to put pressure on the family. They colluded with the local police and went to her daughter’s home or made phone calls to harass her.
In 2002, policeman Wu Guochang and others broke into Dafa practitioner Duan Fanghe’s home and illegally searched the house. They found Dafa materials and detained Duan Fanghe for two weeks. In July 2005, Duan Fanghe was followed and arrested when he was distributing the Nine Commentaries and was illegally sentenced to one year in forced labor camp. After one year of persecution in the forced labor camp, he went from being a healthy person to a person who couldn’t see or hear. He was hospitalized until he went back to the factory in July 2006.
In late 2003, Dafa practitioner Gan Changlin was followed and arrested when he was on the way to distribute truth clarifying materials. He was taken to a brainwashing class. The perpetrators extorted 10,000 yuan from the factory. On August 2, 2006, Gan Changlin was arrested again and has been detained ever since.
The heavenly net is vast and loose yet catches all--good will be rewarded with good and the evil will be met with karmic retribution. It is just a matter of time. The propaganda from the evil Chinese Communist Party misleads the world's people and causes them to have misunderstandings towards Dafa. There are many examples of karmic retribution for people who have been deceived into persecuting Dafa. The following are some of the examples:
1. The wife of Wu Guochang, director of the police station in Guangyang Town, Nanan District, Chongqing City, had a kidney transplant in 2004 and they spent 200,000 yuan for the medical expenses. But it didn’t save her life and she died after the transplant.
2. Zhu Xianlun, former director of the police station in Guangyang Town, Nanan District, Chongqing City, had a car accident and broke his leg in 2004. He was hospitalized for quite a few months and still needs a walking stick in everyday life.
3. Chen Jianjian, a police officer in the police station in Guangyang Town, Nanan District, Chongqing City had a car accident and broke several ribs. He was hospitalized for several months. He is no longer at the police station.
4. Zhou Min, member of the Security Team in the State-Owned Chongqing Shipyard in Guangyang Town, Nanan District, Chongqing City, monitored and followed Dafa practitioners. In 2004, he died while drinking alcohol.
5. Tu Gang, member of the Security Team in the State-Owned Chongqing Shipyard in Guangyang Town, Nanan District, Chongqing City, monitored and followed Dafa practitioners. He died of an illness in 2006.
We do not want to see people suffering from karmic retribution, but it is the law of the universe that good and evil will receive their due. Anyone who has done bad deeds must pay it back. We sincerely hope that those who still carry out the evil Party’s policy of persecution will learn the truth of Dafa and will stop doing evil from now on and thus ensure themselves a future.

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a Falun Dafa practitioner in Liaoning Province. I was illegally arrested in August 2001, and placed in a detention center. After a nine-day hunger strike to protest the unjust imprisonment, I was released, but just seventeen days later I was forcibly arrested again on September 28. On September 29, they sent me to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, and started to torture me four days after I arrived. In 28 months, the perpetrators used over ten different methods to torture me.
1. Both arms are locked to the sides of a metal stool so you cannot move, or stand up. I was forced to sit like this on a very small stool for fifteen days.
2. Both arms are locked to the steam heating unit. With a row of five units, the hands are placed in a hook between the first and second units, and a hook between the fourth and fifth unit. One can neither sit nor stand, and is forced to remain in a bowing position. After some time, the arms turn black and purple. This torture lasted for two months.
3. The back is locked to the steam heating unit, and you is deprived of sleep all night. Guards beat you if you close your eyes or become drowsy. I was tortured this way for two months. My legs became numb, and my wrists were bloody from the tight handcuffs. The scars can still be seen today.
4. Both hands locked behind the back to a steam pipe, and one is forced to sit on a very small stool. The legs may be in a very confined state. After some time, the arms turn blue and purple, the legs feel numb, and very painful. I was locked up this way for several days, after which the stool was removed, and I had to sit on the concrete floor.
5. Both hands and feet are shackled to the corners of a bed, so that you are in the spread eagle position. You cannot move even a bit, not even to use the toilet, and the whole body becomes very agitated. I was locked this way for several days.
6. In Masanjia, there is a triangular room, specially designed to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. Inside there is a long, narrow stool with a low back. One's back is locked to the back of the bench, making it impossible to either stand or lay down. I was locked in this room for over three months.
7. Both arms are locked to the stand hook of the heating pipe in the corridor. This hook is higher than most people, and one must stand on tiptoes to remain stable. It may have been specially designed to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. When the torture continues for some time, it is very hard to endure. I was tortured this way for a week.
8. I was locked to the heating pipe in the coldest corridor, wearing only thin trousers. I was deprived of sleep, and I could only sit on the ice-cold concrete floor, which caused me to lose consciousness. I was tortured this way for ten days.
9. "Back lock." One arm crosses the front of the body, while the other crosses behind the back, and the hands are locked together behind the back. The neck is tied to the feet with rope, making it impossible to raise the head. One's body cannot sustain such a position, and after over forty minutes, I was sweating all over, and my heart could not bear it any longer. I was only unlocked after they realized that I would die if the torture continued.
10. Binding with ropes. The police used rope to tightly bind my crossed legs and arms, then fastened my neck to my lap with a towel, to prevent me from raising my head. For over seven hours you are not allowed to use the toilet. One police also tore up Master's book, and Masters portrait, and forced me to sit on them, then tore Master's book into small strips and stuck them to my face, repeatedly saying, "Just for you, 'Dafa disciples.'" Another guard stomped on my crossed legs, and kicked my head, then lay down comfortably beside me to watch me suffer. After over seven hours, my legs turned black and purple, and I could no longer move. The pain was even worse than the bones being torn apart. As a result of this torture, my whole body lost feeling, and I could not take care of myself. My mother came and attended to me for over one month before I gradually recovered. To this day, my wrist and leg are still affected.

Practitioner Ms. Guo Xiuyan from Hulin County in Heilongjiang Province has been Missing for Several Years
On April 9, 2004, Clearwisdom.net reported news from China that practitioners Ms. Guo Xiuyan and Qu Feng were illegally arrested while they were clarifying the truth in Dongxin Village, Bodong County, Huling City. The Budong local police sent them to Hulin Detention Center on August 18, 2002. Qu Feng was detained for two years in a forced labor camp. Ms. Guo Xiuyan was released for medical treatment. The police continually threatened Ms. Guo, saying that if she refused to sign the repentance statement, she would receive a long prison sentence. Thus, Ms. Guo had to leave home to avoid arrest. She was arrested again in Jixi and detained in the local police station. After this incident, she was not heard from again.
Looking for Dalian City Practitioner Mr. Xiao Bi
Practitioner Mr. Xiao Bi form Dalian City, Liaoning Province, 30 years old, was a friend of Mr. Jiang Yuntian, but after Mr. Jiang was illegally arrested and jailed, Mr. Bi went missing and no one has heard of his whereabouts.
After the authorities' live organ harvest incidents were exposed, all his friends miss him very much.
Looking for Practitioner Ms. Yang Xiaoming from Dalian City in Liaoning Province
Between 1999 and 2003, Ms. Yang Xiaoming from the Lushunkou area in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, went to Beijing many times to validate Dafa. As a result she was persecuted seven times. Toward the end of 2003, she became homeless. In 2004, according to the secretary of the Xinkai Community in Lushun City, Ms. Yang was once again arrested by the authorities in Beijing and no one knows her whereabouts.

