The understanding of a local Thai practitioner on the issue of Fa-rectification
The number of practitioners is relatively small in Thailand and among them the majority are senior citizens. There are differences in language and culture. It needs time for them to understand the Fa and they do not study the Fa enough. They all wanted to do the three things well and were very much afraid that they might be lagging behind. I saw some of the practitioners go out early in the morning and come back late in the evening, to hand out truth-clarification materials. Some were busy producing Dafa material CDs and displaying boards and banners. They often worked into the small hours of the morning. Some practitioners were busy writing articles, doing translation and making contacts. Some worked through the night. They all made the best use of precious time to save sentient beings.
When practitioners from China came to Thailand, they felt it was difficult to share with the local practitioners because of the language barrier. When they wanted to clarify the truth to the local people or local government the language barrier also hindered the work to be carried out. The other problem is that there are not enough truth-clarification materials in the Thai language. Therefore their main activities focused on clarifying the truth to the Chinese visitors, distributing Chinese truth-clarification materials and the Nine Commentaries to local Chinese as well as making phone calls or using the Internet to clarify the truth.
Because the practitioners from China received the education of the evil party culture at home, these factors are still interfering with them. Therefore the factor of the party's culture appears in their cultivation. Some of the Thai practitioners could not understand, so there were conflicts between the practitioners from China and the local Thai practitioners. Sometimes there were even arguments. Practitioners, whether Thai or Chinese, are all particles of Dafa. When all of the particles become one body it is very powerful and the evil will be destroyed.
What should practitioners do when fellow practitioners are beaten or detained and when the evil hinders the handing out of the truth-clarification materials or interferes with our practice site?
During the period of December 4 to 15, 2005, incidents of thugs beating practitioners, stealing newspapers, interfering with practice sites and detaining practitioners happened in both Argentina and Thailand. On December 18, 2005, nearly 30 Thai local practitioners went to the Chinese Embassy to protest, to put up banners and to eliminate the evil. This hit the evil hard and it was really frightened.
More and more practitioners clarified the truth to the Thai immigration department and the police demanding the unconditional release of the practitioners who had been arrested. This played a role in disintegrating the evil, frightening the evildoers and saving people. When practitioners clarified the truth to the United Nations High Commissioners for Refugees they expressed their wish to protect the practitioners who were under persecution and to condemn the Chinese Communist Police and the Thai police.
If the Thai practitioners improve as one body and coordinate as one body in clarifying the truth to the Thai Government, the Royal Family, the media and people from all walks of life; if they continue to go to the Chinese Embassy to send forth righteous thoughts and widely spread the Nine Commentaries, then sentient beings in Thailand will side with "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance," and choose a beautiful future.
At the time when the Fa-rectification process in Thailand came across a series of problems Teacher published a new article, "A Reply to the Dafa Disciples of Peru." Teacher said,
"Dafa disciples' cultivation is done among ordinary people, and this is something never done before in history. If you each travel well your respective paths there are bound to be difficulties, and going forward to meet those difficulties head-on is for the sake of validating Dafa, saving all beings, doing away with the old forces' arrangements, and countering the persecution. The cultivation done in the past never had these things, and Dafa disciples are the pioneers. That is why in cultivation sometimes you will do well, and sometimes you won't know what to do. When you encounter difficulties, sit down and study the Fa some more, and as long as you are righteous in thought and action, there will be no barrier that you can't pass through."
The dark dense haze in Thailand is only a temporary phenomenon. With the advancement of the Fa-rectification, the haze will be completely eliminated. This is because Dafa will definitely succeed. The practitioners in Thailand will follow Teacher's words, "When you encounter difficulties, sit down and study the Fa some more." We will improve ourselves in the Fa as early as possible and ensure the keeping of righteous thoughts and righteous actions.