1. [Xintai City, Shandong Province] An Elderly Dafa Practitioner Sent to Brainwashing Center for Persecution
80-year-old Ms. Niu Dainiang is from Xiezhuang Mining, Xinwen Mining Bureau, Xintai City, Shandong Province. Police from the Taiwen Branch Bureau, Taian City Public Security Bureau and Xintai 610 Office arrested her and sent her to the Taian Brainwashing Center to be persecuted.
2. [Yidu City, Hubei Province] Zhao Jucai Suffers Severe Edema from Being Persecuted
Mr. Zhao Jucai is a Dafa practitioner from Zhouhe Village, Honghua Township, Yidu City, Hubei Province. Since July 20, 1999, Mr. Zhao has openly clarified the truth to people whenever he gets a chance. As a result, he has been arrested three times and detained in forced labor camps twice for a total of three years. His health has seriously deteriorated.
On September 20, 2005, police from the Honghuatao Township Police Station ransacked his home and tried to arrest him. He was thus forced to leave home. In February 2006, he went home to visit his family. On March 1, the police broke into his home and illegally arrested him. He was then sent to the Yidou Detention Center and tortured for six consecutive months until his whole body was edematous. Both his wife and his six-year-old son have been repeatedly thrown out of the police station when trying to visit Mr. Zhao Jucai.
3. [Deyang, Sichuan Province] Dafa Practitioner Zhou Qiquan and His Wife Arrested
Shenfang City residents Zhou Qiquan and his wife, Yang Jiayu, were hit by a taxi cab while they were distributing truth-clarification materials. The taxi driver then called the police to report the two practitioners. The cadres from the township and village level also showed up at the scene of the accident. Both husband and wife were arrested and sent to separate hospitals for treatment. Mr. Zhou was sent to Deyang Hospital and his wife to Shenfang People’s Hospital.
4. [Yingcheng, Hubei Province] Dafa Practitioner Rao Xuming Faces Illegal Sentencing
Ying Shi, Chief of the Yingcheng Public Security Bureau in Hubei Province illegally sent Dafa practitioner Rao Xuming to prison for more than a year. Now he is ordering the court to secretly sentence Mr. Rao. On September 26, 2006, Yingchen City Court had an open court session to sentence Rao Xuming. He is still held at the Yingcheng City First Detention Center.

5. [Qingan County, Heilongjiang Province] Dafa Practitioner Zhao Shulan Illegally Imprisoned
On the evening of September 28, 2006, six to seven personnel from the Qingan County Public Security Bureau in Heilongjiang Province broke into Ms. Zhao Shulan's home and conducted an illegal search. Then, without giving any reason, they forcibly took Ms. Zhao, who is 74 years old, and detained her at a detention center.
6. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Gao Xiuyan Arrested
On the morning of September 29, 2006, Du Yuzuo, Head of the Lianhua Township Police Station, Shulan City, Jilin Province, led several policemen to break into the home of Dafa practitioner Mr. Yu Gui and arrested his wife, Gao Xiuyan. She was then taken to the Shulan Detention Center.

On the early morning of September 29, 2006, Public Security police from Xincun, Zhangdian Section, Zibo City, Shandong Province arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Shi Haiyan while she was distributing truth-clarification materials. Ms. Shi is originally from Liaoning Province and had gone to Shandong to work. She is now being held at Zhangdian City.
9. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Dafa Practitioners Gu Junjie and Sang Guizhen Arrested
On September 29, 2006, Tong Huiqun and others from the public security brigade of Shuangcheng City Public Security Bureau in Heilongjiang Province arrested five Dafa practitioners, including Mr. Gu Junjie and Ms. Sang Guizhen. Mr. Gu tried to escape by jumping from an upper story while he was being pursued. He is now held at the Haerbin City Hospital.
10. [Jincheng City, Shandong Province] Li Qibiao and Several Dafa Practitioners Illegally Arrested and Sentenced
Seven Dafa practitioners from Jincheng City, Shandong Province were illegally sentenced and imprisoned. Mr. Li Qibiao was sentenced to three years in prison; Mr. Wang Shaohui four years; and Zhao Feng four years. All three are imprisoned at the Jinzhong Prison in Shanxi Province.
Ms. Zhu Shuying was sentenced to one year in prison. Ms. Tian Yuexian, who is suffering from rectal cancer, is still imprisoned at the Xezhou County Detention Center. Ms. He Chunxian was sentenced to three years in prison and Ms. Xu Yanbao to four years.

She then went to her husband’s workplace at Nongsishi, Beitun Township, Xingjiang.
On the morning of September 1, policemen Song Keqiang and Huo Ping from the Nongsishi National Security Branch went to Ms. Liu Ying's husband’s work unit, confiscated their marriage certificate and arrested Ms. Liu. They also took a copy of Zhuan Falun and other Dafa lectures, an Mp3 player and a phone card. Ms. Liu is now detained at the County First Detention Center.

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Cao Dong and Mr. Niu Jinping from Beijing risked arrest and torture on May 21, 2006, when they met with The Honorable Mr. Edward McMillan-Scott, Vice President of the European Union. The two men exposed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong through their personal experiences, and the experiences of their wives who are held at forced labor camps. They also informed Mr. McMillan-Scott of the CCP's suspected massive harvesting of living Falun Gong practitioners' organs and sale of these organs for huge profit.
For the past seven years, the guilt-laden CCP has gone to great lengths to prevent the truth regarding the persecution of Falun Gong from getting out. All the while, Falun Gong practitioners have been working hard to break through the blockade, and have been successful. They finally broke inside the prohibition zone in Beijing by speaking with Mr. McMillan-Scott for about one hour. Later, Mr. McMillan-Scott revealed his findings to the world. Since then, increasingly widespread attention has been paid to the plight of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
So, what has the CCP done since this brief meeting?
1. Like Gang Members, National Security Agents Arrest and Interrogate Falun Gong Practitioners and Ransack Their Homes
The Chinese National Security Bureau, abbreviated NSB, is a CCP-controlled and funded spy agency. It claims to "uphold national security" while in fact it spends taxpayers' hard-earned money and engages in actions that severely damage taxpayers' freedom and personal safety. The NSB agents have committed countless crimes against Falun Gong. Due to long-term brainwashing and the nature of spy work, many agents are notoriously deceitful and unscrupulous. Even people who work within legal, judicial and justice systems loathe NSB agents. According to insiders, the number of professional NSB agents increases each year and now exceeds the number of police officers. The Communist regime is so corrupt that it is forced to rely on secret agents and despicable methods to maintain its rule.
The CCP fanatically retaliated against the two Falun Gong practitioners after they met with Mr. McMillan-Scott. Practitioner Mr. Cao Dong was taken away by NSB agents in Beijing on May 21 and he has since been illegally interrogated and detained. NSB agents ransacked his home at Room 704, Unit 3, Zhubaozi Alley, Zhaojialou in Beijing for more than two hours on May 26. Another practitioner, named Mr. Niu Jinping, who took his young daughter to the meeting, is under close monitoring and receives constant threats and harassment.
NSB agents also held U.S. citizen Steven Gigliotti, who arranged the meeting. He was intercepted on his way back to his hotel soon after the meeting. He was interrogated for 24 hours, from 6:00 p.m. on May 21 until 6:00 p.m. on May 22. He was then blindfolded, taken to an airport and deported.
Mr. Dong's friend Gao Feng had nothing to do with the meeting. He was temporarily staying at Mr. Dong's home when NSB agents ransacked the home. They arrested him and interrogated him for five days. They handcuffed him on a train and took him back to his home province, Gansu. Mr. Feng is currently living in exile to avoid further persecution.
The NSB dispatched five men and one woman to ransack Mr. Dong's home. They opened the door with a master key and took Falun Dafa books, other informational materials, copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, USB flash drives, MP3 player(s), CDs, pictures, film, receipts, Mr. Dong's ID, and even his wedding photos and marriage certificate.
These agents tried very hard to conceal their identities during the arrest, interrogation and ransacking. They wore civilian clothes, not uniforms with police numbers, and did not address each other by name or title when others were present. They shied away when someone asked their last name and quickly changed the subject.
These agents walked in front of and behind Mr. Gao Feng when they took him out of Mr. Dong's home. They told him not to make any noise because they feared people would know about their illicit act. They forced Mr. Feng to turn around in front of the apartment building with his back toward the street. When the NSB car arrived, they held his head down and pushed him into the car so he could not see the car's make or the license plate.
They dealt with Mr. Gigliotti in a similar manner. The agents drove an unlicensed car and stopped it right in front of Mr. Gigliotti's taxi. They went up to his car, yanked him out, wrapped his head in a towel, and threw him in their car. They took his notebook computer and several pictures he had taken during the meeting, and looked through his computer and mobile phone.
Mr. Dong's family anxiously searched for him and went to the Beijing City National Security Bureau. On one occasion two men and one woman from the bureau went to Mr. Dong's home. His parents-in-law spent sleepless nights worrying about him, and his father-in-law, in particular, experienced severe tinnitus. The three National Security Bureau agents ignored the family's suffering and said they were from the Bureau for Letters and Calls and "didn't know anything" when the family asked about Mr. Cao Dong. Afterwards, they didn't answer within a specified period of time, according to policies for the Bureau for Letters and Calls, and disappeared instead. They never answered the family's phone calls or messages, which implies they were not at all workers from the Bureau for Letters and Calls. In fact, some of them were present during the ransacking of Mr. Dong's home on May 26.
The agents videotaped and made written records of their conversation with Mr. Dong's family members. They began with aggressive questions such as "What do you think of Falun Gong?" "Who have you contacted since Cao Dong's disappearance?" "Who told you to ask us about Cao Dong?" Their true goal was to verify information in order to further persecute the family. They clearly knew that they were committing crimes and they were truly afraid of the exposure of the persecution of Mr. Dong. They feared people's knowledge of the details of the work units and of the agents who participated in this persecution incident. They tried to persecute Mr. Dong's family and even those who helped him. When they were told that the local police and Party officials had revealed the arrest, they reluctantly admitted, "We [the NSB] arrested him."
The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) is currently conducting a thorough investigation of the Beijing City National Security Bureau, bureau chief Wang Chongxun and other suspects involved in these arrests.
2. Secretive Interrogation and Detention - Fear of Exposure
The agents closed the curtains during Mr. Gao Feng's interrogation for fear of exposure. Two of the agents walked in front of and behind Mr. Feng on their way to the interrogation location. They made him bow his head by pushing his head down. They took his eyeglasses, didn't let him look to the left or right, and forced him to close his eyes. Four agents took him out in a car and force-fed him, and didn't let him open his eyes on his way back. They covered his face with a big hat and told him to "behave" himself, or they would handcuff him. They wrapped Mr. Steven Gigliotti's head in a towel to-and-from the location where the interrogation was conducted.
The NSB has arrested many practitioners during the past seven years, including former members of the Falun Dafa Research Association. Any hotel room in Beijing can be converted into a secret interrogation room and torture chamber where the agents shut the curtains and turn on the lights. They arrest the practitioners in a car in broad daylight, usually forcing the victim to lower his head, close his eyes and not look to the side.
The agents' conversation revealed that Mr. Dong was held near Mr. Feng. It is easy to assume that Gao Feng and Cao Dong were held outside Sihuan, as there are high walls, electric wires, sentries, police dogs, drills, and a nearby military airport where planes come and go at different times. The Beijing NSB Detention Center is located at No. 47 South Dahongmen Road in Nanwan area, Beijing.
3. Illegal Interrogation with Cruel Methods
The agents cuffed Mr. Gao Feng to a chair during the interrogation. Eight men and one woman took part in the interrogation, and five of them took turns probing him day and night. They didn't let him sleep from 11:00 p.m. on May 26 until the morning of May 28. They made him stand up whenever he dozed off. They beat and threatened him and used vulgar words to attack him. They also force-fed him, making him sweat profusely and nearly lose consciousness. They used his money to buy the force-feeding ingredients. Local police accompanied Mr. Feng back to his home province. They handcuffed him while on the train. The local police officers constantly insulted, threatened and scolded him. They tortured him with the tiger bench, withheld his ID, confiscated MP3 player(s), a radio and other items. They also extorted 3,000 yuan from him. The police not only didn't issue any receipts for the things they took, they also threatened that if Mr. Gao Feng did anything else, they would move his residence permit back to Gansu Province, send him to their "headquarters" for six months and extort an additional 12,000 yuan from him.
Mr. Feng was subjected to abusive treatment, even though he had nothing to do with this meeting. Judging from this, it is not difficult to imagine the even more severe plight of Mr. Cao Dong, who had personally met with Mr. McMillan-Scott.
Mr. Gigliotti had sent a text message to his friends in the USA on his cell phone during his interrogation, communicating that he had been arrested. The agents were furious when they found out. They forced him to send another false message saying, "I am safe," before turning off and taking his cell phone from him. His friends immediately notified the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, but when the U.S. Embassy representative called the Communist regime, he was told that the Chinese officials didn't know anything about Mr. Gigliotti.
The CCP pretends to be friendly with other countries, but in fact it lacks the most basic respect and trust toward any foreigners. The CCP will monitor anyone through NSB agents. They install phone-tapping equipment at hotels and send agents posing as hotel service personnel, therefore acquiring the personal information of many foreigners. They will arrest whoever is perceived to be a threat and subsequently deny the arrest with lies when questioned. This happens frequently in China.
The basic principle of law is this, "If the law does not forbid it, then it is not illegal." The CCP has never followed any laws while persecuting Falun Gong, and yet the NSB agents charged Mr. Gigliotti with "organizing a meeting," "carrying materials and audiotapes of the meeting," and "carrying Falun Gong information," which according to them are "the most serious crimes in China."
While facing the legal regulations, the NSB agents could blatantly violate them. They arrested Mr. Gigliotti in a car without legally bearing a license plate. They interrogated and tortured Mr. Feng and they detained Mr. Dong for more than four months, never telling his family about the time or location of his detention. When the family asked about him, the agents said, "We can't tell you." They also denied the family's request to meet with Mr. Dong and deliver money to him. The head officials forbade Mr. Dong's family from revealing that they had come to his home, and they forbade regular contact between his parents and other relatives. They deprived his family of the most basic rights that are protected by the Chinese Constitution.
The worst thing is that they kept violating the law while they forced Mr. Gigliotti to sign three documents. The documents state, "It's legal for them to confiscate my things," "Because I violated the laws of China, their interrogation of me is legitimate," and "I admit that I violated the laws of China." Furthermore, they read Mr. Gao Feng their decisions regarding him and forced him to stand up and listen, claiming, "It is to uphold the dignity of the law," while they were the ones who recklessly trampled the law.
4. Ignoring Urgent Calls for Release by Falun Gong Practitioners and Others - Stepping Up Brainwashing and "Reform"
After they learned about the plight of the two Falun Gong practitioners, many practitioners inside and outside China, as well as other people around the world called for their rescue. Mr. McMillan-Scott, VP of the European Union, immediately requested a meeting with the Chinese Ambassador at the EU. Mr. McMillan-Scott spoke numerous times with representatives of the Chinese regime and pressed for the release of the two Falun Gong practitioners who had met with him. He also called for the attention of the international community on this issue.
Nevertheless, evidence shows the Communist regime is hastening its brutal brainwashing attempts on Mr. Cao Dong. They are forcing him to betray his beliefs in order to cover up their crimes. The agents threatened that if Mr. Dong continues refusing to cooperate with them, he will "face further imprisonment."
The CCP's large-scale persecution of Falun Gong practitioners has lasted seven years. The CCP agents repeatedly attempt to brainwash practitioners who are truly determined when the illegal interrogation cannot go on. They try to destroy the practitioners' will, dignity and conscience.
The gods and mankind alike look down on betrayal, and yet the CCP sees betrayal of spiritual belief as a standard of "good behavior" and the goal of brainwashing, and resorts to all kinds of cruel methods to brainwash people.
Anyone who knows the truth of the Communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong will probably draw the same conclusion as Mr. McMillan Scott, that "The Chinese regime remains brutal, arbitrary and paranoid."
For the past seven years, the CCP has arrested and tortured Falun Gong practitioners who bring the truth to light. Many practitioners have been killed for speaking the truth.
We can unequivocally say that the CCP is brutalizing Mr. Cao Dong, physically and psychologically, with evil methods accumulated from the CCP's history. Mr. Dong's life is in danger.
But no matter how rampantly the CCP behaves, the ones who are truly in a hopeless situation are those who are dead-set on following the CCP. In the future historic judgment, all people will have to take responsibility for their actions, and today's kind or wicked acts will determine their future positions for eternity.

(Clearwisdom.net) Most people write a letter in just a few minutes or maybe a few hours, if it is really important. Sheng Mei worked for two years on one of his.
Mei, who is Chinese but has lived in Salt Lake City since 1997, practices Falun Gong, a peace-promoting Chinese practice that revolves around a series of meditations.
"Falun Gong is very beneficial for the body and the mind," Mei said. "I practice it because it is a tremendous health improvement and very good for the soul."
Falun Gong, which literally means "The Great Law of the Wheel of the Law," is not actually a religion, but is simply a series of meditation practices that are meant to bring peace and stability into one's life.
Since 1999, Falun Gong practitioners have been the recipients of heavy persecution, both in China and here in the United States. Mei experienced the harsh nature of this persecution first-hand when, two years ago, the Chinese government abducted his Falun Gong-practicing fiancé and stole her passport.
Although Mei's fiancé has since been released, her passport was never returned to her, making it impossible for her to come to America.
Mei's two-years-in-the-works letter, which he sent to Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch and Utah Rep. Rob Bishop, is a plea for receiving assistance in getting his fiancé's passport back from the Chinese government.
"I have sent out many letters and contacted the American consulate in Shanghai, but the government has not responded," Mei said. "They have no explanation and no reason for keeping her passport because she is not a criminal."
Brought to the public in 1992 by Master Li Hongzhi, Falun Gong practitioners enjoyed freedom to [practice] as they pleased for nearly seven years, until, as Mei describes it, dictator Jiang Zemin became jealous of the fast-growing phenomenon.
"The Chinese National Security Bureau found out that the number of Falun Gong practitioners exceeded the number of Communist Party members," Mei said. "This made former president Jiang jealous, and made him fear a loss of power."
As the atrocities against Falun Gong practitioners worsen, Mei and other local practitioners are growing more and more concerned for the welfare of their [fellow practitioners] in China.
Recent allegations made by practitioners and those sympathetic to Falun Gong include beatings, murders and "organ harvesting," where practitioners are taken prisoner and killed for their organs, which are then sold on the black market.
Although inconclusive, recent news stories have shown evidence that these atrocities are indeed happening.
Articles include those run by The Washington Post and The Ottawa Citizen, as well as a detailed report concerning the organ harvesting investigated and written by human rights lawyer David Matas and former member of Canadian parliament David Kilgour.
"There have been many times like this in history where good people have been persecuted," said Beverly Clark, a Sandy native who has been practicing Falun Gong for seven years. "But I just think it's awful what's happening to these people."
Clark said she believes the alleged atrocities, including organ harvesting, are true because of the stories she has heard from her Chinese friends who practice Falun Gong.
"I was so distraught when I first heard stories about the organ harvesting that I fell and broke my foot," Clark said. "It was the first time in my life that I had actually collapsed."
Robin Kemker, a Utah native who has practiced Falun Gong for four years, has also heard first-hand accounts about organ harvesting.
"The government uses the organs of Falun Gong practitioners because they are healthy," Kemker said. "They are healthy for one reason: the [meditation] practices."
Kemker said more people don't know about the organ harvesting and other atrocities because the Chinese government is so adept at keeping things under wraps.
"It is hard to prove what is going on simply because the Chinese government is so good at keeping secrets," Kemker said. "But we know the truth because we have pictures and we have first-hand accounts of what is happening over there."

ZÜRICH - A flier is making the rounds in the country. Whoever accepts this flier reads about organ harvesting in China. This is an accusation that is collaborated by international experts.
The first thing one reads in this flier, often found on Switzerland's trains, is the story of Wang Yuzhi. This 45-year-old lady was imprisoned in a Chinese labor camp from 2000 to 2002. The Falun Gong practitioner was force fed after holding a hunger strike. She suffered from being force fed through an over-sized tube that was forced through her nose into her stomach. She was fed with her own feces and urine.
Yuzhi's health declined rapidly. Her body was described as "completely hopeless." The head of a clinic suggested that she was approaching death. This Chinese lady was taken for further study to another hospital. The diagnosis was again "completely hopeless." The guards who had watched her around the clock then disappeared. This permitted this lady to escape, and she can now tell of her experience as an example of planned organ harvesting.
Organ harvesting in China has been speculated and debated about for quite some time. An investigation report was published in Ottawa, Canada on July 6. It is the truth that humans are murdered in China for their organs, according to the report.
The two investigators, former Member of Parliament David Kilgour and human rights attorney David Matas determined that in China an organ transplant can be obtained very quickly, and between 2000 and 2005 more and more transplants were performed.
The two men carried out through independent investigations many discussions with those affected by such matters. They looked at statistics and collected evidence. They arrived at a terrifying conclusion: that organ harvesting truly is performed on living Falun Gong practitioners. The alleged criminals are backed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). "Every piece of evidence that we brought forward can be verified and are in most instances incontestable," stressed Kilgour.
"They take both kidneys, then the heart, the skin, the cornea from the eyes and the liver. Then, the body is cremated in an incinerator," said Kilgour. "The horror of it makes one doubt this truth over and over again. This does in no way mean that the accusations are not the full truth."

(Clearwisdom.net) Cat Rooney sees her spiritual practice, Falun Gong, as one that teaches high moral standards and leads to overall spiritual and physical health.
She's never understood how Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, can be used to justify torture and killings in China.
"This is a great practice; it makes great people," says Rooney, a Lawrence resident. "No torture or genocidal activity is justified, but this one is so appalling."
Rooney and a group of Lawrence Falun Gong practitioners have embarked on a recent tour, going to Kansas towns to teach people both about their self-cultivation practice and the atrocities occurring in China.
The U.S.-based Falun Dafa Information Center says there have been nearly 2,300 detailed accounts of deaths of Falun Gong practitioners in China since 1999, and it estimates the true number of practitioners killed is in the tens of thousands. In addition, the group estimates more than 100,000 practitioners have been detained, and some have been tortured.
"We want to go out and tell the beauty of Falun Dafa to fellow Kansans and give them that perspective," Rooney says. "When they hear about the atrocities, they're just as shocked as we are."

Mind and body
Falun Gong was founded in 1992 in China but now has spread to all areas of the world.
It's a form of qigong, a self-cultivation practice. But unlike most qigong practices, it includes moral principles and studies that go beyond exercises and meditation.
In Lawrence, about 10 people gather three times a week to perform the exercises and study the principles.
The exercises are meditative -- both slow-moving and static -- and designed to open the body's energy channels and enhance and purify energy levels, among other enhancements.
Meanwhile, the group studies the three basic principles of Falun Gong: truthfulness, compassion and forbearance.
"It's things like thinking of others first and not fighting back, recognizing things that make you sick, not being greedy or competitive or not seeking fame and reputation," Rooney says.
It's a practice that has found fans in Lawrence.

"I like the multiple facets of it," says Teri Leahy, of Lawrence. "I like the spiritual concepts and moral values and the wellness benefits."
Leahy says she thinks Falun Gong will become more popular as it becomes better-known.

"They've just got to hear about it," she says. "They've just got to learn. It's beautiful."

And that's why some of the Lawrence Falun Gong practitioners, along with others from Kansas City, started hitting the road last month, going to 16 cities over a week to teach about the practice. They're planning to go to four other cities a month in Kansas to continue the education tour.
They want to teach both about their use of Falun Gong and the issues in China.
"Human rights violations around the world are wrong, but this is near and dear to us because we practice this," says Joyce Mitchell, of Baldwin, who practices Falun Gong with the Lawrence group. "This is a peaceful practice."
Rooney, who is the local coordinator for Falun Gong, says the practice has helped her health significantly. She says more than five years ago, she was dealing with major adrenal and thyroid gland troubles that caused her to move in with her parents.
Falun Gong, she says, helped her regain her health and has helped in other aspects of her life.
"It's great to be well," she says. "I used to be this type-A person. How I interact with the world has seen a total turnaround."
Rooney says she isn't surprised the practice has developed tens of millions of followers in less than 15 years.
"It spread like wildfire," she says. "It has high moral values. The benefits are for a combination of mind and body. It's a form of self-improvement that fits very well in Western society."

Yet the definition of "dissenter" has come to include the tens of thousands of Chinese Falun Gong practitioners who now endure the government's most oppressive tactics. A new report ... claims to corroborate reports that China has put to death "a large but unknown number of Falun Gong prisoners of conscience" since 1999 and sold their organs at high prices to foreigners.

(Clearwisdom.net) There is a young lady in a city in the Yudong Region of Henan Province. She is in her 20s, and works in an office in the city government. Her salary is over three thousand yuan. Because she is well-to-do in every respect, her relatives, friends, and colleagues have introduced her to many potential boyfriends. They have introduced her to officials, graduate students working on their M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, men that are handsome, and men from rich families. However, often after only meeting them once or twice, the young lady would decide that they are not right for her. Her mother finally asked her, "All of the young men that others have introduced to you were quite nice, but you did not find them right for you. Exactly what type of man are you interested in?"
The young lady told her parents, "At my workplace there are several older ladies and gentlemen who practice Falun Dafa. They are especially truthful, honest, kind, warm and benevolent. I respect them from the bottom of my heart. I think I will be most happy if I can live with a man who practices Falun Dafa. If I cannot find someone who practices Falun Dafa, it will be fine if his parents practice Falun Dafa."
Later we learned that the lady has read Zhuan Falun and has also watched some truth-clarification DVDs. Although she has not embarked on the path of cultivation, she has strong faith in Dafa and deeply respects Falun Dafa practitioners.
After her mother learned of her daughter's wish, she went to visit a practitioner with whom she was acquainted and asked her help to find out whether there is a young man in the city who might be a suitable match for her.
We hope this young lady's wish will be fulfilled soon, and we also hope that she is fortunate enough to practice Falun Dafa.

They also exposed the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, and other CCP atrocities in the persecution.

The president of the Falun Dafa Association of New South Wales said that Pan Yu, a Falun Gong practitioner from Liaoning Province, filed a lawsuit again Bo Xilai for torture and genocide on March 31, 2006. Bo Xilai has been actively following Jiang's regime to persecute Falun Gong practitioners ever since the persecution started on July 20, 1999. When Bo was the mayor of Dalian City, deputy secretary of the Liaoning Provincial Party committee and governor of Liaoning Province, he discussed and arranged the persecution of Falun Gong at many meetings. When he was governor of Liaoning Province from January 2001 to February 2004, Bo Xilai actively planned and built large prison facilities, and invested 1 billion yuan into reconstructing prisons within the province. Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, notorious for its brutality and ruthlessness in the persecution of Falun Gong, was allotted over 500 million yuan. Liaoning Province is one of the provinces where the persecution of Falun Gong has been the most severe. More than 90 Falun Gong practitioners had been tortured to death in Liaoning Province from 1999 to 2003. Pan Yu was also beaten with electric batons.
The recently-disclosed secret concentration camp in the Sujiatun District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province held about 6,000 Falun Gong practitioners from the northeast area of China at one time. Witnesses revealed that there is usually a large number of doctors there, and it also contains a crematorium. It is believed that Falun Gong practitioners have had their organs harvested there while still alive and their murdered bodies cremated immediately to destroy the evidence. According to the evidence collected by a Canadian independent investigation team, Bo Xilai has been directly involved in the organ harvesting. The president of the Falun Dafa Association of New South Wales called upon all the governments of the world to forbid murderers such as Bo Xilai from entering their countries.
The Falun Dafa Association president said that Australia is a democratic country, not a paradise for the murderers. The association has already written to the Attorney-General of Australia, asking him to forbid Bo Xilai entry into Australia. Since Bo is already in Australia now, the association asked the Attorney-General to issue an order for his arrest.
Many Falun Gong practitioners also spoke to expose Bo Xilai’s crimes. Practitioners called upon all people of conscience to help to stop the persecution and bring the murderers to justice.
Falun Gong practitioners formed a "great wall" with banners, which attracted the attention of many people. A group of high school students were shocked by the CCP’s brutality. They said that the whole world should condemn the crimes and the Australian government should stop trade relationships with the CCP. One of the students asked practitioners for a T-shirt, which exposes the truth of the persecution. He said that he wanted more people to know about the persecution. Many people signed their names to support Falun Gong.
Background:
On March 31, 2006, Falun Gong practitioner Pan Yu filed a lawsuit against Chinese Commerce Minister Bo Xilai, accusing him of crimes of torture and genocide. The Supreme Court in New South Wales officially accepted his submission according to International law and Australian law, and held the hearings on April 10 and August 7, 2006. The next hearing will be on October 30.
Bo has been sued by Falun Gong practitioners for murder, torture, and genocide, in the USA, England, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Russia, Australia, Korea, Spain and Sweden.

The Multicultural Festival is an annual event in Ashfield. It offers an opportunity for different groups to display their own culture. The festival has an 11-year history. Falun Gong practitioners have participated for the last four years. This year, practitioners taught the local people the Falun Gong exercises, how to fold paper lotus flowers, and Chinese calligraphy. Since practitioners have continued to clarify the truth to the local government, many members of the government know the truth about Falun Gong and support it. The city government invited practitioners to perform at the festival. The Divine Land Marching Band played "Falun Dafa is Good." Young practitioners performed a traditional Chinese dance. Practitioners also demonstrated the exercises.
Many local people were interested in learning Falun Gong. They asked for detailed information. Many of them learned the truth of the persecution and signed their names to support Falun Gong. One senior lady said "Falun Dafa is good" after seeing the exercise demonstration. She said that she has backaches, and she wanted to learn the exercises.
There are many Chinese people living in Ashfield, and most of them are from Mainland China. Due to the lies perpetrated by the Chinese Communist Party, many Chinese were hostile to Falun Gong practitioners years ago. Because of practitioners' consistent efforts to clarify the truth, more and more Chinese have started to accept the truth-clarifying materials, and more and more Chinese people have started to learn the truth of Falun Gong and the persecution against it. With the help of every practitioner, the activity was a great success.
(Clearwisdom.net) Last Sunday October 15, 2006, was the Jaiang-myeon Festival in Incheon, South Korea. More than ten thousand overseas Chinese joyously gathered in Chinatown where most Chinese people live. The Divine Land Marching Band, composed of Falun Gong practitioners, performed the entire day in the square located at the main entrance to Chinatown. The performances attracted a lot of spectators.

The Divine Land Marching Band’s orderly and stately lineup and graceful performance left a deep impression on the spectators. Some people attentively read the truth clarification display boards, some carefully read the truth clarification materials, some signed a petition to rescue persecuted Falun Gong practitioners and condemn the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Some Chinese people announced their resignation from the CCP and its affiliated organizations on the spot.
After the performance was over in the afternoon, some spectators bought drinks for everyone to express their gratitude to the Divine Land Marching Band for playing such beautiful music for them.

I'm a sixty-seven year-old Dafa disciple in Chongqing City who began Dafa practice ten years ago in 1996. I have been through many ups and downs on my cultivation path. I was also affected after the persecution of Dafa and Dafa disciples began in 1999, and had serious sickness karma later on. But with fellow practitioners' help and under Dafa's guidance I passed a deadly test, broke through the old forces' persecution, and returned to Fa-rectification cultivation.
In 2002, local police illegally arrested and took me to a brainwashing class where I was severely tortured. I began to feel sick after I was released in 2003. I couldn't eat or sleep well, and my whole body was swollen. When the swelling went down I was so emaciated that I looked like a skeleton. My family and my friends took me to a hospital. I was diagnosed with leukemia. As it was a fatal illness, even the hospital couldn't help me. I had to go home. Soon I couldn't get out of bed, and hard lumps could be felt along my waist. My family carried me to the hospital again on a stretcher. Friends and family often said behind my back, "This time he will not come back again."
A practitioner came to visit me when I was at the brink of death. She brought along many truth-clarification materials and told me, "(We should) walk the path Master arranged for us. Don't acknowledge the old forces' persecution of us."
Her words suddenly woke me up. Wasn't Master using this practitioner to remind me? Bad people and wicked policemen forced me to go through five months of brainwashing last year, which was actually the old forces' persecution. Now the demons made me feel sick, which was also the old forces' persecution - merely another method, another form.
I thought that having found the criminals that persecuted me I wouldn't let them get away with it this time. "I, a Dafa disciple during the Fa-rectification period, need to validate Dafa. What I was doing was the most magnificent and sacred thing in the cosmos. No one had the right to hurt me. In addition to not acknowledging the old forces' arrangements, I should also eliminate them and not allow them to exist."
The sickness demon was nothing. Which hell dares to have me, an upright Dafa disciple? That night in the hospital I had a dream: I was in front of a dam, which had a big, dark entrance and a guard on both sides. I went up to the entrance, but the guard did not let me get in and said, "You don't belong here. Why are you going in?" I was held back.
I felt grateful when I woke up and couldn't hold back my tears. I knew that Master was saving me. Within a day the cancerous lumps in my waist went away, and I felt better mentally. I felt that the hospital was not the right place for me to stay. I insisted on being released. Not long after going home I recovered quickly and resumed the state of a cultivator.
My friends, family, and relatives spread my experience of passing this deadly test as if it were a fairy tale. I also use my personal experience to more assertively validate the Fa, clarify the truth and offer sentient beings salvation.
(Clearwisdom.net) I began Falun Dafa practice in November 1998, and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution against Dafa shortly afterward. Because I had not studied the Fa well, I gave up cultivating under pressure from family members. Nevertheless, Master often gave me hints in my dreams. I remember Master looked at me seriously once and said I should not give up cultivation -that I should walk my own path. From July 20, 1999 to 2003, Master never gave up on me. He reminded me many times in my dreams, yet I did not come back to Dafa. My enlightenment was really too low at the time.
Once I said to my wife, "This is unbelievable. I have not cultivated for a long time. Why does Master always remind me in my dreams? I am starting to believe in Master, and believe that Master is taking care of me. I want to start cultivation again."
One day in 2003 I ran into a fellow practitioner in the grocery market. She asked me if I was still cultivating. I said no. She spoke soberly with me, "How could you give up? Master’s Fa-rectification will soon reach the human world! Hurry up and cultivate." Her words shocked me. I went to visit a fellow practitioner that afternoon and asked her to give me Master’s new lectures from the past years. I started studying the Fa that night. Since I had stopped practicing for too long, I could not even remember how to do the exercises. That night, in my dream, Master taught me the exercises. I do not know what words can express my appreciation to our Master.
When I first ventured out to validate Dafa I did not know what to do. Thanks to Master’s protection and fellow practitioners’ help, I soon joined in with the Fa validation. At first I was quite afraid. I even felt afraid when going to get a "Minghui Weekly" from another practitioner. Once when distributing truth clarification materials I left many materials on the roadside. I wanted to offer people salvation, yet I did not know how. By studying the Fa, sending forth righteous thoughts and sharing with practitioners, I did better and better.
One day on my way to a practitioner’s home I remembered Master’s words,
"We do not require directions, either, because the whole universe is in motion. The Milky Way is in motion, and the nine planets are orbiting the sun. Earth is also self-rotating. We practice according to this great principle of the universe. Where is east, south, west, or north? There is none." ("Lecture One" from Zhuan Falun, 2000 translation version)
All of a sudden I realized there is nothing I should be afraid of. There are so many people on the street. No one knows I practice Falun Gong. I should not be afraid, rather the evil should be afraid! I must assist Master in the human world, offer more people salvation and fulfill my prehistoric oath.
Since then I have begun to clarify the truth about Dafa to relatives and friends. I helped transfer truth clarifying materials and did other work validating Dafa. When Minghui/Clearwisdom suggested to build more small truth clarification materials production centers I started making materials myself. Though there have been interferences, I believe Master is always with me and protects me. There is nothing to be afraid of.
Dear fellow practitioners: Let’s all cultivate diligently. I truly hope other former practitioners who gave up cultivation return to cultivation as soon as possible. Master is waiting for us, yet the opportunities are fewer and fewer! Please make the right choice for yourselves.

(Clearwisdom.net) A five year-old practitioner finds preschool to be a great place to encourage others to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its related organizations. When she plays with her friends, she always tells them not to fight, "...because if you hit someone you will lose de [virtue] and will give others the good things on your body." Seeing other children playing with bugs she would tell them, "Bugs have lives too, and you should not carelessly take a life." She would tell the sick children, "You must remember that Falun Dafa is good, and Zhen-Shan-Ren [Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance] is good."
All the children who play with this young disciple know that "Falun Dafa is good" and "Zhen-Shan-Ren is good." When others bully this practitioner she does not retaliate, and she even told the preschool teacher, "Master taught us that one should not fight back when being punched or insulted. I'm a Dafa disciple, I can't be the same as a non-practitioner." When she had a high fever of 38 degrees Celsius (100.4oF), her non-practitioner father suggested that she take medication. She replied, "Master is just purifying my body." Her mother and grandmother both practice Falun Dafa.
Her mother was older when she gave birth to her and is extremely fond of her daughter. The young disciple said, "Mother, you love me too much. Isn't this a sentiment? It's just another attachment that should be removed." She also asked her mother to let her listen to Master's lectures every morning before going to school.
This young disciple does even better in encouraging others to withdraw from the Communist organizations, as she does this anywhere she goes without any fear. For example, when meeting another student's parents she will say, "Ma'am, have you heard of the three withdrawals to preserve peace? The three withdrawals refer to withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party, the Youth League, and the Young Pioneers. You should make your withdrawal now!" Here her mother will also join in and help, adding her own righteous thoughts. Generally, for each person they speak to there is one more withdrawal. Whether it's on the street, in the market or on the playground, this young practitioner takes it upon herself to ask others to withdraw. She even constantly tells her mother to hurry up to get others to withdraw.
Seeing the extraordinary behavior of this young disciple, we can truly feel that we, too, are shouldering just as great a responsibility we have to fulfill. Even now there are still many sentient beings who have not learned the true facts about the persecution. We practitioners who are less diligent must quickly drop our human attachments, must diligently accomplish the three things, help the sentient beings quickly escape the evil party's harm, and not disappoint Master's compassion.
(Clearwisdom.net) I started to practice Falun Dafa in 1994. Prior to taking up the practice I was a very competitive person. I could not tolerate others' criticizing me one bit. I had a bad temper, I looked down on others, and I fought frequently with my husband. After I started to practice Falun Dafa, I became a different person. My mind and body elevated and improved. I never quarreled with my mother-in-law, father-in-law, aunt or uncle. We all got along very well. When my in-laws saw that our entire family had become healthy and happy because of practicing Falun Dafa, they also began to study the Fa and do the exercises. Our entire family was bathed in the happiness brought to us by Falun Dafa.
After July 20, 1999, when Jiang's regime started to persecute Falun Gong, my in-laws were afraid to validate the Fa openly. Soon they stopped practicing. When my husband and I went to Beijing to validate the Fa, they could not understand our actions. They criticized us for being foolish, saying, "Why don’t you just live a comfortable life? Instead, you are fighting the CCP. Why don’t you practice secretly at home?" We asked them, "What is wrong with practicing Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance?" However, they continued to criticize us, even saying things that were disrespectful to Teacher and to Dafa.
Whenever my husband and I went to visit them, they criticized us. After returning home, I could not maintain a calm heart. I had regrets about buying them a television, a telephone, Falun Dafa books to help them to do the exercises, along with other items. I felt that they were fearful and acted like ordinary people, disrespecting Teacher and Dafa. I was angry that they were ungrateful. I was also angry that, despite the health improvements they experienced due to practicing Falun Dafa, they were still speaking for the evil. My heart was full of anger, and I felt very bad. I decided that I would never visit them again in their home. Even the mere mention of them was enough to upset me. I even swore at them.
Through studying the Fa, I enlightened to the fact that my competitive mentality had been stirred up during the process of the above-mentioned incidents. I realized that I needed to eliminate the evil beings behind my in-laws and that it was these evil beings who were controlling them. The words they spoke were not from their true selves. The evil beings were also controlling me when I swore at them, and spoke words that should not be spoken by a true practitioner. I started to study the Fa more diligently. The more I studied, the stronger my righteous thoughts became. After I eliminated my competitive mentality, I again clarified the truth to them and showed them truth-clarification materials. Then they changed their attitudes.
When I clarified the truth in my daily life, my attachments were also exposed. When I first began to clarify the truth, I had to repeat myself several times to classmates and friends before I succeeded. Every time I met someone who was easy to clarify the truth to, I felt secretly happy in my heart. I enlightened to the fact that this was an attachment to complacency, and therefore I should suppress it and control it. When I met someone who was difficult to clarify the truth to, and when that person wanted to debate with me, I sometimes could not succeed in clarifying the truth to them even after several attempts. I would then look down on that person. Although I did not show it to that person during my attempt to clarify the truth, I would speak badly about that person when I got home. All of these are manifestations of the competitive mentality.
Through continuous Fa study and cultivation of the heart, I found that, when I searched in depth, the root of my competitive mentality contained selfishness. The old cosmos is selfish, while the new cosmos is selfless. Dafa is for cultivators to succeed in cultivation and become righteous enlightened beings who are selfless. Therefore, we must be within the Fa when we speak every word, think every thought and do every act. During the Fa rectification, in order to clarify the truth and save sentient beings, we must eliminate all interferences and conform to the requirements of Dafa with a pure, righteous, clear, and calm heart.
(Clearwisdom.net) My wife is not yet a practitioner. At first, she opposed my cultivation. She misunderstood Dafa, especially after being poisoned by the Chinese Communist Party's slanderous propaganda. I consistently "clarified truth" to her and gradually changed her understanding. She showed interest in Dafa on several occasions and wanted to cultivate. Unfortunately, she still has not begun to cultivate. I often talk to her about Dafa and about being a good person. Sometimes I also tell her about Fa principles. I also told her about being forbearing instead of fighting with others.
Although she may not understand the principles of cultivation and may not be that forbearing, my wife has changed a lot. For example, she had a bad temper before and often fought with coworkers. Sometimes the conflicts were quite fierce. Now she has fewer conflicts. When she does run into a conflict, she only feels sad for a while and then lets it go. When she handles conflicts like a Dafa practitioner, I am very clear in my mind that no conflict is accidental. The conflict is not just aimed at her, but also aimed at me, to test how I will react.
Most of the xinxing tests I encountered had something to do with my wife’s conflicts.
My wife works in a bank. A few days ago, she happily told me what happened at work. A customer inadvertently gave her an extra 1,000 yuan when making a deposit. My wife did not realize it until later. When she found the extra 1,000 yuan, she pondered for a long time whether she should return it or to keep it for herself. She finally decided to return it, because it is more important to have a good future than to get 1,000 yuan now. She said that there were several similar incidents, and she did the right thing each time. I was very glad to hear this. I have always told her that we should not take anything that is not ours. As an ordinary person, what she had done was very good. However, I did not expect what happened next.
Two days later, someone told me that a coworker had bad-mouthed my wife to her supervisor. My wife was accused of giving the extra 1,000 yuan to her relatives. My wife did not pay attention to this rumor at first, because she knew what had happened. Another day passed. My wife heard that her supervisor believed the rumor and wanted to question her. She could not take it any longer and got angry at the coworker and supervisor. After the investigation, the supervisor discovered the truth, but the conflict did not end. The supervisor insisted that what she did was wrong, and criticized her for not respecting the supervisor. The supervisor made a report to the director. The director told my wife to write a self-criticism and refrain from any further explanation. The director was to withhold my wife’s bonus if she refused to write the self-criticism. I did not expect this incident would turn out like this. It started out as a good thing. How did it turn into a bad thing? My wife cried.
Teacher said in Zhuan Falun,
"But normally when a problem arises, if it does not irritate a person psychologically, it does not count or is useless and cannot make him or her improve. Accordingly, his mind cannot get over it and is still bothered by it. It could be that his mind is hooked on it. He always wants to turn around to look at the faces of those two people."
When I first heard about others bad-mouthing my wife, I did not mind much and comforted her. However, when I saw my wife full of tears, my human attachment arose. Although I knew that the conflict was targeting my attachment, I could not let it go. I felt indignant for my wife and thought she should clarify things with her supervisor and find the customer to help her. However, after a while I did not feel that would be right. As a practitioner, I should follow a higher law and should not go by the criterion of ordinary people. However, my human attachments kept taking over. I felt we should go to the higher authority to resolve this issue. I then stewed about how mean the supervisor was. "He knew he was wrong, but he persisted in his mistake and lied. He did bad things to us. We should find an opportunity to undermine him and get even." Many bad thoughts surged up in my mind. Then I remembered that I was a practitioner and should handle things with righteous thoughts.
Teacher said in the article "The Closer to the End, the More Diligent You Should Be,"
"But as cultivation is lived out, when the suffering bears down on you and conflicts come up that hit upon the deepest part of you-and especially when it rattles the rigid notions you have-the test is really hard to pass. It can even be to the point that you know full well it's a test but still can't let go of your attachments."
When I calmed down and carefully reviewed my thoughts, I knew it was my rigid notions that had interfered with my righteous thoughts. When I handled the conflict with righteous thoughts, things changed. I helped my wife understand how to view the situation with Dafa principles. I told her to let it go and not to fight with them, and she would be rewarded in the future. I also told her an ancient Chinese story on "Returning Good for Evil." She gradually calmed down.
Another day passed. I heard that the supervisor was just angry for a while and never mentioned it again.
I learned a good lesson from this incident. It is normal to have human attachments when we come across a conflict. What is most important is to distinguish between human attachments and righteous thoughts. We should restrain our human attachments and strengthen our righteous thoughts. If we can always look inside ourselves, we can find the real problem. The issue will get increasingly complicated if we have strong attachments. When our righteous thoughts dominate, the issue will be easily resolved.
(Clearwisdom.net) I once went out to distribute truth-clarification materials with other practitioners. As we went out, it started to rain. In a certain residential area we each took some materials to distribute separately. The other practitioners didn’t take much before leaving, and I carried the rest. Then I lost touch with the others. I thought, "I lost my fellow practitioners. How long will it take me to distribute all these materials? It’s raining hard. The materials may get wet."
I thought I'd better go home. But then I thought, "A God will do what he promises. I must do what I have promised. I am a Dafa practitioner in the Fa-rectification period. I came to the world to help Teacher during the Fa-rectification to save sentient beings. Teacher wants us to attain the righteous enlightenment of selflessness. How can I be stopped by the rain?"
I carried the truth-clarification materials on my back and covered them with my coat. With Teacher’s help, I distributed all the materials without any problem. Although it was raining hard, none of the materials got wet, and neither did my clothes.
On another occasion, I went with a practitioner to her hometown to distribute truth-clarification materials. We took a bus, and when we got off the bus, it was already dark. We decided to have a meal first. After we had dinner, we debated about which village we should start with to distribute materials. We discussed and discussed until it was already 9:00 p.m. without coming to a decision. I asked the other practitioner, "Which village would you like to go to? It’s already 9:00 p.m. and we haven’t distributed one piece yet! We have a box and two bags of materials. When can we finish distributing all of them?" I was anxious, and began to complain to her. "You know how to get there. Let’s not waste any more time." The practitioner didn’t say a word. I suddenly remembered what Teacher said in "Rationality" (Essentials for Further Advancement II):
"Validate the Fa with rationality, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and save people with mercy…"
Wasn't it irrational for me to be anxious? Isn’t this an attachment? In addition, this practitioner is quite new, and had never distributed materials before. It’s not easy for her to step forward. I should coordinate well with her. How could I complain to her?
I calmed down and said, "We have Teacher with us. There is nothing to worry about. Let’s ask Teacher to help us to distribute the truth to the sentient beings." Every piece of material in our hands suddenly appeared to be shining. We realized that Teacher was encouraging us to do well. With the merciful support of Teacher, we distributed all the materials smoothly. It was almost 1:00 a.m. When we finished.
These are some examples of what I have experienced in distributing truth-clarification materials with fellow practitioners. Everything I have done was with Teacher’s help and encouragement. As long as we validate Dafa with a pure heart, we can experience miracles.
